@mrspacedOUTtomato, perhaps in days of yore when telegrams took to long to arrive and bubonic plague was raging throughout the country vides nay have been used but these days, no. I dont buy it,
I'd sooner believe Welshfalcon has fairies or whatever they prefer to be called these days in his garden.
Didn’t you read the Libor papers. They use instant message!

This is listed on AIM, so there is actually designated market makers watching the trades.! Whether or not they use codes is open to debate.
apparently not all mms have a telephone and it is a good way of warning their competitors
Ok. Still not covered.
One thing we have in common at least , we both want this share to fly upwards.
Cheers
It's not a question of belief.
Try and imagine the number of trades that go through a MMs books during the day. Then try and imagine how many people they will need to watch out for, interpret, and act upon these mythical codes. It just doesn't happen.
Most trades are done automatically when within the normal trading range for any particular stock. There may also be a balancing order/sale for a small number created by the system. To try and set up codes, manage them and act on them within the amount of trades going through at any one time is simply a silly notion.
Ok, you unbelievers. I can only see that there are plenty of small buys going through, yet the price is being held in the current range. Sells being absorbed by mms to fill another order. Let's see if we don't get another TR1 soon to show this.
Lol.
I think it's not politically correct to call 'em fairies any more.
I've got fairies at the bottom of my garden.
I have, honest.
The little girl from next door tells me that she talks to them and little girls never lie.
Or tidying up an inheritance
Codes never lie. You just got to believe in them.
They’re also just a way of deceiving dozy people. Put a “code” through and tell some gullible sods it means something good or bad.
These 'codes' are utter dribble. It is either small trades or, more likely, MMs balancing their books having filled an order.
Scarabbeatle, :0).
"800 - Prepare for an increase in trading volume, and 600 - Apply resistance at the ASK price to keep the price from increasing".
In my view we should see the price moving up before close trading to break the 220p.
Good luck all.
Woodstock1970,
Hi. I can see your point of 50/50, but I still believe there's something here on the codes. For instance, you want to buy some sng shares. What do you do? I know for me I look at how much cash I have to invest and place an order. What are the likelihood of it getting me exactly 500, 800 or 600 shares?
Sure, it may be someone just picking 500 because it is what they need for some reasons (they like round numbers), or the are rounding up an order.
Anyway, if MMs wish to quickly send a message to each other it could be the faster way to do it. Now, for me where there is smoke...
Nevermind..

Depends if Wilson is on the prowl.
If I used an anolgy, the 800 and 600 trades look like a beautiful lady in a bar, that keeps looking this way. Might get a kiss but the odds are 50/50.
Mrninjazx6,
What is your mental age? 5?
I do hold SNG by the way, now 33% of my Portfolio so it was certainly not a deramp, which you may have thought the case to be, and led you to vomit your garbage.
Many may not believe in codes, but I do and you can see ( not you Mrninjazx6, of course) from my previous posts that I was correct on the codes. Anyway, nevermind.
As per you Mrninjazx6, don't bother to reply to my post as I will not be able to read them as I am placing Mrninjazx6 in the garbage filter can.
Good luck to holders.

Although our position appears very good. I am distracted at reading of investors putting all their money on just one stock .
Ones advice might appear second hand but it's never good to place all of ones saving on one stock whatever the attention.
The trick with surviving the market is stay within own ones comfort.

don't hold back ninja..lol..did you put a short on the weather today?
Bull****ting, ****wit.
800 - Prepare for an increase in trading volume
600 - Apply resistance at the ASK price to keep the price from increasing.
Just seen them popping up.
