Fira, can you put it in a letter of intent that it is your birthday or send me a text to confirm.Ha ha have a great day.
Happy Birthday Fira!
Is ‘right’ twice a day.
Hey Learner, Not really interested in Nickel’s and DJ’s ramblings - not sure if they still post on this board - even the proverbial broken clock is twice a day; anyhoo, I believe in my own investment criteria for buying into a company.
Hi Prop - it was much less than a year ago DJ was posting about RMM on here - few months I think - but I was still buying GGP heavily at that time. Before the big dip.
DJ was I'd say a huge ramper here - I think he admits that - but he saw the problems - told many of us - and we ignored him, and ignored Nickel Investor's warnings.
I hope you are correct about SML - I've never sold a single share - which turned about to be a huge mistake. Will be delighted if I can break even.
I totally agree about the BOD here - have lost all faith in them, Again - hope they can prove me wrong.
Fira, Certainly one for buying on the dips - waiting for the 0.3s again.
‘Swapped’, not ‘wrapped’.
Thelearner, He may well have been on about them, ages ago - but, if you classify ‘ages ago’ as, say, about a year ago, then you would now be significantly underwater: RMM was a mismanaged company, with a significant debt to repay - hence, new management, with a turnaround plan, with debt wrapped for equity; the lesson is clear: don’t buy into shares without performing your own due diligence - only now is RMM a good investment with multibags potential, much like this one.
Cheers for the good wishes, take care :-)
I bought RMM this week - DJ was on about then ages ago.
Hawkmoon - all the best - I site here on a big loss thinking I should have sold up either when it briefly reached 0.8 to 0.9 when we were in court about Brendagate, or when I was buying GGP at 1.6
Hindsight is wonderful
Hawkmoon, I’m unsure as to exactly who would be annoyed at your selling and leaving SML: it is a - relatively - free market, from which you can enter and exit of your own volition, without anyone really caring. Best of luck to you in your future investments - I know that I need it myself.
DV, I, too, bought RMM for a quick win - but has now elevated into a marathon gain.
Rest my case selling at the bottom
Each to their own. We are due news this most probably this quarter regarding the PEPR and funding to bring a second income stream online. We have held this "bottom" for a long time so this it where we are. We may fluctuate around this mark but this is the Market value and the tangible asset value. We have an income stream of circa $3m pa and we have an mcap that will respond to the slightest interest or PEPR news. If I had been watching this share from a non holding position since 2016, I would be asserting that this is the time to buy, not sell.
Well, I took the plunge and finally sold my remaining 2 million shares yesterday and probably a few here will be annoyed that I do wish you all well and hope that this share comes good in the near future.
I have been in SML since October 2016 so have experienced the roller coaster ride alongside a lot of you.
I don't need to restate my reasons for leaving as you will all have a pretty good idea.
So, bye for now and I've enjoyed your company over the last few years!
Hate to say it but RMM does appear to have a very decent BoD but, hey, i once thought that of JP and his gang...
Yes Prop, bought into RMM for a quick punt which evolved, as I learnt more about the company, into a substantial long term(ish) investment. Much like SML! lol
yeah, there is a lot of talk...thats the big question
Slurm, And therein lies the equally similar potential - get that PEPR and finance, and off we go!
I got in a good price, too - just can’t work out when to bail out.
hey i like RMM too,, i got in at a nice price and its doing well, but it does have similarities to this one, i.e. quite likely a lot of LTH are underwater
DV, You just stick with RMM.
I’m with you on that, Lupi - like a dog with a bone.
Hope so Lupi (very slow at bzt too!)
We will do this Q IMO. PEPR and funding, watch this space.
Have we had some good news? lol
