Good update, pretty much as expected I think, not sure what the market was expecting, but only dipped 2% so not the end of the world, onwards and upwards, maybe some were expecting a bigger dividend hike, although to be fair, I am certainly not here invested for dividends. Been here since the brexit vote - and superdry have been on my radar a long time before then.
...(apart from the useless rambling of MickTKipper probably - I wouldn't know as I have him filtered...), but good statement from Next today has seen us move definitively through 20 today to a new all-time high. Very satisfying indeed!

a large 2m trade published at 5:06pm. Standard Life is off loading but someones hoovering them up big time.
Ever since upbeat Capital Markets day this has been on a great run, I think we can assume the 9th Nov' trading update is going to be a good one?! With 50% of earnings coming from the continent (economically on the up) and the weak ........bodes well I think.
Nice. Can't see any particular news mind you. Anyone else?
...and I'm glad I did!! Back up to all time highs, and well on the way to 20. Hurrah!!
So, Sales/ and profits confirmed for the year. Yes the gross margin is being squeezed by Sterling, but deserving of a 7% fall in the shareprice? Not for me. I'll be buying more below £15.
SGP SuperGroup inching up for a possible breakout of a very tight range over last week or so. I meant a share price rise in a couple of months if not sooner. Another rise expected in the third and final quarter.
Whole retail sector showed bad results. Supergroup already produced a trading statement in November so the money was all in she share on the day of results. Profit taking and people being scared due to the sector pushed the price down. Large short sellers are pushing this down anyway. It will come back up to £1700-1750 levels in a couple of months. Blame short sellers. Price will go down again on ex dividend day 20th January.
Noticed SGP had fantastic results last year and sp went down, looks like it will happen again this year!
Nice results, ex div 20 January 2017, payment 27 Jan 2017 dividend of 7.8p. Let's see how things end up today.
Results again....have been in and out of this stock since its debut, currently in and looking forward to a breakout today.

Hi Rock would we expect a trading update in Jan too? to give us an indication of Xmas trading?
no middle man involved , straight from a factory into the shops. downside is mild winter in key buying mths . Coats and thickish knitwear sales suffer .Plus side is maybe a swing in favour of t,shirt sales and shirt to blouse instead. although these are smaller prices the Profit mgns are very high. the next quaterley report will decide the sp south to late 13s or north to 18s.
does anyone know why this has broken above 1600p?
it does what it says on the the name ,great results today .
...today, but can't see any news..?
