“what could we expect when our Pivotal year gets in full swing”
Possibly old age
C11, Wooly Boeing (welcone back) agree with you guys completelly, a presentation is what it is, and after such a media blitz delighted that new shareholders can learn more about the Scancell pipeline, which far from it is not all about the Covid vaccine at all, but for now the driver for the SP until definitive news of progress to the clinic for the platforms which are ready.
For now just really enjoying this share, and I said last year when I first started trading it it was bringing me in about a grand a month, on limited available income but standing at 220k shares, always having 20% to trade with. 26/27 succesful trades now. made £75 from a trade on Monday and £325 yesterday, buying 20k at 22.9 and closing trade at 24.7.
I genuinely never traded this share till last year, just understanding now the trade ranges and on this occasion I don"t feel we weill break 28 without news..................mind you I said that at 18p and we flew to 28p in a day from 15p!!!
I sincerely feel after the media blitz the presentation was a very good thing to inform shareholders further and news will follow very shortly. Trading volumes are keeping high and Twitter followers increasing again by 57 this week to arround f871 from 200 odd this time last year. Needless to say our investor base is growing substantially and the benefits of that we will see on a good news RNS shortly.
One very happy investor just becoming aware of the trading opportunities that are ever present, however small too.
As I have said for a few months, watch out for Sanofi and Scancell getting together on COVIDITY, I have my reasons for saying that and wish us all good luck in the weeks to come. We have come so far in a very short time, what could we expect when our Pivotal year gets in full swing?
Goodnight.
Did anyone who did actually listen to the presentation hear anything at all to suggest something wasn’t working, needed more time, was going to be halted etc etc? No? I didn’t either. As for urgency around COVIDITY, where are others 2nd Gen vaccines? 2021 trial timeline was repeated ie. what has previously been stated.
Covid CT1: Safety
Covid CT2: Efficacy
Do we need a 3rd? I thought Cobra were manufacturing the vaccines for these two trials already.
Cliff was clear that in order to commercialise it, Scancell would need a partner who could scale.
Chelsea - I think the negatives are that they have not grasped the urgency of Covid development and still are focusing on legacy strategies. Typical of academics. However, the timing and purpose of this presentation confuse me. What were the motives?
To be fair, if I was new to Scancell, I would think what a great little company.
Probably 3 trials starting this year, a pipeline to die for, and loads of cash to implement the plans.
Cliff was just re-iterating in his own inimitable style what we LTHs already know.
It was a presentation of the pipeline, within the boundaries of what can and cannot be disclosed in that format. Yes it might be repetition for some LTH but surely the game-changer here is the recent investment (and it is recent) and the industry status of where it has come from? Where are the negatives in that context? I don’t see any.
OK, I think it is probable that the Covidity trial will be the 3rd Scancell trial to start this year, not the first.
Not sure we will get any SP movement off the back of that. Hopefully some of the 143 attendees were journalists who can fuel the fire.
I asked a question about whether the COBA manufacturing could be scaled if the covid CTs proved efficacy.
Cliff covered a lot in a very brief presentation. I get the feeling that the presentation was a much for big pharma suitors as for investors.
Only caught 143 attending though - obviously need to get the word out...
Ruck
I did think I saw a glint of that particular coin
Some good information there - seemed more willing to speak commercial partnerships than he has previously. Disclosed that we have ongoing relationships with a number of big pharma on seemingly all of our platforms, that are looking to be kept up to date with all clinical developments.
I got one question in but as I suspected he would not name the companies they are in discussion with.....worth a try though
Everone got their parachutes ready for tomorrow!!?
I thought that was pretty downbeat. Covidity news not for a while.
J53,
Why, was someone doing a dance with a 20p piece?
What a rubbish Q&A did any investor actually get a question answered lol....
Anyways was an alright presentation ... and we are exactly where we were before it
Big Pharma partnership required asap
Ruck, worse than that I think. Feels more like I've been warped back to a certain infamous AGM......
Vovid-19 - I think he implied news of a partner to do the heavy lifting isn't that far away. If that is one of the big Pharma names that would be very positive for the S.P. imo.
Getting a bit of Echo lol
Actually good that we have funding to do first bit. But SO vague on timing
partner after initial clinical data for Covidity
Well sounds like the pharmas that missed out on first-gen vaxs are showing an interest :)
Ooh, big players who missed 1st gen vaccines looking for 2nd gen
Woke me up!
