Don't get too caught up on short term price targets folks! I know we're all guilty of it though!
Let this one play out for a couple years and we'll be much much higher I think
Ya right GLA. And why? Or is it one of those 'finger in the air and try to look clever' jobs? ATB DYOR YAWOS.
Well this has reached 450 ahead of my expectations.
Thought we would need more positive business results to hit 450-500
Same 600-700 by end of year. GLA
You are welcome Sheltie, your 700 target is lower end in here and highly possible as soon as international cruises start and good numbers for first half by September. Then saga will back to ftse250 and 1000p will come sometime next year.
Hope I am right, lol. Anyway, difficult to say target but this will keep going up.

Many thanks for that Gordonzhang. And I thought I was bullish with my £7 price target!! ATB
Sheltie. This is it:” Saga (LON:SAGA) (I hold) - financing changes proposed. I see this positively in principle, moving riskier bank debt onto safer, longer-term (and covenant-free) bonds. This would also provide another £80m of cash headroom, which is already ample, per trading update last week. I remain firmly bullish on this share, with a personal price target of 1000p in due course, I explain my workings & rationale below.”

Where are you seeing a £10 Target Price? I've looked at Stockapedia, but can't see anything to that effect. Can you copy something in here? ATB
Thanks slownsteady, it’s nice to see more people has same view as us.
I'm a great admirer of Stockopedia, Gordon. I'm not a subscriber as I'm more of an Ownership sitter on stocks purchased, but can't reccomend it highly enough.
I've tried them on a standard 2 week free trial (they don't seem to mind if you don't subscribe afterwards).... but they are extremely data rich, and their Guru screens are a revelation (I mean different Investing theories).
I would recommend you all to give it a try. You'll be impressed.
I am really enjoyed to read everyone’s post, hope saga keep us happy forever. Agree with you guys, the future looking good, anything from 700-1200p are possible. Just read a this from stockopedia:” Saga (LON:SAGA) (I hold) - financing changes proposed. I see this positively in principle, moving riskier bank debt onto safer, longer-term (and covenant-free) bonds. This would also provide another £80m of cash headroom, which is already ample, per trading update last week. I remain firmly bullish on this share, with a personal price target of 1000p in due course”
I didn’t check the full story, as I think must be same view as us.
Looking for another blue day today, why other travel shares looks quiet? There are a lot rumours positive to travels.

@ Beach and Roxbury,
I've been down exactly the same roads as you both, so I understand fully. Going forward, it's important to be honest with yourselves where things have succeeded, but more importantly, to admit to oneself where things have gone badly wrong. That is the path that enables learning, even if (like with me) things still tend to go wrong. :)
I made a mistake earlier this year on Saga by being too risk averse due to unreliable messaging by the government - I'll not be repeating that mistake.
@Rox - yep, I've done the massive highs and lows between the late 1990s and the months after 911. Phew! Stress or what! I went from very rich to rather poor in less than a year.
Having made good those losses and built a new, strong position, sadly, I lost another fortune last March in the energy sector. I will never be able to fully recover from that.
But well done to you Beach - I admire your courage. Great stuff. But be a little more careful next time, eh?
@slowandsteady,
Yes, I've been back in Saga for a while. My temporary set-aside made me miss almost 100p in movements which cost me another fortune. But I now have a huge position here averaged in the higher 300s and I expect to see several 100p movements up between now and next year.
Now is the time to enjoy seeing our first cruise ship return to the oceans in a few days' time and the associated press coverage.
And in another 4 weeks the inaugural - and likely full capacity - cruise of Saga's brand new cruise ship. Yet more media coverage to come there.
I find it rather hard to believe that the share price will not be over 600p by then with all of the restrictions being lifted for the double vaccinated - which is, of course, 100% of our demographic market.
I understand from the press that news of the above could well be broadcast by the government on Thursday afternoon.
Hi Alnwick and SOH Saga is still one of my biggest holdings but it’s nice to have a punt and been in and out of Card since 30p and it has done me well. I’m in big now and keep topping up as it’s dropped. RI yes it’s coming and I’m cool with that.
The million $ question is will Card @ 60p get to 90p before Saga @ £4.40 gets to £6.60?
Nobody knows of course but I’m hedging my bets and getting a finger in each pie!
What’s going on with CARD these days? Have they had or are they in the process of having a rights issue to sort out their debt problems?
I was watching closely from the sidelines when it was 30 p and ended up missing the boat. The story of my stock trading life.
Hi RoxburyHouse,
I’m a Geordie boy too !
I now live overseas but still visit the Toon when I get the chance.
Having owned Graphic design and Digital print companies I invested in VistaPrint a few years ago and then Moonpig.
You suggested CARD earlier in the year and I took a look at their business model and OMG their gross margin is amazing !
I bought a few late February at 38P and watched them go over 90P.
Now at 60P I’ve bought more.
CARD is another 5-10 Bagger !
Thank you RoxburyHouse.
I will look out for the Toon top when we are all cruising with SAGA.
PS
We can all send a Digital CARD !!!
I noticed that aswell Rogue it was definitely £7 last time he mentioned getting the beers in.
If any of you guys are feeling brave then have a look at CARD. (Not you Beach - you are in enough trouble!).
59p to buy us a bargain. Don’t discuss it here and please don’t just buy on my recommendation. I’m just saying check it out.
I’ll look forward to that BB! Best of luck mate.
Banbury you keep raising the bar so to speak on these drinks....
I'm game for a trip oop North as I said so sometime eh?
Remember Banbury's story .
80k down on AIM over a few year - that's a casino . Do or die / boom or bust on the last 20k - all of into Saga lowest price £1.27 but pretty low (£1.50) average. £7 and I'm back level.
Reseached this one to death and fair value £7-9. I think Sheltie is bang on this has £6 written all over it this year. Sell Tour or give it away and we will hit £8 this calander year.
Beach £8 party the beers are on me :)
Thanks Rox and well done too. ‘He who dares Rodders’ To be honest if it wasn’t for you guys I wouldn’t have done it, so thank you
Beach you got to do what you got to do and for me it shows you have got spunk! Doing nothing is easy but you are young and each you do “something” as crazy as this (and what you have done is super crazy!) you learn something that no daft courses can teach you. Many years ago in the dot com boom bust with a young family I borrowed money from the bank that could barely pay back and cutting a long story short lost the lot. But 20 odd years later I’m back and cleaning up.
Good on you mate. You have got balls (and spunk!) ha ha
Good luck Beach, been arrested a few times myself, in my youth, many years ago :-)......usually involved alcohol, etc, etc but those days are behind me now.....honestly :-)
Absolutely guys, first thing to be paid off, and won’t be doing it again. Just a one-off, extreme hold, under extreme circumstances! Thanks
Once those planes are back in the skies my business will start my income again.
Talk about living on the edge, Beach. Good luck, make your Credit Card payoff a top priority.
Beach, this has come good for you but my experience is that next time it may not so tread very carefully and avoid aim shares when investing , unless it is spare cash!
