Chaps I don’t mean to be thick but is they eps @ 2p with the current order book now and predicted flying hours or would the eps change if RR win the Valor 280 Contract or Aukus work,
Cheers
I never kid myself this is going to the moon but like everybody else I've bought in as a recovery play. If you trade in and out that's fine by me. That's the way it goes. I'm a holder and ex worker. 98p was my buy in.
Look at where we were last September 120p then a bit of euphoria after some good contracts then up to 150p. Since then crash. Yes crash , when a share nearly halves that's a crash in my book . Never mind.

Since then it's been nothing but bad news. Look at the sales forecasts and earnings revisions. Both downwards even just looking at 2022 Sales are forecast down £12.5bn to £11.5bn .Earnings are worse .6p EPS is now just 2p. Now then the company issues it's own guidance and if these analysts are wrong they would give an update .I've never heard anything. Maybe it'll be different and there's a surprise ? I'm putting things on the back burner . It's taking longer that's all. Got to be realistic.

According to https://www.cronicavasca.com/tag/itp-aero things have been left a little late so there is every chance it could be delayed as a result.

Perfect time to buy more in such a great company

Slow and steady, very good point. You can take airport data and are how many planes are flying now, it's ridiculous (ok not all with rr engines in, but an idea). Off the top of my head manchester 23000ish month vs 2018 numbers of 18000 ish.heathrow post their data too. All good for us
This will jump back up, unfortunately not in the time frame I personally predicted, but it will. As said below, the fundamental are there, just got to out last the short term noise and market manipulation by current events. I use manipulation broadly, sentiment, MMs, the city boys. Why else would a pay deal make a company drop over 5%, ridiculous. It will come back. Not comfortable though in the mean time
I've stopped trying to explain SP movements rationally, it doesn't work. You can have the best news and the price may still go down. SP is driven by investors' sentiments, nothing else. Those sentiments can be affected by the news, but there are so many other factors, including personal circumstances, that it makes it impossible to predict what is going to happen to the stock price. If you read analysts' statements online, they are trying to explain stock movements after the fact. If the price falls, the reason is the same as if the price would go up.
Morning Medi
I’m no investor let’s get that straight so I’m honest with you.
SMR has been pushed to the front now with concerns over Gas supply & prices I believe it will be a fantastic global industry for RR why ?
Because the EU & UK desperately need Energy Security and more important controlled stable prices being the key what better than SMRs certainly Germany/Czech/Poland & UK I believe will purchase SMRs though again only my opinion ive no facts.
RR. Share price dropped nearly by 12% within this week. There was no fundamental change in the structure and no bad news from the company. So, why did this happen?
1- The completion of ITP contract due on 30th June is delayed. Comment: No, there is no evidence to suggest that ITP is delayed.
2- The union rejected the payment offer by RR.s management. Comment: Yes, of course this has a big effect on the share price as it may lead to the strike which can cause a loss of income to the company. However, this is not the main cause for the drop as the talks are still going on.
3- Analyst consensus: Comment: No, this is happening all the time and the share price is not reacting to these issues as such. Bank of America lowered its target to 77P from 80P this week.
4- There is a fear of global recession. Comment: Yes, it has had some effects on the general market especially airline industry as the prices are generally lower than three months ago.
5- The political uncertainty and the result of by-election defeats. Comment: Yes, I think this is the main cause for the price fall as the government is major client of the RR. for the power, defence, SMR, and so on. The stable and strong leadership of the government will make the present and future workloads of the RR. guaranteed.
Looking forward to your constructive viewpoints with great interest.
