That’s because they are not engineers and know nothing about the products !
PHEW! I was about to run for the hills when someone wrote WORRYING! Lol
Hi. It is only a couple of blades in 20 engines these can be swapped ( if needed) at routine scheduled shop visits so no extra shop visit required if it is deemed a serious issue. Chief Engineer has said already it is not related to T1000 and bears no extra significant costs or impacts to customers
So mark you was not aware of this new issue when I mentioned it . Would live to know your thoughts now ? It did not actually or so far done too much harm.
Please mate give it up
I did say “closing” meaning some still
May be open, but some have closed, shorters like this don’t really bother me when I know facts from the company itself..
I’ll post negative when needed of course but the company is on course for a re-structure and world is also going to push on.. If you don’t like that sit
On your short that’s fine everyone has there way of trading
Your opinion is ok but what I don’t like is when things that people say are not corrrect (Ryanair comment from yourself) so yes I will follow to correct this and with things that actually mean something to this share and about the company (as some other valued posters on here )
As Someone said the other day, please post only corrects comments that help the chat not things that are false & don’t mean a thing to RR!
mark_rs
That post did make me laugh...oh so your "facts are correct"...but you just accidentally missed off the detail about Alliance Bernstein... yeah yeah OK... ramping is OK but anything else is ...yeah,yeah..I get it... OK..only put what the posters want to hear..OK..sure... no problem ...enjoy your day ...
For what it’s worth;

We all have our opinion
My facts are correct and I wouldn’t post anything that not as I’ve said before
But facts about flying to/from Spain and About airlines that don’t even use RR Engines, come on it’s a bit silly and totally inaccurate which is totally wrong on this board for people to read
If your not clued up on the future as in new products and new test bed investment, Itbwas a massive millstone to get that in derby and not around the world so I begin to wonder why your even invested or maybe your not.. so seems to point out you only want it to go down??
Very strange way to look at a company who you were invested in by not knowing there future investments and products ??
Just stating facts not having a go... very strange imo
Good luck to you

do "proper investors" write "-shorts closed or closing" when only a week ago Alliance Bernstein increased their short position by 0.13% to a declared figure of 0.51% ?
....so, it is pretty likely it has been them selling down into the retail investors buying what they think is the rise/recovery
Do you think Alliance Bernstein are going to be buying back just one week after announcing their increased short ??
...what do the "proper investors " think ??
" If you were a proper investor you should know all about the new test facility and R&D in derby??!! "
I do, I was just being polite.. interesting what you say about "proper investors" ...strange how many "proper investors" seemed suprised at the effect of covid on the airlines and the result on the airline engine business and never quite saw it coming...yet despite that some of them appear to see the recovery and imminent change ..plain as a day.... maybe looking at data beyond what you want to see helps..I dont know...
If you were a proper investor you should know all about the new test facility and R&D in derby??!!
Also sitting in Spain... good job most of the little carriers that you are talking about dont use RR engines on the older budget planes, most old RB211 etc have gone into cargo like FEDEX and AA internally as I’ve mentioned before
I don’t know what u expect in regards flights.. they are happening and will continue to increase internationally , but your comments seems to be sometimes far from what an actual investor would looking at and more a shorter or de Ramper
Again concentration on tourism in Spain!
mark_rs
thanks for your info on Derby R&D
"-flights increasing by thousands a day "
There have been an increase in European flights for the main summer season and no doubt the drop in cruise vacations has helped sell airline tickets instead ..but when airlines like Vueling etc offer 20% discounts on 2021 flights in order to get in much needed cash...it is still a long, long way from returning to "normal"
Qantas has cancelled flights to NZ until Sep and stopped selling any international flights until March 2021
They too have cut 20% of the work force and American Airlines are writing to pilots etc this week ..two airlines that give an indication as to how they see things at present

Right now I am on the Spanish coast in a main tourist city - it is amazingly quiet - very few tourists - normally there are thousands and thousands ..I spoke to a friend in Berlin on Monday and he said the same ..he said it was still verv quiet in terms of tourist numbers ..
About time been a month of down days.
Recovery under way :-))
Very soon You would like to think..
-shorts closed or closing
-flights increasing by thousands a day
-more good News from Vaccines On a weekly Basis
-world is getting to grips with coping And living with the current situation
- other sectors of business unaffected
-the business has adapted and took the measures to get through this
Onwards and upwards
When back to this?
Monday I reckon
