Another RNS, Goldman buying more, this should be very ''negative''. I would rather follow them.
Mline - yes and no. Now the company will get 2b in cash, which is positive. No explanation of droping below 75p rather than shorters which one day have to be closed. Goldman buying too, very positive, why would they do it and invest 5 % ?
toma - clearly the market didn't believe the original 2bln shares were actually worth £2.20 each - which is why we are here.
Dont understand this panic or may be my calculation is wrong. Before the rights issue there were around 2b shares at 2.2 each, which makes the MC arrounr £ 4.4b. Add 6.4b new shares as at £ 0.32 which is around £ 2b, makes the MC around £ 6.5B with 8.4B shares in issue and the company got the extra cash which is positive. Dividing 6.5 by 8.4 gives you a SP of £ 77p. Or 75p as it opened at this price. Please correct me anyone if I am wrong or missed something ?
Putting "sir" in a post doesn't make you seem more knowledgeable. It just shows you know how to spell "sir". We can still see you're just trolling - and now gas-lighting as well.
You do know that RR don't only get money from the servicing of their engines right? I mean, you know they are in other industries, all of which will come back into play as the economy recovers from the damage done to it by this virus? If you really think these will be anywhere near this level, or even lower, in, say, 1 year, you must be completely bonkers.
Sorry that was 2022 !
No I’m very calm been here over 30 years but your opinions don’t carry any weight for me so you keep guessing and as I said we will see where we are in 2020 !
Arsenal are you laughing or are the market laughing? Unless you paid less than 68p I am sure you are panicking hence you aggressive reply. Im no troll, I am an investor.
Shadow your right mate I’m just laughing at all of these clowns as they know nothing about the business take time out as you say
Hmmm, quite rude there Sir. It is a reality. The aircraft flying at the moment are less than quarter of what were flying pre covid. My point is completely valid as is the markets reflection of the share price. So Sir, regardless of the company being fully funded, there are no earnings and a debt pile that is can cripple the company. The share price will continue to creep lower and lower and the debt continues to pile with outgoings far outweighing income. GLA 40p and lower here.
Arsenal it’s full of clowns this board now best to ignore it for a few months as you know I am sure. All new doom and gloomers after the first wave of them toff etc gone like the wind. Clowns.
Investinvalue there is more to RR than Civil Aerospace,I accept that this is a massive earner for the business but flights Will get going again and as the business is fully funded till 2022 unless there is No vaccine then your points are invalid ! After all there are more planes in the sky now than April you sound very much like a Troll
That's weird - I'm sure I was on a plane only a week ago. And 10 days prior to that. And I keep reading that there are still about 50% of all flights going ahead. Plus, with the RI they've already said that will see them through. Plus, we know it's been fully underwritten so they know they will get their money.
It's almost as if you're just trolling....
Surely not.
I see no return for Rolls Royce and the company has been completely decimated. We have to face reality, flights are grounded, travel is a no go, aircraft will not need to be replaced and engines not needed anytime soon. I can not see this company surviving. Incredibly sad but we are looking at the end of a great company. All IMHO and so sad to see. GLA
