Did someone mention Copper?
A neighbour in need
To go electric, America needs more mines. Can it build them?

Antharry. I am also in the club of those who aren't the biggest fans of reading about "overhang" and "churn", at least not for weeks or months on end. A podcast featuring a well respected mining investor said that some shares get "left behind" whatever that means. Perhaps other copper mining outfits shout louder about what they are up to. He pointed out that market cap is way below where it should be and was very keen on the company's prospects but that isn't a great deal of consolation if the SP never moves out of a range. It may be that the management are happy to keep a low profile while they are turning things around and that when they have good news to impart they will embark on a round of PR. For me the most telling development of late was that the fund raise was three times oversubscribed; that tells you that a lot of people with a decent amount invested think the future looks good (or they wanted a quick profit). If the share price is still languishing around the current levels towards year end I would be concerned, but for me this was always a minimum 2-3 year hold unless something dramatic happens.
Thats a good question.
1. The biggest reason is sentiment - people looking at previous years losses and previous years promises that failed to materialise.
2. Fear of the "overhang" (personally I think its a load of rubbish), Lombard have over 1 billion shares that theoretically they can start selling next Monday.

This id one of the easiest ones going to value. What do we know?
1. The copper price
2. Mining Capacity
3. Processing recovery
4. Operating costs.
If you were buying an explorer going into development you wouldn't know any of that, everything would be hypothetical.
Boo wants to base investment decisions on past finanicals - the problem with that approach is you are effectively making decisions on conditions 12 - 18 months ago.
A huge asymmetric bet - yet hard to quantify.
"the guys who catch the much smaller gains" and perhaps miss the bigger losses....
Just for balance lol
I don't think the gold assay results will do anything - it will only confirm what the smelter paid for the gold. Gold here really is a side show and will account for less than 10% oftotal revenues. If people want to invest in gold, they would probably be better off looking at gold mining companies.
vast's just finished commissioning and is currently,at the ramp up stage.
and struggling with cash burn,by the looks of todays raise.
not sure, in terms of copper I think we are very undervalued here at current sp, the company are recruiting heavily so there must be progress underway in the mine, I think the current sp action is just the churn continuing albeit at a slightly higher level
B009 you can not compare this stock with VAST.
Im thinking the expected news might not be as good as expected! seen similar action with vast! _ Im just guessing based on the sp movement!
I'm now thinking the gold assays due this month could be the catalyst for the re-rate
Yup my 1.234.5007 buy gone in as a sell always doing this to the market to hold it back why play the mkt and nothing said ??
Anyway topped up again gl
Its actually questioning your logic right if you have brain?
Copper almost all time high! Fund raised yet the SP is at almost all time low and evidently some insiders are offloading!
Yes no brainer down here, will hold for good few months
