delia quotes"As a result of 9 years of Tory chaos the country is deeply divided everywhere you look, mutual respect has broken down, and there is a huge generational divide growing with the younger generations increasingly angered by the selfishness of the “boomers” who are in power." look tony blair took on an election and generation that never saw a labour government... emptied the coffers and left mr Gordon brown to sell our gold at the lowest possible price... then left a note when tories ousted them to say the cupboard is bare....we had austerity because as a nation a labour government left it like that.....FACT...thats why we see a labour govt every 50yrs..... tories balance the books....
Boris is streets ahead of any that opposed him. A statesman in the making (he has some rough edges)
He has the right attitude and energy to bring people together but the UK has been damaged by these past years and he has a difficult job but with perseverance and time it will all come good.
Scotland is part of the UK and I imagine the majority wish it to remain so. Should it subsequently happen that the majority wish to leave they must understand that they cease to be a financial burden on the English. Also that the door is firmly locked once they depart.
If we can get rid of Scotland it should help with RM profits. We can charge airmail prices to all those remote Scottish areas.
It isn't Johnson or the Tories they despise but democracy itself. Why? Because these fascists (though they conceal their totalitarian aims behind the more acceptable moniker, Communist) can't control how voters exercise their fundamental right.
Democracy and politics are two very different beasts. Over the last 5 years we have seen a London based political class undertake an organised coup of our democracy.
Democracy belongs to the voter and many political players hate that simple fact
DerekR
The landlord by day geriatric student by day.
Not to mention an odious tool
DerekR , I really don't understand these protests. There was a general election, some candidates put themselves forward to be the next prime minister, only 2 really stood a chance and one got the job with a fairly large majority.
Now I don't really like Boris Johnson because he doesn't often tell the truth and I didn't vote conservative in my constituency as there was a better, local candidate but the fact of the matter is that democracy has taken place.
Boris and the Tories are in for the next 5 years and Brexit will almost certainly get voted through early next year. Time for those who protest to suck it up and prepare for the 2024 general election!
delia it was fixed...….. a disgrace on all accounts.... only three people fixed this election and it was jez, dianne and mr IRA himself..... they made sure labour was unelectable... which is a shame on politics because you need a good shadow government to keep the govt in check at times....
delia you quote"It's a prediction not a promise Princess, Ttreat people like **** for long enough and they will respond. You hear it here first" as a lord of the manor you should surely know...…………..pmsl...plonker
That's your answer to everything when you don't get your way. Go on strike cause a riot, get the rent a mob in to cause mayhem.
Delia. Your not fooling anyone. Your "AS SICK AS A PARROT"
BOING!
Nuri. You cannot change how you view life I suppose. Try singing as you work After me now "always look on the bright side of life"
Redceo... never happy. Todays rise (which is heading towards a drop) is nothing to celebrate given the brutal fall over the last year and a half... Today's rise is slowly evaporating which I find amazing considering almost every other domestic company is up 6-7% minimum... Wake up people - Corbyn is gone - Socialism isn't ever coming back to Britain in the form of a Government! RMG is worth at least its asset value... So, what's the excuse for RMG still trailling now? Brexit sorted, US-China Trade deal sorted.... time Rico sorts that Union out for good!
Nuri. Your never satisfied. I know the SP is on a long term upward trajectory. I'm not intending selling any as a general rule.
How can I when my average is 750p ha ha
Absolutely Red,
Poor old Delia.
Norman. Ignore anything Derek says. He or she (delia) is going through a serious breakdown today and probably for a while due to JC being outed.
Expect more nastiness than usual.
Not a very healthy rise at this stage of the afternoon trailing the FTSE 250 (at just over 2%)... you would think from the results, the Conservatives hadn't won the election at all.... and we were heading off a cliff.... this should be closing no lower than £2.60 today.... and needs to be nearer £4.00 before I would even consider selling a single share....
Southern virtue signalling landlords with big mouths like you are a big part of Labours demise this morning.
Leave the Labour Party to the traditional working class !
Great result to get rid of those socialists ideas now let us see some positives towards this business and SP for the future,I see Mad Isle and the militants have had a night off
