Regarding the Rmg dividend, I got mine credited on HL yesterday lunchtime. I chose not to re invest or to be paid out because i wanted to be in charge of what happened, A nice little 2.5k pot to ponder on.
have you ever known a union rep ever lose money or be sacked? very rare. Iv'e known people being kept in jobs when normal people would have been sacked, when they quite rightly should have been, just because you belong to a union , doesn't mean you can't be sacked for doing wrong. I am a union member and if I think things are wrong i will support them, but I'm not a lemming and will not just support what the union says we do.
I really don't understand people who have negative views. In life always be positive in all ways, that includes work. I believe in a good union that looks after its workers but sadly the union has been taken over, and no matter what you do they want more. a good workforce is a happy workforce, sadly the union today is unrealistic and the people who run them are only looking after themselves .I say this as a union member.
What ever happens to the share price, I'm in this for the long term. I'm sure Rm will come good in the next 2 years and investors will reap the benefit. there are clever people out there who would love to drive the share price down and then snap them up. The small investor should think long term. Good luck and stay calm.
Hi all. New to this site but old hand at investing. Worked for RM for 30 years so have seen all the lazy people, and the good ones. It's a shame that to many of the old workers still live in the past and don't want to do a days work any more. They don't mind finishing there shift 2 hours early but moan and want overtime when they finish 5 minutes late, wheres the give and take these days?
