Yes I agree with you both, all seems to have gone quiet on that front now. SP rising nicely here too ahead of the next trading update.
Yes, I hope not...well not at these valuations
hfd isn't worth a £1/share imv (bugger all tnw; highly indebted; precarious business model)
Hope not Krusty. HFD have very little tangible BV, cash and return ons. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, so don't want acquire them indirectly. I've had enough of this with MNDI merging with SMDS (RNS today).
Good oil + used oil = used oil
Don't feel sorry for them jolly, they'll be pushing their poison somewhere else if they get burned here.
I notice Halfords had a shocker of a trading update last week but Morgan Stanley are now buying the share, could it be they think an offer might be incoming? REDD were rumoured to be eyeing them at one point. Should be able to pick the business up at rock bottom price if they decided to take it any further now.
Almost pity 'em
they are great at finding and exploiting shorting opps, but terrible exiting
Are bizarrely slow to recognise inflexion
tp £6++
(with plenty of volatility)
This must be tough for the shorts
they like the down channel...but the underlying reality is hot against them
they are picking pennies from the steaming tarmac inches in front of the stuttering steamroller
After good week's work?
well done, lads
But you have to respect their power
could this re-test £3..p/e below 5; below tnw; prospective div yield c9%?
yes, I guess...the balance sheet isn't easy to understand with the significant use of lease finance...and vtu shows how serious a discount to tnw can get...the div yield nearing 10% is a bit of a shocker
More for the B@@stard
Why do you think it was 3 days without me posting? Yes I am out, they say "Buy low sale high".
You have much to learn, and my prediction is short term, in this horrible market any good profit must be TAKEN.
note: If you do not know BB = Bollinger Bands - chart ... http://tinyurl.com/3phff6w9
Hi B@@stard, You are coming here when the SP is down Coward.
Learn: Avery share has its cycle, nothing goes in a straight line, not even your little Wily
Has reached top of BB down again
Yep. Great predictions on the share price. lol.
On the trades is showing 2 trades of 25,000. one at 354.50p ( morning ) and the other 356p on the afternoon = 50K
Redde Northgate (REDD)
Non-Executive Director BUYS close to £10,000
Director name: Rabson,Nicola
Amount purchased: 2,799 @ 355.25p
Value: £9,943.45
They don't buy every day @tesa They sub the buying out (to Numis) and follow strict trading guidelines - as do all companies who implement buybacks. I agree though about the effects of the buyback, which should not be overlooked. 4 out of my 13 companies are currently carrying out buybacks, which are a strong signal - second only to director buys imo.
More volume than usual to start the day, a good sign, maybe the 50,000 buyback every day helps a bit not reported yesterday.
Glad the SP is performing as expected since I selected to go better. Slowly but surely is moving higher 357p so 18p on the up since the 339p and in just 2 weeks
And the B@stard - Matser (Maty - has gone to criticize at MNDI thread lately.
Charts and real analysis of the prospects and metrics are coming into line
tp £5++
I do.... you are a STALKER with multiple - nicknames - one of them Maty
Now FO to CRL thread and argue with - Starmog - you B@stard person
Does anyone even know what he’s on about?
Stargate - try to make your own posting with ideas, it is never good to "copy and paste"
So far at 346p I am right on my assessment.
Selling here is clear evidence of traders disdain (ignorance) of what makes for value
I already own c£100k, but happy to double or treble that
Rsi, on daily and monthly below 50 which indicates bearish downtrend . Two month distribution price formation began November 2023, means plenty downside, still to come . Head and shoulders price formation from that distribution formation provides downside sp, target of 327.5. There is a long-term uptrend line, suggesting value at around 320. The disparity index, is supporting the negative view of the equity. Yesterday Japanese doji, high and low prices, delineate the parameters, for stops. If already holding sell, if sp, falls below the doji low. A close above yesterday doji high price is required for an speculation upward, although equity is bearish.
From the "UPS thread ......
