Fleccy , it was a general comment / update from the crypto space , yet you immediately hone in on how it can only be unrelated or negative for QBT .... you're obsessed with finding fault or the negative with all things QBT ... you cant let anything ride , just for its general content , without finding a negative connotation in relation to QBT ..... so very apparent!
De-fi is here to stay .... get over it !
Ethereum is a proof of stake token unlike BTC which is proof of work, QBT's methods are aimed at proof of work so don't apply to Ethereum. Although Ethereum is far more energy efficient than Bitcoin, I'm not sure why any of the Crypto's have a tradeable value since anyone, or any entity, can create their own Blockchain to do whatever's required.
Decentralised distributed ledgers will only be secure until they aren't, you can be sure bad actors are continually storing the decentralised blockchain's with a view to committing theft, or breaking the blockchain's once the technology's available to hack them. Even firewalled databases are open to attack by hackers, companies are continually fighting to secure their data and networks.
Because big money hijacked Crypto and decentralised Blockchain in general, it's hard to find content talking about the possible weaknesses.

The Ethereum ETF's approval by the SEC is a pivotal moment for the crypto market.
It promises to bring significant institutional investment and could propel Ethereum to new heights.
It further confirms mainstream adoption of Crypto !
I honestly couldn't guess how many rigs would be required to skew the probabilities when mining Bitcoin, but I'd guess a lot to meaningfully test QBT's software. The Nonce field is 32 bytes long, so I would guess the miners first cycle through all the possible Nonce bit combinations with their preferred transactions in the block, and if that doesn't work they might change or redistribute the transactions, effectively replacing the Block and starting again. Different miners might have different front end customised control software to run their operation's, how QBT's software would fit into those is anyone's guess.
I'm not trying to be antagonistic when I say I'm sceptical that QBT's software will work commercially outside of the lab, I believe they may be trying to achieve the impossible; But what do I know I'm not an expert on the subject, I'm just expressing my personal common sense based opinion which might be misplaced, time will tell.
...Fleccy, I think it must just be poor wording. But I'm surprised the company haven't come out and clarified, considering it's been misinterpreted a number of times, here and on YouTube/twitter etc..
Fleccy, I think it must just be poor
"mining BTC is a numbers game"
Realistically how many machines would QBT need access to in order to test in a difficulty window in order to mine at least 1 BTC?
Highly unlikely

Should have researched 1st
I watched the first short video and I didn't know how to interpret the comments around live testing on "One" mining rig with their methods compared to one mining rig without their methods. The reason I'm confused is because mining BTC is all about numbers and probabilities. Mining BTC is comparable to buying one lottery ticket vs buying thousands of lottery tickets, it's possible to win the jackpot with one lottery ticket but your chances increase dramatically if you buy thousands of tickets; I don't understand how one mining rig running QBT's methods, vs one mining rig without them, will reap reliable results on the BTC live network. A true test would be to run thousands of rigs on the live network using QBT's methods, and measure any performance improvement over time; The chances of one mining rig finding a winning hash is infinitesimal, whether or not it's running QBT's methods.
It maybe that QBT are testing using multiple rigs, but that isn't clear in the video, mining BTC is a numbers game they'd likely need a lot of rigs to prove their methods on the live BTC network.

Parker its Friday. No one really gives a flying to all this guff.
52 chats and 15 trades tells you we are not exactly going to make much of a difference before news.
Proof of the pudding and in he eating are the words that come to mind PP.
Way to much activity for a business that appears to be funded for a while to see people running for the hills.
Whilst realistic i still think there is a way to go here.
@Partypooper
Yes I agree, you will vanish on news with your concert party, probably return with the herd ramping team.
Combos
I traded this way back in the CLP days, that's why it was still on my radar.
It will be entertaining, but through experience the biggest mouths always vanish before you can say "i told you so"
"Method B works, next news, how far away is this?"
Interesting question, according to this https://youtube.com/shorts/6r06RD6dRRs?si=xMSI4X7cvpLkHwAI , they have been live testing for 4 months and according to this https://youtu.be/ObkZkcfan6Y?si=ZoLXoMXBO7eA4MP0 they will be installed on clients and generating revenue in 2024. 5/12 of the year gone, it feels incredibly ambitious for the 2nd video to still be true.
Again transparency from the company would be welcome.
Thrilled for you. Well done on your investment choice. Any chance GSA let you log off early so you can join the others down Spoons? That would be great.
"if the conspiracy nuts and under water investors want to know the motive for people on this platform when they call out a stock. itβs often guys that have lost money to some of these story-stocks and when they see the same situation again they want to call it what it is."
Thank god we have these experienced people around Party pooper! Without them and their constant barrage of repetition we would be left with positivity. This would leave simple folk to the clutches of those so overwhelmingly positive its frightening. They also keep regurgitating their alternative spin.
I am very much in the camp that all this activity means I may know whether my old Clear Leisure punt will pay off sooner rather than later.
Released mid March, an update on key areas mention would be great

A point was raised yesterday about QBT producing its own chips, The CEO states it has been 2 years work so is in line with what was announced back then! that should clear up the misinformation from the tedious bashers.
Lawyers passing term and documents, needs to be expanded on.
Method B works, next news, how far away is this?

I'm not invested here because it's a poor investment, I've put the money into CABP, a real business that makes money!
'I love quote I saw on reddit'
Thanks for that insightful and bar raising contribution PartyBot. Blockchain has clearly had its day, and world industry, be it health, finance, education, engineering and production are entirely wrong in trying to minimise duplication in their processes. I guess that's why you're not invested here. Anyway, have a good day, and spend those amazon tokens wisely π
As was mentioned earlier the company isn't helping matters by either not releasing information or releasing poorly worded communication, followed up with conflicting media interviews.
It would be good to get some transparency, for example how many machines is method B being tested on, what does that testing actually look like... Etc
As was mentioned earlier the company isn't helping matters by either not

Another member of the concert negative party.
Makes you wonder why the coordinated attack plan has been put into play, Connected parties, large buys above the ask earlier in the week, maybe I'm reading into this to much, no smoke without fire, lets see.
