Thanks, I did try checking the Aquis site earlier to see if that might be it but it seemed to be down at the time...
Timmit there were also 2 small trades on aquis by the looks of it.

I make the share volumes Dana quoted correctly both for GGP (yesterday only) and PRIM (last two days) at least as per LSE reported trades. What are we missing? You've obviously spotted something....
Dana hints at various things in various places.
1. There will be an overall reduction in directors salaries - these accounted for over half of the annual running costs of around £600k - so that and other economies should feed through straight to the bottom line.
2. PRIM have sold some, and maybe all, of their remaining stake in GGP, possibly at values somewhere near the high, so the company could be cashed up with somewhere in the region of £5M+ in the bank - useful if considering a strategic acquisition.
3. In the interims the company suggested a share buy back of up to 10% - there is no authority for this in the present AGM resolutions - but if the company is cash rich and undervalued would make sense.
4. There is no point in the "takeover" if it is just going to be business as before - the "movers and shakers" have built up around 25% shareholding here, so don't need big salaries to get their rewards.
5. This suggests some corporate action in the offing, on a perhaps more aggressive scale than previously.
6. All the attention has been on the GGP holding, but maybe more is going on in the background?
7. I'm disappointed by the recent fall - but could easily be reversed over a day or two - or even an hour or two given the "right" news.

I'm pretty sure a lot of researched readers would agree with you that the latest ramblings of a failed property developer now masquerading himself on the blogs as some sort a superior financial guru would indeed be seen as a load of old self opinionated TOSH... :-)
Yes agree that bookkeeper will be dissecting the data as you say
GLA
Barnyards What a load of self opinionated TOSH.
''better to play the ball rather than the man''
that's a nice old forum chestnut you've quoted there Timmit, but perhaps a more apt phrase (in this instance) would be :
in certain games one needs to play the man first and the ball second.... :-)
>>barnyards
Why not correct it with figures then? Better to play the ball rather than the man...:-)
financial consultant huh ?
WOW that's some 'disclosure' for someone who can't even get the trade volumes correct :-)
...Continued,
Yes, a TOTAL value of £18,164 worth of trades in TWO DAYS!
Well that makes us look a little bit illiquid to me, and the SP could move very quickly from here, but there are still many unknowns, which I believe will hold back much SP movement until we know what is happening.
Have a great weekend one and all, I shall be playing with cars. My latest toy is a rather tatty red 1990 Toyota Supra, but the engine seems to be perfect - it started first turn of the key after sitting in the corner of a car dealer's compound for over two years. With some tlc from a friend's fantastic bodywork/paintshop and a new leather interior, it will be something that the American GasMonkey would be proud of, and a nice addition to the toy cupboard that will show a decent profit when I get bored with it and need to make space for the next toy.
Have a great weekend, one and all, next week should be better.
Danax
Morning all, Apologies that I have been busy the last couple of days, I'm back now.
A disappointing finish to the week, you can blame me.
Let's have a look at how my predictions made on Wednesday at 7.03 am went. If you click on the 'reply' box you will see it at the bottom of the trail.
1. World Gold Price, I predicted $18.50 and it ended the week at $18.6125 so that was fairly close, well 0.6% out.
2. Greatland Gold share price. Closed at 20 pence. A bit of a shareholder rout since Wednesday, but buys and sells pretty evenly matched, but some of the trades marked buys are sells and vice versa.
Trades 2,653
Vol. Sold 18,148,155
Sold Value £4m
Vol. Bought 21,998,299
Bought Value £4m
So the closing GGP price was below my expectations.
I suspect that the Directors of PRIM may already have sold some or all of the GGP holding, so this may now be Academic.
3. The PRIM share price. Well, it looks like the market is sitting on its hands until there is a bit more certainty.
As a result, my end of week prediction fell a bit short, well short, in fact.
AS we all know, the current Board has proposed to appoint Rupert, Matt and Hedley as Directors.
THEY HAVE NOT BEEN APPOINTED YET. NOMAD IS DOING DUE DILIGENCE ON THEM, AS REQUIRED.
So we are nearly there, but not quite on the appointment of new Directors.
This is what I said on Wednesday morning;-
3. The PRIM share price. Prim has a small MCap, and the SP moves easily in change in supply and demand, as the MMs don't seem to carry a lot of stock, which makes the SP more volatile. There is also uncertainty as to whether the company still holds the GGP shares, and the current Board has sold part of the holding, which would pay their salaries for the next year and have left the rest to run. I suspect that they will have sold more by now, hopefully at the peak, locking in gains as cash.
In the interim, the existing Board can reinvest any realised funds wherever they like.
If they do reinvest any GGP profits, it will be very interesting to follow the money trail.
I think that a certain Bookkeeper will be over this like a rash. I certainly hope so!
Was my estimate an abysmal failure - hard to say, but there have been so few trades in the last couple of days, here are ALL of them

Update.
1. Gold price pretty much as predicted.
2. GGP shares now trading below anticipated range, I think that the Institutions will be buying hard today and we should see a SP rise.
3. PRIM share price is seriously undervalued at this level. Any buying will see rapid SP growth. New Board members will transform future growth prospects.
I see the current SP as a buying opportunity, and as soon as others do to, the SP will motor.

Good buying tomorrow as investors realise that this is now investable. ON target.
Two days to go, a lot can change......
Pokerchump, you asked me what the share price will be at the end of the week.
You are asking me to predict;-
1. The world gold price.
2. The Greatland Gold share price.
3. Buy and sell demand for Prim.
That's an easy one then.
Share prices are always driven by sentiment, and until there is Board change here, with the new Board being co-aligned with shareholders' aims, then there will be resistance to investing here, as other similar shares such as Starvest may be more investable. Of course, if (when) there is change, then the scenario will change enormously, so that is for the medium term.
1. Let's consider the world gold price. My feeling is that the negative sentiment may continue a bit, but it can change direction with ease if the event of global news. I am going for an £18.50 price for the end of the week.
2. The Greatland Gold SP has been the modern-day equivalent of gold-rush gold fever, and was getting seriously overbought. The corollary of that is that the Institutions appear to be taking positions as a pre-emptive strike to buy in early, should GGP become a component of one of the indices, which is likely, imho. IIs are very savvy and will have a target price in mind and rigorous buying criteria, and the exit of the short-term PIs shares will be bought up by them, in a controlled manner. This will add stability to the SP. I suspect that they will want to get in at the 21 to 22.5 range, but there are a lot of IIs that need to get in.
Taking everything into account, gazing into my crystal ball, and waving my magic wand, the answer is...............
4.2 pence to 4.3 pence with an upper range estimate of 4.4 pence. Interest in the share will pick up in the next couple of weeks
However, Dyor and aimho.
I hope that answers your question and helps you to understand how I look at share prices. I have read no books on the subject, I am only using commercial property valuation techniques, which is also about current and future income streams, and adopting capitalisation yields, depending on the quality and future potential.
Easy peasy. Innit?
According to IG - as we speak, GGP - 12.96%; SVE +14.07%; Prim +2.50%. I just don't get the lack of interest here.
Dana - you predicted 4.1p open - what's your end of play prediction and Friday SP close ?
ignore that..
GGP 28p now
GLA
was going to say back in the 25s,
GGP at 27.52p.
