Not for Spurs fan it isn’t or Arsenal. Yes I’m a Chelsea fan obviously
One thing we forgot to ask - definition of imminent!
I came away slightly more confident that the company is heading in the right direction.
If he fails to deliver the test results within two weeks and does not appoint the COO in due course then any good work that was gained from last nights meeting will be wasted.
I’m sticking for a while longer
Dazed , were you there last night , no
It was a positive meeting l but one has to be realistic about working in Africa and in covid tines . Many people are not realistic .
Look at the mains on here ,
1. Rainy season coming , prem will start drilling . No during the meeting he rang zulu , it was raining but now three drill rigs running . George confirmed rainy season , no problem
2. People on here were going on about third drill will not be there till Xmas , we’ll operating already.
3. People said delay getting third drills hampers dfs date of completion. George said not true
4. Placing coming very soon , not true
Everyday negative vibes put on here that are unfounded and
Totally agree with you Bickmaster84, we shouldn't buy any more stake in MNH until it can be proven that the mine does generate some profit. GR as it's best as usual. He just show you a carrot and everybody did follow him. Just check his last visit to London and how guys were so happy with him. We know the result now.
Snowking,
You say there is no point in arguing about the original MNH stake. Have a look back at the claims which were made and the BARA report which valued the asset at $20m. It is interesting how wrong they appear to have been. Otjozundu has a chequered history and has failed on previous ocassions. Just look at Shaw River. I imagine Stephen Dattels picked it up on the cheap after Shaw River, hasn't been able to make it work and is now looking to sell on his interest. I really dont think PREM should touch it with a bargepole. If it was a valuable asset he would take it to the market rather than seeking to do a deal with PREM. So it is relevant any you cant brush previous transactions under the carpet just like that.
Snowking - I wasn't arguing about MNH, I was stating fact. Past performance is a very good indication of future performance!
There is no point arguing about the original Mnh stake , that’s nowt to do with current issues .
The important message was prem is getting a lot of interests for offers for money . He just needs to wait a little and pick the best one . Or you can worry all year about a placing .
GR has in the past said no placing in a live interview on a thursday and then done a placing at 4.30pm on the friday
Snowking - there is no defence in GR buying a stake in MNH in the first place. Clearly, he didn't do due diligence and has had to bail them out. To then suggest that he's going to buy the rest of it just smacks of utter disdain for shareholders. It is indefensible!!!
And thanks for the clarification that he didn't come to the UK to do a placing - that clearly does not mean that he won't do a placing... he didn't have to do the last one from London, did he?
Mistestes , I see you and your cronies did not turn up at the meeting , no balls
theres always one.
oh waiting for the other login to high five you.
Bickmaster , whilist I agree with what you said two things to note .
1. I disagree with your conclusion on mnh , criticising prem for ove paying on the 19% . Time has moved on , manganese has fallen , so at that time prem paid money for 19% but now it is a different worlds. So if prem end up paying say $3 m rather than $8 m that is good thing not bad .
So I think your emphasis is unfair .
2. Placing , George said he came to uk not to do a placing , there was no talk of it and with discussions with groups of investors he confirmed that at present no plans , but the discussion was about getting dfs paid for by others .
I came away very happy that I can see better communication , plans for a coo , offers been made for zulu at an early stage , plans for Rha . I am very happy with my position and will be adding today
Excellent summary. Seems unbiased. Hasnt changed my sentiment towards GR. It does tell me though what i should do with my position in here in the short term.
Cheers for that. GR should get you out for interviews!
