Could be doing worse Norsk- I was in CHAR and got out cos I saw one too many interviews with Larry and thought he was a total muppet. Went up four fold soon after when he was replaced by Adonis.
I only have two shares now, PRD and RBW (where Adonis is the major shareholder) He's really a mining man and I can't help think that PRD's and RBW's fortunes will be entwined, with CHAR also being in.
No evidence at all, just a kind of vague spiritual trust as to how the universe works and a few very tenuous associations. I'm a dreamer but so were many of history's most successful and wealthy men.
Anyway, welcome aboard, strong hands I hope, that is what makes PRD potentially so powerful, a lot of shares in the hands of true believers. Almost every day, someone unearths an article or evidence from an old RNS that adds pieces to the jigsaw and makes you want to hold for £1 or more..because you now it is coming, just like night follows day or the next full moon. We have that much certainty..
Thanks, I'm hoping for more luck than my other investments (if I can call them that). Long term CHAR holder/sufferer.
Morning all,
I promised myself a day off, but somethings you just can’t put down, PRD is top of the list in that regard.
I have found an article released by the eu in 2019, quite lengthy titled
“The potential for CCS and CCU in Europe”.
This paragraph literally blows The Irish Greens argument for not using natural gas to produce Hydrogen out of the water, instead they keep pushing for electrolysis generated Hydrogen by offshore wind turbines, which in this eu released document categorically states using this method of Hydrogen production produces 7.5kg more CO2 than natural gas.
Paragraph 3.4 Accelerated decarbonisation through hydrogen from natural gas with CCS
“In the EU, in 2016, average electricity emissions per MWh were 296 kg CO2.29 Production of hydrogen from electricity with such a CO2 intensity would result in an emission rate of 15 kg CO2 per kg of hydrogen30. If the hydrogen was produced from natural gas with average European upstream and midstream CO2 emissions combined with CCS, the emission rate would be 2 kg of CO2 per kg produced hydrogen. CO2 emissions are therefore 7.5 times lower for hydrogen produced from natural gas with CCS. Outlooks from the European Commission’s strategic long-term vision31 and IRENA’s Outlook for Europe32 give a corresponding ratio in the range of 4.6 to 4.9. It can therefore be assumed that emissions from hydrogen production from grid average electricity will be above that from natural gas with CCS well beyond 2030”.

I am all for the decarbonisation of the planet in which we reside and we all look to our “Leaders” for the correct route in decision making but for the greens to promote the “green Hydrogen agenda” when the blue Hydrogen scenario is more environmentally friendly simply to promote their personal or political agenda is morally wrong.
I do hope this information is known and can or will be be used to further our energy proposals for Ireland and safeguard the future of generations to come.
AIMHO of course.

Mick...’time will tell’ indeed, ..... and the clock is ticking :)
I guess the discussions about the future of Kinsale are like a big game of poker. Time will tell if Kinsale becomes a CO2 store, LPG terminal or if Ram Head drilling gets the go ahead.
It looks like they’ve already got plans for Kinsale Head:
http://www.ervia.ie/who-we-are/carbon-capture-storage/
Indeed Nicodemus - would be quite staggering if PRD could get Kinsale flowing gas again with CO2 Injection. I think the ‘why not Ireland?’ was related to CCS rather that EOR (EGR would be the case for Ireland). I don’t think there is a chance of returning commercial production to Kinsale via any means,
but it could play a key strategic role in the narrative for other purposes...
Evening Locnez, yes that's true, just got carried away there, no need on a freshly drilled well that's flowing nicely is there. Flows too quickly and the well will collapse.
Where I think it could come into play is Ireland. Mk or maybe Mick mentioned Paul's earlier remark today 'why not Ireland'. In T &T, we managed to get a depleted well flowing from 0 bopd to 20 -50 bopd. I was thinking if we could offer to get wells Kinsale flowing again before the infrastructure is destroyed it would look far more impressive than extending well life in Corrib. Something from nothing, magical, miraculous Lazarus rising from the grave, lepers leaping etc...
The amount of oil I expect BPC to find, they could probably get by with a Sodastream :)
Hi Nicodemus, I don’t intend to quell your admirable enthusiasm, and you might be talking long term yourself, but I don’t think BPC will need to have any EOR considerations for quite some time on wells being drilled now. I assume that in the event of success the primary production phase will last some years and only then for secondary/tertiary production will EOR requirements kick in? I’m beyond excited for what is on the cards on all the fronts here...
Welcome NorskBear,
Good to have you aboard!
You would clearly appear to have good judgement...
BPC about to start drilling in T & T and I believe that as per T & T regulations will now need to be EOR compliant. It could be a multi well programme if all goes well, unless Harry Potter and Eyton the 'Storeyteller' have been very busy on the quiet, they don't have the EOR technology in house so will need to buy in....
Mine also showed as a sell. But no big deal as these different slices of cake are going to be tasty
This might help explain why buys and sells show incorrectly. SEAQ, SETS and SETSmm.... I’ve read it and still don’t fully understand
https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/81/idiots-guide-to-the-london-stock-exchanges-setsmm-0379.html
Correct. One of them is mine. Just jumped onboard here, looks like exciting times ahead.
The buy price is 15.2 so what looks like sells are buys
Indeed Nico, there are other lesser touted fireworks in PRD's range of pyrotechnics.
Remember PG's CCS comment "Why not Ireland?".
The domino effect on every project just seems limitless.
PRD has to be the most power packed micro cap stock out there.
Mk- I'm honestly now thinking that Ireland could be more lucrative in regards to.our licence for Corrib South/Rams Head than LNG. I'm still thinking the LNG FSRU project will bring in huge dividends but could well be dwarfed by what a successful offshore drilling campaign could have to offer.-
to PRD; lots of cash
to Ireland; energy security
Is the only way to describe owning PRD stock at the moment.
Where will the inevitable first spark come from?
The exciting potentially huge drill in Morroco?
The exciting potentially huge CCS EOR contracts in T&T?
The exciting potentially huge LNG Ireland?
All three are getting nearer every day.
Have a great weekend all.
