thanks antharry!
lets see what happens. I think long term, pfc is a stonking buy by the way. but I like making the most of movements both ways, not just up
absolutely - but you don't need to be perfect. just need to be right 6/10 times.
DB fair enough. You seem to be know that none of us is perfect and all the success to you in all your trades - except this one.
cheapsharesboy - welcome to your opinion.
you could well be right!
i am feeling a bit ****y to be fair as riding high off a particularly juicy dax short so may be a bit reckless.
gla.
It's a very poorly timed trade against much bigger buyers.
It's inevitable a losing trade I'm afraid
DarrenBuffer
The shorter buy backs are shares to be taken off the market and handed back to the Institutional Investor who lent them....
Where do you see all the shares coming from to take it back down...sufficiently to make your bet a certainty ?
Are you expecting any "non shorter buys" to just sell into the market ?...is that going to be enough ?
shrewd - I have a guaranteed limit set at 135 so worst I can lose is £30k ish which I'll suck up and move on likea big boy
Darren, fair play to you. You must have b4lls of steel on £3k per penny drop.
I wouldn't sleep lol. If an RNS drops saying SFO taking no further action your losses could become collosal. Be careful man.
I don’t like anyone losing money and honestly see 130s easy this week - there are so many better options out there!!
another £1k a point at 126....
lets see.
Have no issues with instinct - pulled out of tlw to get in here at 104 average and am looking at NCYT at present. But Darren believe this is a mistake as the upside is so much higher than downside and there are so many better options out there. But hats off - you pay your money.......,
Hi Buffer
Fair play, I was thinking funny time to short but instinct really can work in this game and you enter it from what ever angle you chose.
Respect
DarrenBuffer,
happy to hear how you see it... .if you want to take a stab at a short per point , in view of the decent rise...have a go...
" and I've put my money where my mouth is "
good for you...
better than those blabber mouths who sit on the sidelines wanting ever and ever cheaper price before they have the guts to buy
hey waltortoise - who said I was half-decent?
I might be full decent or full rubbish!
I am very much an instinct trader so I do get things wrong. but I also get some things right. and I wouldn't still be doing this twenty years later if I didn't get more right than wrong.
may be wrong here - who knows? but do I think I'll get an opportunity to get out for decent profit at some point in the next week or so? yes. and I've put my. money where my mouth is.
other recovery plays if you're looking for similar opp - CEY and BAB. think they're both looking good in near future and downside is very limited with both.
Hi Buffer your tag is reminiscent of Warren Buffet and that's verrrry clever! I don't believe you shorted at this time, any half decent short invester/borrower would at least let things stabilise a bit before you pick an exit. Otherwise you'll end up more of a Duffer than a Buffer!
Good to see Stockready back diagnosing mental illness though, we need a bit of madness, helps the rest of us sane! :)
