May be advisable to off load a chunk of shares if worried, as I read that a cash call is still needed from the following. ....... “We are experiencing some near-term headwinds as we complete a number of EPC projects in our relatively small, mature portfolio, which will impact E&C’s 2022 performance. ''
This may have further to fall after the AGM today.
£700K Buy pops up
Doh!
Algos cashing in on negativity and then a £770k pops up at 9.03am. Someone doesn't thinks its all bad news.

ive took 4,000 more & happy to do so .... medium to long play will do very nicely
I'm usually a bed wetter and hate it when I see an sp plunge, but I think a fair few on here have averages sub 120 and I was always going to hold until the earliest 2023 when subject to the turnaround materialising and certain covenants, dividends may be reinstated.
He referred to significant value for shareholders in the future and a robust outlook.
If this was a serious profit type warning it would have plummeted by 15-20%.
1 or 2 decent contract announcements in H2 and it will catapult this north.
I wouldn't be surprised to see some large II stakes at these levels given the forward looking statement.
But I will always be a bed wetter especially when I am still so down on certain other stocks!!!
Been in this stock for so long.
Prior to this update its the most upbeat I have been for a long time.
I have sold for now. If and its a big if I get the opportunity to buy back in the low 130's I will for 2023 expected improvements.
I won't post again on here unless I buy back.
Wishing everyone all the best
If he had announced that PFC were making a decent profit now but the future prospects were not looking so good the SP would have dropped. So when he announces things are a bit tight at present but look OK in the medium term, the price drops.
The stock market is so full of sh*t.
I read the RNC as being quite positive but WTF do I know?
Ho hum

Bed wetters panic selling here. Nothing of any great significance in that RNS. Will get blown away by an ADNOC contract. Buying opportunity as i see it!
Keep posting Paddy mate, all these newcomers bandwagon jumping, in and out at every rise and fall, keep calm folks and carry on!
Anyone following Malcys blog would read today that he still believes there is long term value here. His blog mentions the contract award today and doesn’t mention, at all, todays shenanigans.
In the end a big storm in a teacup over a thruppence price drop. Bed wetters can throw their sodden nappies away now. Tomorrow's another day. Patience & calm will bring reward here!
Yes i've been in this since the Lufkin dips. Made a good few bob here last year loading up in the 90s & bailing out in the 140s. Got back in after SFO resolution & got a bit shafted by the capital raise falls but have loaded up as much as possible sub 110 so now have a very large amount of these now which i'm not going to even consider selling in the short term. Now all the headwinds are gone here IMO this should easily be 250+ before too long. This share needs an ADNOC/MENA contract RNS to drop. That is the catalyst which will get this flying & i feel that one will be coming in the not too distant future!
Wait for the big UT at close!
Quite right Paddyboy but when we see:-
Vol Sold 3,044,667
Vol Bought 3,509,793
and SP down 6% it just does not make sense!
Yeah I’ve commented on this before. Been following it for a while, been a buyer since early 2020 all the way down from £2 to 90p - long a big chunk - think this is a great cyclical recovery play but it’s also very high risk - reflected in the spx’s elevated volatility, high even for the sector because of the Co’s high propensity to surprise on the downside.
Absolutely hate the fact the co were so desperate for finance last year that they did that high yield bond issue - it’s implied default probability is very high, surprised me even given how bad things got pre sfo settlement. It might not be AIM but from a risk perspective it wasn’t far off pre-SFO settlement, a mighty fall from grace for a Co that once traded at £18 ps and could count in the support of successive PMs.
What about you? You’ve been in and out of this a fair bit no? Now I’m guessing you’re long…:/
with all due respect Pablo....this company raised money last year.
PFC was at this price 2 weeks ago & everyone was cheering & clapping. Get real folks. This is the stock market. No straight line rises here!
'when you consider the history'? Pablo are you invested here? i've never seen you comment before. This company did a capital raise last year. The first in it's history. This is a FTSE250 business, not an AIM lifestyle gimmick!
Ok, was speculating what might be behind sharp move down on no news. Could simply be a baseless rumour of a negative disclosure at AGM tomorrow.
Its volatile but so is the entire sector (Wood is up 2% today) so this looks stock specific. It’s facile to shout about manipulation without explaining how that would work in practice.
Also, a surprise capital raise is not so daft when you consider the history and that the Co is paying almost 10% on a 600m bond (one obvious reason to seek some form of refinancing involving equity capital). Remember, when pfc achieved a much better than expected resolution to the sfo case, the spx almost doubled to above £2 per share but got hammered a day or two later when the co revealed it needed to do a big capital raise, which hadn’t been well flagged in the public domain
it's dropped 10p from what is the highest price it's been for last 8 months or so. Don't forget it was £1 a couple months ago. This investing lark really doesn't suit some bed wetters!
Lots of newbies in on this share i think. 10-15p move in SP is nothing on a share like this. Can move 40-60p & more in one day. No panic here just manipulation going on by larger holders. Capital raise?? WTF do people invest without even reading anything about a company's recent history?? LOL. Relax & chill. This is ultimately going only one way. NORTH!
Maybe it’s something to do with windfall tax about to be announced
Bloody loads of them!
Do you see any of these;

Although ' said ' to be no longer used
No RNS on director dealings. Comforting I suppose.
