Plus - They have also started their sampling and mapping from the CL Project. Another positive
This RNS is positive. Drilling has been completed and although a delay the issue has now been resolved, so again a positive as can be seen from the market reaction.
Its a stepping stone in the right direction ticked off.
IGLU...like your thinking mate ;-))
I am happy for company to drill as much as they can right uptil rainy season. Then we can sit back and enjoy the assay results. Obviously prefer results much sooner.
Also need an update on Senala. How far has IAMGOLD got upto?
IGLU ..lol . Great positivity .!!!!
I think you forgot to add it will be the richest vein of underground gold ever found anywhere in the world and with in six months ORR shares will be valued at £10 per share . . Beat that MR positive.
It's delayed because there is too much gold in the samples and the guys at the sorting facilities need to bring in machinery to lift them...too heavy you see :)
All looking good here despite slight delays outside of company's control.
Central Cameroon work underway also is great.
ORR active on both fronts now.
My guess is that the multi element testing will be into rare earth elements as there are a few research papers on rees in Cameroon.
The problem with rmm is that it is underground mining rather than open pit, as well as Canada and having to pay the miners appropriate wages.
Cameroon, and Senala, and Djibouti will be open pit. Less costly in areas where the standard wage is less too.
So we have the RNS confirming why the assay results haven't been issued and also confirmation that all the drilling is completed. Plus the info on the sampling for Central Cameroon.
Hence nothing bad that that I had been pondering over, again like Kutzz, I apologise, but appreciate the board issuing an RNS to clear things up. - If you are listening TL, later in the month it would be nice to get a progress report on IAMGOLD Senala drilling too, in order to confirm drilling will be done by end of Q2 and results can be expected in Q3.
However a genuine question for the guys that know their stuff:-
What typically is the reason for the multi-element analysis?
I started to ask lots of closed questions with my own hypotheis about this, but decided asking the open question is better as I honestly don't know enough.
Thank you in advance to some of the smart ones out there.
Roll on Q2, here's to some good weather and good results!
Haha funny bud, we ll see where RMM ends up in 12 months pal , im not getting into an argument i want this to do well as the next bloke !!
Just stating how i see it going , only my opinion il hold my hands up should we not see mid 0.6 by end of the wk
Cheers
Called up 7% premarket
Ignore leathal, his call on rmm was a dog.
It is unbelievable how pessimistic you are on this news. I am positive on this news and having time to wait.
longer the wait the lower it will trend IMO.
Id be amazed if we didnt see mid 0.6 over the nxt wk or two, just wish i had funds to top up
This should not cause a dip, on the contrary. We have dropped way too much already in my own biased opinion. I think i wrote about this last week the company is damned if they do report news like this and damned if they don't.
I believe this news is necessary how many conspiracy theorists have for the last few weeks speculated that there is little to no gold and the assays are bad, when this states that they clearly don't have the results yet. So this should draw a line under this type of behaviour for now.
Secondly the CEO bought some and is now willing to go on the share talk show with those guys when the ASSAYs are out there. Any comms and interview from the company to date have been very bullish, I just think we need to get some of that sentiment back. I fully appreciate that may not come until the results are back.
If we stay here or drop a little I am definitely going to add this week. I just need to work out what I need to sell to take more here.
News not next
They also slipped in the next of multi element testing. I wonder what that's about. I also wonder what any hand held scanner would pick up.
As hardy said everything is right on track.
I’d like to apologise to the board for jumping to conclusions, claiming the results would be rubbish and that they were being held back. It’s funny what you can convince yourself of.
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. Good boxing and good f1.
Because market doesnt like delays
It was predicted that the next RNS would be confirmation that the drilling programme has been completed, which was confirmed today.
Results are still on track to be reported “before” the end of Q2 as previously announced.
Sampling at the central license location has also begun.
Everything on track...
Why should it cause a dip it's not bad news and its not ORRs fault. Everytime there has been a dip it has never gained back anything regardless of what the news has been. Is it any wonder people whine.
Happy Monday All
Will certainly cause a further dip in sp i know that much ! Annoying but a great oppertunity to avg down i guess
Yeah I think it’s a pretty reasonable explanation. A little late possibly - but they maybe lived in hope of getting the results back each day - like we’ve been doing! No doubt will cause some whining on here though!
Delayed assays . But it’s an update . Not bad
