Any Friday evening or Monday morning would do rocket rise...imo.
Let's see whether it comes before two weeks or not.
Exciting times awaits for sure...!
Bhargav I believe we could have news in the next 2 weeks. Exciting times.
From July 19 RNS:
Start of Exploration Activities in Colombia:
Exploration activities at the Anzá project have been initiated within the scope of the Exploration Agreement with Venture Option with Newmont Colombia SAS, a subsidiary of Newmont Goldcorp (“Newmont”). The Company has already relogged 2,400 metres of the drill core from an area north of APTA. This is the area where a new broad zone of gold mineralization covering a continuous strike of 450m was discovered by Orosur during the 2018 drilling campaign. Geophysical and geochemical reinterpretation is now planned at the Anzá project. The objective of this initial activity, which requires no field work, is to update the geological model, in conjunction with Newmont.
APTA, Charrascala and Guairamala are ready to drill.
Sept 20 RNS- NEWMONT confirmed on-going payment and interest support to develop ANZA.
I expect...NEWS of Newmont/ Omi to finally resume the exploration........hopefully, sometime soon.
Its well overdue as it is and I confidently believe patient LTHs will be rewarded for every penny they've invest in here.
Tick tock...
Tick tock...
Good luck.
Very good week with price staying strong. Have a good weekend all.
I can imagine well overdue fireworks of 200-400% on good week to consolidate 'welcome to drilling' here on BIG push day we all have been waiting here for so long ....
Two years ago, we were 13p....things have moved a bit since...as we know, with Uruguay settlement, Gold and Newmont in uptrend, CG sold for Canadian 1.4m(£840mil), NM's payment and recent RNS confirming interest backed by funding.
And so on...
NM's current break even is estimated 14p according to a sensible poster on our BB....200-400% can take the Sp from base 5p to somewhere in between 15-25p.
And base 6p to 18- 30p. Average of lower figures which is approx 5.4p, NM entry point comes to 16.5p
15p, is a rock bottom starter in my opinion.
That's good enough for my own analysis to keep adding more!
GL.
:-)
Next move UP won't be a meagre 50%..........but 200-400% imo.
I hope the RNS land on any Monday morning to see sustained rise over a week...14th, 21st, 28th...whatever.
And then, it won't go down like what we have seen for many months...!
BECAUSE..............LET THE DRILLING BEGIN.
GL.
Simply shaking the weak holders out. They know it will make sharp moves.
It's incredible… all the time the price goes up with good news it fall down after few days… it's impossible to reach a reasonable level in this way
Tight spread, MMs needs this to handle what's to come...and it won't be single digit exercise. Well overdue exploration should resume anyday...and I'm glad to add more.
GL.
Bought a few more back this morning .lets see how much lower it will drop . Another buy for me if we hit 5 p
Added a few, each dips are bonus at this stage imo.
Back in Blue, 6.49p paid.
Agreed, great spread this morning.
Best spread I've seen in ages...adding more.
Bharg ,heres hoping .still looking to sub 6 p for buying back .getting close now .
Rise on next News won't be meagre 50%!
MMs get to accumulate this will help in the next big push which is yet to come..
The ball is rolling in many fronts...!
Hi Karl,
I remember your name here and its good to hear you're still with us :)
I'm little more aggressive then you probably, not only come what may....but I'll keep adding all the way till I see many folds or lose it all :) Currently hold over 1m golden tickets!
I was similarly in GGP since .36p days and in 3.5yrs, I've seen it grow over 40 folds return to my first purchase. I still hold a little. But, unfortunately I sold most of it when NM walked away, I'll stay here till Dec 22. And I believe this could produce greater return too.
I've done my due diligence, read and analyse different style to probably most others here..and I'm convinced to say that things will look different here from now on, especially in the 4th quarter after Newmont have decided to continue to work with the Anza project.
Brad George, CEO of Orosur, commented:
“We have long valued Newmont as both partner and major shareholder, and we are delighted
with their decision to continue to work with us on the Anzá Project”
Apta, Charrascala and Guaimarala are ready to resume the exploration to begin with. I agree, Charrascala may not seem very attractive, but, I trust Newmonts due diligence, commitment and continue to pay up and recent RNS confirms that they will continue to do so. I remember, Ignacio said in the AGM 2018 meeting that they're also keen on Jesuitas.
In AGM 2019 he said, they'll have to switch gears from Sept2020?
I know what you mean, if we had more options then just Anza. But, look at GGP, they've several licences, but only one
project in which Newcrest is drilling have produced such delightful multifold return for investors. We are in much better position in my opinion, we know grades seems attractive, we know NM have already done their due diligence and drilling will expose more in coming times. So, it is Ok, in fact I read between lines, Ceo have not sold his stake, creditors won't sell
it either at this point...........very positive signs for me.
Check it out- https://www.orosur.ca/investor-center/shareholder-information
As far as your query about Uruguay is concerned, its a closed chapter now and it won't happen again.
Again, I read between the lines, as soon as OMI realised the interest of Newmont, they took strategic decision
to close it down, which has paved a way for Newmont to take the charge of Anza exploration and probably take over before Dec22(?). Time will tell.
First 2 year, with relatively low commitment, it was expected to have slow start(considering 12 yr contract) whilst OMI
resolves the issues with Uruguay and NM with merger and acquisition(Now NM Goldcorp).
Sept 2020 is the time for the change and it'll in coming quarter to my research, analysis, tech reading, common sense,
speculative punt...all combine...and yes, with lots of patience along with a few sleepless nights in between.
Bullish or foolish? I don't think there is a room for any let down in my opinion. NM are not here for FUN.
Hope my dire contribution
Admire your bullishness bhargav. Been in this for years. A perennial disappointment. Is it going to change now? Hope so.
Whats your view on Charrascala? The initial 3000m scout drilling back in 2018 did not yield significant grades from memory. Exploration is fraught with dangers but I intend to hold my 500k shares come what may. Im prepared to lose the lot. Have been for years.
OMI need a second string in their bow IMHO. They are totally dependent on one project. Maybe they could reach a deal with their creditors and restart mining in Uruguay.
Apologies, the link for Newmonts August 2020 Investor Presentation is as below-
https://www.newmont.com/investors/events-and-presentations/default.aspx
(Page 28 to be specific)
Yes...September have started to deliver what so many sensible posters here, genuine investors have seen ahead of the curve
(unlike some"Guru"):
And I believe it is just a start on new beginning for much more promising News to follow this month and beyond.
Early signs were spotted in the June 2020 Corporate Presentation as below-
https://www.orosur.ca/files/FINAL-June-2020-Corp-Presentation-25_june_2020.pdf
Significant change of the pace- And opportunity of significant re-rating:
• Newmont have invested approx. US$5 million in OMI
and the Project so far with a further US$0.5 million
receivable in September 2020.
• Significant change of pace: From September 2020,
Newmont are contracted to spend minimum US$4
million/ Year in the ground (compared to US$1
million / year in last 2 years)
Backed up by the interest commitment of NEWMONT as expected via RNS, Sept 3rd:
https://www.orosur.ca/files/Orosur-Mining-Inc.-Colombia-Update-3-Sept-2020.pdf
It clearly says- Orosur Mining Inc. (“Orosur” or the “Company”)
(TSX/AIM:OMI) announces that it has been informed by Newmont Colombia S.A.S.
(“Newmont Colombia”) a subsidiary of Newmont Corporation (NYSE:NEM), that it intends to
continue to exercise its rights and obligations with regard to the Anzá gold project in Colombia
(the “Anza Project”) under the terms of the Exploration Agreement with Venture Option (the
“Agreement”) signed and announced in September 2018.
This was also expected from the Newmont's from my research of Investors presentation August 2020 as below:
https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?ShareTicker=OMI&share=Orosur-Mining&thread=EC61B754-4D5A-4B97-8691-9A802A46D4CA&reply=true
What next?
"In the 3rd and 4th years of Phase 1 of the Agreement, Newmont Colombia will be required to
spend a total of US$8 million in qualifying expenditure on the Anzá Project to acquire a 51%
ownership interest."
I expect News flow of Uruguay update, AIF to clear some bad vibes spread by a non investor here for 2 years,
and most importantly looking forward to see a big push we have all been waiting for long, NM commencement of
exploration as number of sites like APTA, Charrascala and other are ready and there is confirmed drilling going on
within close proximity by other firm.
Plus outlook of Colombia land of Mining as below:
https://mineriaencolombia.anm.gov.co/images/Presentaciones/Colombia--LADU-2018-Final-presentation.pdf
Hope to add more to my ever growing portfolio as soon as I can.
Best wishes, for genuine holders, I won't be here for any other reason.
Bhargav
This is your chance to get in on the next GGP style project.
Tirer 1 potential.
Higher grades than GGP .
Newmont to progress.
Shares in a big newmont mine for 6 m cap.
No dilution .
Hardly any warrants .
Only directors with options that will be taken shortly.
Newmont commit big news
I'm next to my pc, ready to click more buy button. News will eventually work it's magic and multifold return is written all over the Omi-NM Anza partnership. imo.
Good luck all.
Nice one bhargav. Should be a very good day for OMI at long last.
