The following doc also update yesterday, gives an overview of the evaluation stage of all tests.
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/assessment-and-procurement-of-coronavirus-covid-19-tests/coronavirus-covid-19-serology-and-viral-detection-testing-uk-procurement-overview
Indicates that out of 102 validations that have been concluded or paused, only 17 have been validated. So thats 85 either failed or paused. 4 are currently being evaluated or validated, and another 15 are in early stages.
So 85 failed or paused
4 currently being evaluated
15 early stages.
given how long the mologic test has been around, it can hardly be in early stages. We know that its not passed evaluation. So that leaves it in the 85 that are failed or paused, or 4 that are being evaluated. The odds don't look great.
The whole rats herd are staying in their nest today and while they did deramp it diwn people in here if sold for lose money is their mistake. How bad it is when they make up story and constant bang on head to bring down share. The game is not start yes and the contact value is 347 millions
some people are so opposed to seeing potential bad news that it just goes straight over their head.
The Mologic test is not on a list of tests, published yesterday by uk gov, that have passed phase3a validation. Development and scale up of that test was finished in Decemeber, and it was CE-ed by mologic. It was trialled before that at Heathrow and other places. So the final version of the test has been available for 4 months to be evaluated by Porton down.
ODX shareholders are under the assumption that any day now, the mologic test will be picked by the same uk gov to make 2M a week. That list now makes that selection look increasingly unlikely.
ODX have spent months TT that test (not complete). If they have to start TTing another test, then given ODXs history of TT, it'll be Jul or Aug before a single antigen LFT test is delivered to uk gov. And good luck in selling the visitect rebrand commercially, why would someone buy it when there are around 20 others that have passed portdon down evaluation ?
I think TWatcher has invested in the new Super League!
"Who is the one person who always likes TWatcher posts, Computer909 or JAdam?"
I can say it wasn't me, news of no Mologic approval and possible manufacturing a chinese test, certainly nothing to like on that !
Very positive again Twatcher .. You do make me laugh
the bigger news from that list is that the Mologic test is not on it.
Who is the one person who always likes TWatcher posts, Computer909 or JAdam?

actually I said your brain, self-reporting ?
TWatcher - ‘goes up your nose nearly into your brain’
I know your talk some ****e, but I’ve reported you for trying to convince people you have a brain - totally out of order!
Innova have only passed 3A of porton Down in September of last year.
They still needed emergency use authorisation from MHRA in December which now appears to be no longer current.
isn't the innova test still the one that nearly goes right up your nose nearly into your brain, which isn't acceptable for the new DPS.
It would be comical after the 100s ans 100s of posts on here declaring it to be a crappy 'chinese' test rather unsavoury overtones, that odx makes money by replicating it !
TWatcher - Take the rest of the year off!
“ t could be 'interesting'... ODX might end up making the Innova test.”
More chance of making 2m scotch pies than those. WTF!
Innova no longer on exceptional use list either
1,113 posts and still nowhere near the point as the day you 1st started.!
TWATcher have a day off mate..
It could be 'interesting'... ODX might end up making the Innova test.
updated 21st of April (yesterday). No mention of Mologic, or GAD. given the Mologic test has been around since well before Christmas, when it was CE-ed by mologic, is it even being tested ?, has it failed to make the grade, please gawd not another poor ODX choice.
"The MHRA List of medical devices given exceptional use authorisations was Updated on 20 April 2021
It looks like the Innova LFT kit, which the UK government has relied upon this past six months or so has been cancelled and the contract expires 22nd June 21."
I'm afraid not. The updated Innova test has been through the PHE Porton Down assessment process and passed. That means they will no longer need to rely of an EUA but will get authorisation from MHRA. The scope of that authorisation has yet to be announced.
That's the thing. I don't think the news of Innova's contract expiring has hit the market yet, as everywhere you look their product is mentioned. Their needs to be a replacement test and soon.
We all know that it's coming to us.. Question is when and who has the nerves/patient to be here.
Crikey. I wonder who they're going to get to produce LFTs now the Innova contract comes to an end.
