Thank you Halma for encouraging me to buy Halma at £2699 :)
Interesting that the majority of analysts recommend buying OCDO & 1 even outperform!
Ocado bought proportionally more of our products last week than any other supermarket.. I can feel another tentative purchase coming on
How do I block people's excretive noise when they don't even own any shares? lol
Discern hi,
So many words, why not use 3 sentences?
Halma, Best of luck with your investing
Discern - Thanks for posting. Thoughtful insights from a different perspective, great to read. We will know in time but like you I feel Ocado shares are good value currently.
Over half of Ocado's products are recyclable according to Which, which I believe is more than any other UK supermarket. My Co goes to great lengths to protect the planet & this was one of the main reasons we wanted them selling incognito® as all of our biocide packaging is sustainable-source sugarcane. (Apart from being easily recycled This plastic absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere!) Green credentials like this & EVs are becoming an increasingly important factor because of the latest climate change reports.
There's a lot of negativity surrounding OCDO with many selling their shares (If they ever owned any in the first place!) like sheep, albeit the fundamentals are good. It never ceases to amaze me how short-sighted sheep can be.
I sold half my holding around 2800 releasing a tidy profit. I've since reinvested it all back in because at these prices it represents great value.
Another share I stumbled across recently is CORA gold which has already made me money. It dipped a bit yesterday probably because of the gold volatility so I might buy a few more. I'd be interested to hear what more experienced investors have to say.
I'd like to wish all of you, the very best with your investing, especially Ocado.
I've decided my own time on here is now done, be kind and keep up the good work.
Haha, That is a childish statement owl, often people who point at others are mirroring, and the words they use describe themselves.
Now, stick to the subject of the board, get on with your life and stop with the name calling, it’s not a good look.
Life teaches us many things, one of which is being humble.
I don't find you interesting NH, just a bit sad and bitter.
If we get a little bit closer to £17 that'll be the time for another 1000, level off abit and then hope some momentum is forthcoming, fingers crossed.
Owls im pleased you find my activities of interest to you, I am such an exciting person it’s sometimes difficult to be me.
You are a nosey owl, perhaps you would like to explain why you find me so interesting, just to boost my ego further?
Touched a nerve NH.
Perhaps you can explain why you never comment on the 31 shares you own but post hundreds of times on one that you don't own.
We all find it very strange.
I think there's more than enough room on here and other boards, for each one of us to share our thoughts and concerns without becoming abrasive and I'll continue to be respectful of others, without taking sides.
We all have our part to play in each and every company we decide to put our faith and money into.
He’s got a point though. There seems to be a ‘Neil’ on every BB on LSE. A wise investor across many stocks but only posts negatively on the one board. They’ve always made money on said stock previously and are now dishing out their wisdom on the poor unsuspecting remaining investors.
I find your comments slanderous and frankly insulting Value.
If you can not comment in a respectful manner I suggest you stop posting.
You have crossed the line.
Halma,
I completely understand. These boards are a great outlet to socialize and chat away about a share and topics related to it. There's been some great camaraderie on the board throughout the pandemic. Unfortunately some though seek to try and manipulate others via their posts. Many others have already filtered out/blocked NH already. So many incoherent statements/ points of view and an overriding urge to deride Ocado at every turn. It's been going on a very long time. Of course newer posters get caught up in the planting trees narrative allowing other posts to flow which are concocted to give NH more credibility.
Much to discuss re Ocado. There's some superb perspectives that others have. Great to have insights from the many different backgrounds of other posters.
Enjoy the weekend.
Sorry Valueplay,
It's easy to get carried away when you've had nearly 2 years of not being able to socialise and the discussions on here have been a lifeline for me
There's no private conversations on this board. All posts are public information which others can comment on and evaluate. OWLS is wise in pointing out the latest glaring inconsistency in your ever expanding ego driven web of fantasy. Of course he receives an abusive message from you in reply. You are apparently invested in 32 equities yet only comment on 1 equity you own on LSE boards in over 2,000 posts. And of course you claim superb timing in your latest MRW, ROO trades, as you would do.
Nor the other 32 equities I’m invested, why would I mention it to you? What’s it got to do with you, I was talking with Halma!
Get a life you nosey little owl!
NH, strange that you've never mentioned MRW but you now claim to have made big profits with them.
I pinch myself every day! Just 100 more trees!
It'll soon be Christmas! Truth is, everyday of good health is like the magic day and I've already spent the Morrison's money on 10,000 Jubilee metals
Keep up the good work.
Good luck to you. Now just need to focus on the other 33 equities! We need trees, and everything helps.
Job done! At my age I need all the sleep I can get!
We're in positive territory and like you I'm leaving the building infront
