Just waiting for news from our recently expanded sales force in the US.
Nice juicy contract would do wonders.
Well it appears the Americans are showing BoJo the way again. A vaccine is not a substitute for a test. We know it, they know it. Will BoJo catch on.
Between US and Canada its PCR only, antigen isn't allowed. I don't think they will accept anything other than PCR.
Considering 4m trips are made from the UK to the US normally per annum I imagine the nature of the test required for entry is going to be important to people and test providers.
Thanks @troublesome and @harchris. Probably the worst time possible to be in a south Florida ICU. Hopefully off the ventilator this week and months of rehab ahead.
Oh its not relevant at all , thought I'd post it for a joke P100. Research.
I would of thought folks over there in the UK would of leant not to trust a word of what comes out of your Clown Leaders mouth ......
It's a a big announcement for Continental Europe but not really for the UK ...
Dutch uit Amsterdam
How is it relevant to NCYT?
don't worry, by November it'll be a whole different ball game!
Here its because AZN
""" Some vaccines, such as the AstraZeneca vaccine, have not been approved for emergency use in the U.S., despite being widely used in Europe and other countries. The CDC is expected to make a decision on qualifying vaccines in the coming weeks.""""

@sir_digby
Wishing your brother all the best for a speedy recovery.
Hope you manage to give him the support he so badly needs ATM.
Where are you seeing that Dutch , that is not reassuring to all of the British who have been jabbed or is it political posturing to sell more U.S Vaccines. Not heard of anyone refusing AstraZeneca vaccine to date. Have come across several countries who require PCR test if second vaccine longer then 270 /290 days ago , can't remember precise figure. I did post.
That's truly terrible Sir Digby, sorry to hear.
There is a Caveat... It is not clear id people who have had the AZN vaccine will be allowed to travel to the US .

Difficult to physically tell the difference between a Yank and a Brit these days.
Remember the days when we are all far slimmer in comparison and generally more smartly dressed.
What about the hundreds of thousands of Brits that go to New York all year around either for work, tourism, or enjoying the christmas ambience. Not to be underestimated the draw of the US
Too old to ski - and the US in the middle of a pandemic just doesn't appeal.
Just trying to shut my eyes and hold my breath until the AGM is out of the way and hoping this turns soon.
The Floods, Fires and Hurricanes are quite something to behold, I hear.
Ski - Aren't there enough slippery slopes over here ATM.
I wouldn't mind going, my brother has spent the last 5 weeks in an ICU having been hit by a drunk driver. It's not just about the theme parks and Vegas.
Many people John ski in the U.S.
Not sure whether the FDA are being very 'fussy'.
Think they are probably just being sensible and are fully aware of the dangers associated with the use of inferior products in relation to public health.
Who wants to go the states in the winter ?
Prefer the Gold Standard.
