Hello Fiercey-I thought you must have gone into early hibernation. Or are you working extra hard to make up for MTR's sp decline?
I'm not optimistic about Albion going back up and if we do, we'll probably set a new record for least points won in a season. The football we're playing is poor, mainly hoof & hope, although Friday's second goal was excellent., with swift passing and a cracking finish. That's what we need more of not long ball rubbish.
Going back to MTR, I really thought we'd finished with the low 20s. There seems to be absolutely no appetite in the market for MTR shares and we're fast running out of near term catalysts to have any impact. I'm now more positive about Thor, followiing their neww appointment of a new Head Coach, which shows just how much/little belief I now have in MTR. I'll hold a while longer but at some point, in the absence of any significant progress by the SP or really positive news, I'll have to bite the bullit. All a bit depressing.
Keeefyyyy
At this rate baggies be back in with the proppa teams !!!
Surprised by the consecutive drops... maybe factoring in an expected drop in Sandfire share price once they release more shares? Let's hope their price goes up, followed by ours & that we dont dilute to keep out % shares....
Some nice chunky buys to soak up the selling. I imagine some PI’s will be worried how the SFR rights take up will be financed by MTR!! I doubt there will be any further dilution to fund MTR’s entitlement.
Definitely SFR ETF material now Hydrogen! They'll be the biggest copper miner in Oz which status KS will revel in :)
And yes, expect the MTR balance sheet to benefit. Simon Thompson will have a veritable field day :)
Agree Hydrogen. Very pleased to see this big deal. The Spanish company won't need a huge amount of management as it's a fully going concern so no attention will be diverted from Bots IMO. The short squeeze I see as a real possibility so well done KS. His commitment to copper will raise the SFR SP and thus value to MTR. Also this was my take away from the MTR RNS today “Metal Tiger will update shareholders in due course about its intentions with regard to its rights under the equity offer and is currently exploring several options.” I wonder if some shrewd restructure of the equity offer is on the way? Left of field developments always welcome .
I like the look of this. SFR SP has suffered due to doubts about the shelf life of Degrussa and the potential for it to be out of production before Motheo comes on line. That doubt has now been covered off. Shorts on SFR will now probably close. Short term impact on SFR SP not clear. But medium to long-term looks good.
Will MTR participate in the offer? They're already very exposed to SFR but the offer price looks good, so I expect they will.
All in all a good piece of news.
Maybe all the cash will be used to take up shares being issued by sfr
A big,big deal for SFR-what's it going to do for us?
