Agree lostmoney. Off to enjoy the weather on a long weekend so let's see if we get any news and then also how this Q&A (which I keep calling a presentation) goes. Have a good one. ☮️💕👌
Techno ,yes any additional information is welcome, I didn’t do a summary of my interpretations (I think I’ve done enough of that) as these are obviously bias based on an individuals interpretation , I’m sure other more company positive poster could identify targets hit and milestones reached as I could negative ( regarding previous ventures) . As for Capital media/Estadio an update and plans going forward with the opportunity to ask questions should be good to encourage new investment and maybe reassure others , so far based on the RNS releases for this project all timings /milestones seem to be on schedule. I think today /this afternoon might be interesting to watch to see if others agree with Scotty regarding an RNS
Wise words from you all and I see what you are saying. As explained previously I certainly do have sympathy for long term holders but I have invested for the future. I am cautious of what companies say in investor presentations and even in RNSs but if, and it is an if, they can advance the Bet venture then I believe that my investment here will do well. You can argue that they are already making good progress as per the recent RNS but understandably some don't see that as enough. Simple as that really.
Techno - you are acting as if there is any significance to what ME tells you on Monday. You should disregard anything he says and only pay attention to what he does. Lots of people have learnt these painful lessons so hopefully you don’t have to.
And I am glad he is doing a Q&A hopefully he might give some much needed clarity,
Techno before you judge any long term investor ,and the opinion they have of a ME/NB podcast/Q&A or investor presentation i suggest you watch all the old ones ,listen to what ME claims what NB claims and assures the shareholders of ,and basically promised….then read the RNS releases just after …as everyone says DYOR , I’m not going to repeat or provide summary of these events ..I’ll tell you what you watch then provide your summary…
Scotty. Apologies: "not presentation as suggested earlier". Funnily enough in my post earlier today I did say that people make mistakes as is evident by this.
Amtech. Fair enough. I would have thought that you would want to hear what they say. Remind me again are you invested in MOS?
No, nothing new can be said that isn’t already in an RNS. Only money talks now ME has done his talking.
An educated guess suggests there may be a good news RNS prior to the Q&A, not presentation as suggested earlier.
Hello Amtech. Are you attending the MOS Hive Telegram investor presentation?
No use looking, nothing to see. They either make money for shareholders this time or your shareholding will be worth nothing.
Have a safe flight and hope you are going somewhere nice. I am sure that someone will write up a summary here that will clear your confusions up, however obviously take anything posted here as perhaps not fully accurate as people have opinions and also make mistakes too.
Good morning TI.. can’t do Monday as I am flying. My question is why was it necessary for Estadio to be purchased from CMS; who are the common shareholders between Estadio and Capital Media; who benefitted from the 5m Mx MoS investment. It just seems another convoluted deal like Krunch. Needs more clarity and reasoning.
Anticipation of this 20% share of a new Mexican venture is not exactly going wild is it. Couple placing overhangs also to clear yet.
Lothbury. If I can make a suggestion. Attend the MOS Hive Telegram presentation on Monday and one would hope they clear this up for you. If for some strange reason they dont cover it then you can ask them to explain the structure when they take questions. Then within a few days from now you will be clear with it. Thats my plan to ensure my assumptions / research are all correct.
What?
Where did you get that statement from.
You are very confused!
So, why is Estadio with no financials, being bought from Capital Meduia using MoS subscription funds?
Can I ask what you find confusing Lothbury.
You recite from a press release "Initially Capital Media Sports will acquire the assets and IP of Estadio. Given its limited recent operations, there is no financial information regarding Estadio"
That seems clear?
Then you recite further "Capital Media Sports, which has a strategy seeking to acquire a number of sporting publications under which it has signed heads to terms to acquire Estadio, a major existing heritage sports media publication in Mexico formerly owned by Capital News S.A ("Capital News" and part of the Capital Media Group)"
Again, that statement seems clear?
BottleRocket… exactly my sentiments. It’s all confusing … Make what you will out of these extracts from press releases… ” Initially Capital Media Sports will acquire the assets and IP of Estadio. Given its limited recent operations, there is no financial information regarding Estadio… AND …Capital Media Sports, which has a strategy seeking to acquire a number of sporting publications under which it has signed heads to terms to acquire Estadio, a major existing heritage sports media publication in Mexico formerly owned by Capital News S.A ("Capital News" and part of the Capital Media Group).
Nope -
Estadio in Mexico is a pig of a word to google as all it returns is stadiums and 2026 world cup (well, and a Taylor Swift set-list!)
Even if you are specific "being "Capital Media Group Mexico Estadio Bet " and sorry for the large link - https://www.google.com/search?q=Capital+Media+Group+mexico+estadio+bet&sca_esv=b27efcc42a522907&sca_upv=1&sxsrf=ADLYWIKSPdVFc5bSYTGWKQ8Nn1X1Ve_kpQ%3A1715155032243&ei=WDA7ZuK0DvajhbIP7K6VyAE&ved=0ahUKEwjiwLmzyv2FAxX2UUEAHWxXBRkQ4dUDCBA&uact=5&oq=Capital+Media+Group+mexico+estadio+bet&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiJkNhcGl0YWwgTWVkaWEgR3JvdXAgbWV4aWNvIGVzdGFkaW8gYmV0MgQQIxgnMggQABiABBiiBDIIEAAYgAQYogQyCBAAGIAEGKIEMggQABiABBiiBEiODVDwBljwBnABeACQAQCYAVegAVeqAQExuAEDyAEA-AEBmAICoAJbwgIOEAAYgAQYsAMYhgMYigXCAgsQABiABBiwAxiiBJgDAOIDBRIBMSBAiAYBkAYIkgcBMqAHsQQ&sclient=gws-wiz-serp#ip=1
You get nothing other than the RNS from MOS on a dozen platforms before it becomes a list of stadiums... and other things of zero relevance.
I agree Techno / there is a little info on Capital Media available but nothing on Estadio (not even a mention on the WebSite). Capital’s main news is the raising of funding (all of the funding came from MoS and it doesn’t mention that this is for a new business of Estadio Bet). The funding implies it was for working capital for the main business.. Still little information andI am not sure who the principal “Managers & Directors” are of Capital.. As for joint Q&A .. quite common in funding presentations.. So, I’m asking again, does anyone have any information on Estadio Bet please?

Interesting comment Lothbury.
I would welcome that, however I doubt we will get that as I have not seen many other listed companies do something like that where they have invested in another company, especially a private company.
I did have quite a few shares in an investment company quite a few years ago and that was underpinned by an investment in a listed company and they did not do anything like that although it was much easier to understand the investment as that company was listed.
I have tried a few times over the last few months to research Capital Media / Estadio Bet / Estadio Talk and I have quite a quite a good picture, although nothing that I would be confident sharing at this stage in case I got things wrong, and what I am thinking of doing is joining Telegram so that I can attend the presentation and then asking a question along the lines of can you give us some more detail on the Capital Media / Estadio Bet / Estadio Talk structure, management, shareholders, etc... Unless they cover it before they take questions.
Slightly longer term I would imagine that as soon as Estadio Bet launches it will be easier to understand some more detail on that aspect as you would expect the website to contain some of that information.
As our fortunes depend on Estadio’s success :: it would be very helpful to have their CEO to make an investor presentation with ME. Who is the CEO of Estadio and anyone done a CV Due Diligence exercise?
