EIA US agency estimated 7 years ago 43 Billion barrels OIP for Eastern Mongolia blocks clearly marking in green the whole area covering all 3 blocks XXI9, XX21 and our Block XX. I nearly fell off my chair. Had to read it 3 times. OIP 43B bbls.
Even if were to take low estimate of potentially 3 Billion barrels and apply 30% recovery rate, and only $1/bbl in ground value. That would be $900m or $1 a share (75p ).
EIA report was 7 years ago when there was no Heron or Gazelle discoveries from our Block XX.
MATD has now secured 25 years Exploitation licence. With Brent forecasts over $125/bbl in 2022 and $150/bbl in 2023 we should be flooding in cash.
IMHO, DYOR.
Drill contractor talks were at "advanced stage" as per 7 Dec RNS.
So could be confirmation of Rig secured and also Petrochina JV / Farmout....who knows. Would be awesome though.
RNS incoming i think.
This can’t just be sentiment
There must be something incoming of note
Imo
I think and my own opinion to my reasons why I'm invested is that I do believe this is worth 10p right now with heron oil the fact we are planning on selling our own oil with revenue and drilling for more and other blocks to come in for exploration, worst case scenario for is this will be 10-12p by end of march I just can't see this low share price by then, it will all come together and really kick off Q2,
Double figures by month end seems very plausible indeed

3 billion barrels would do very nicely indeed.
Only 900 m shares in issue and Petrovis holds a large chunk.
Good to hear from you again. Was just thinking about you last Friday. Good to see folks still around who were here when we had that phenomenal run up in price to 35-38p in Feb 2017
All that Oil …..and the price going one way maybe up to 125 bucks…that’s big big money for little old MATD
“Reached £110m MCap back in Feb 2017 when we had no discovery.
Today we are in much stronger pisition having a very juicy Oil discovery. Heron Oil field looking to be much bigger than originally thought in my view with circa 700 million barrels before even looking at Gazelle discovery.
Out of the 2 billion barrels recoverable, less than 100m barels been produced so far with a large chunk of Oil still to come out.”
Sorry Mr P but the Toson Uul basin does not have 2 billion barrels. But it does have an estimated 2 billion barrels in blocks XIX and XXI which are owned and run by Petro China. However blocks XIX and XXI account for only 40% of the Toson Uul Basin with the remaining 60% within our block XX. Even oil distribution across the entire basin would indicate that our 60% could potentially contain 3bn barrels of oil.
Planned seismic exploration may or may not firm up estimates but it is looking good for us.
A transformational year ahead? …….Probably :0)
And i strongly believe previous £110m MCap will be taken out making new highs.
110m MCap = 12.25p
Zak Mir 6.3p should be a goner when this starts to motor as most of us know from previous runs here how fast this moves with small no of shares in free float.

Exactly my thinking bigbench. There are so many potential positives right now, even just a few of them coming to fruition would send the SP soaring.
Agreed double figures for sure and that's just for starters.... with Oil doing well and prices expected to climb higher this year its all falling onto place...and remember our relatively small Mcap of £35m is a fraction of what even just Heron holds.
Thanks for the input MisterPositive
I've been invested in MATD for quite a while and thanks to the place offering have an Avg of 5p so I'd be happy with that.
I'd take some profit at 10p but I wouldn't sell up all my stock then though to be honest.
I think this could go a fair amount higher in the long run hopefully.
BlueChipz
Over 10p in my view soon as next RNS lands. Talks at advanced stage mentioned in 7 Dec RNS.
4p gone now.
This is nicely rising and news hasn't even landed yet. Just wondering what people's estimations are for the SP is news lands for the following ...
1, Rig all sorted and ready to rock
2, JV with Retro China
3, Both
