Bowley. So you were physically at this presentation? Who was present? What topics were discussed?
Thanks in advance

Day 2 of the Mongolian mining conference today.
Yesterday there was a presentation on the oil sector in Mongolia.
No sign of Matad, a bit like the equipment Mike said was on route.
Oh dear - what a bad sport! It's fun to be a muppet! - enjoy it!
//Curiouser, that is hilarious ??//
You know what isn't hilarious? MATD's performance!
This ****ing CEO, knowing the situation, is not just chatting and traveling but can shorting as well.
By deliberately lowering stock prices, such rogue CEOs and their teams can easily devalue the investments of gullible shareholders and pocket their funds.
Ignore question marks.
Curiouser, that is hilarious ??
Hamm and Bad Prophet you remind me of the two old guys on the balcony on The Muppet Show
Well said. All ministers and ministries with none stop talks but not single bloooooooddddyyyyyyy action says it all.
3 years waiting. Come on MB.
All talk and no oil make Jack a poor boy.
Mining week "
The " Mining week " event , organized for the first time on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the development of the mining industry , started today at the Shangri-La Hotel . The conference , which is jointly organized by the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry and "Oyu T olgoi" company , lasted for a week from September 19-23, and in addition to state organizations such as the Ministry of Mines, Mining and Metallurgy, and the Ministry of Economy, representatives of the mining industry and investors, a total of three More than a thousand guests will participate.
D. Amarbayasgalan, Minister of Mongolia and Chairman of the Government of Mongolia, opened the " Mining Week " event with a speech. He said, "Government should not make a decision to grant permission with one hand and block it with the other hand." Hoishid emphasized that he will pay attention to this aspect, while J. Ganbaatar, Member of Parliament , Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economy, and Minister of Economic Affairs, J. Ganbaatar said, "The main advantage of a Member of Parliament being the head of the mining industry is that the situation and pressing issues of the industry are brought to the attention of the Parliament. " It is seen as an advantage in that it enables quick presentation and quick decision-making. For me, Parliament -"As the head of the Standing Economic Committee, he knows more about the problems of the industry" and presented the "New Revival Policy " to be followed by the government in the mining sector until 2050 . presented by analyst Damian Brett.
In addition to presenting the trends followed by the world, his speech also presented the great potential of Mongolia's mining industry if it can be used. Also , H. Erdenebulgan, acting head of the Border Port Development and Free Zone Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy and Development, gave a presentation on "Port Policy Planning". "He emphasized in his speech that there is a need to solve the infrastructure based on mineral resources and then develop the port. " Mining week " continues
Is anybody from MATD there?
Perhaps MB should be there if it wouldn't be too much for him!
Let's see if our messanger would give us some real news.
3 years for LP isn't funny. I guess it is a long wait even with Mongolian norm!
On the second day of the event, information will be provided about the current state and future trends of mineral and oil exploration and production in our country. This is the topic that investors are most interested in. Within this topic, the Ministry of Economic Development will present the foreign investment support policy in the mineral resources sector, and large mining companies will give presentations and hold discussions. GLA
All sounds very promising. Fingers crossed it gets put into action ASAP as we've all been waiting for a bloody long time now.
Today on the FB page of JAMBAL GANBAATAR Member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, Chairman of the Standing Committee
The Ministry of Mines and Heavy Industries is organizing the #MONGOLIAN_MINING_WEEK_2022” event to enhance the development of the Mongolian mining sector, increase the confidence of foreign and domestic investors and attract investment in the sector.
3 factors limiting our industry growth:
? Minerals special license has been reduced,
??The confidence of foreign and domestic investors is decreasing and the number of investors is not increasing,
??We define this as an incident that could disrupt the normal operations of the industry, and on the other hand, illegal mining and irresponsible mining continue".
To change these things up:
? supporting responsible mining,
? Consistently protect the rights of domestic and foreign investors who enforce the law,
? giving opportunities and trust to personal people and working together with responsibilities,
? We will focus our policy measures to increase the competitiveness of the industry.
???? The conference started with the hope that the problems faced together will be identified, discussed, looked at from multiple perspectives, found solutions, creative and suggestions that will create a favorable and appropriate environment for investment.
Ojay - good to hear that you think PM sp needs to "come back" from current levels. Reading some of the ramps you'd be forgiven for thinking the explosion had already happened!
b/p: Good to hear that you admit to "hope"; looks like you consider a PM sp comeback to be realistic.
Let's spread the word from one of the most critical posters on this board!
well if MB can't be arsed Bowley might have some news for us over the weekend.
(As I've said before I'll hold & hope rather than turn a paper loss into a real one.)
* political
curiouser - quite right in all your comments. I would just add that I think having local perol retailer petrovis as major shareholders in MATD is too our good at the polital level.
curiouser: I couldn't agree more to your post @10.16 today.
Particularly "Anyone who can't wait for this to unfold are very free to move on of course. It's your money and if you now think you are being cheated I know what I would do."
Knowing that all the critics and doom sayers are still very present on this BB I feel very comfortable that they also - deep down - believe in the PM success story (which - of course - is just a matter of time). Not one of them has moved on as you mentioned in your post: Conclusio?
Jimi, this is not just a feeling, but a direct proof of the lies and swindle of the scoundrel MB. I know perfectly well the monstrous level of corruption in today's criminal Russia and what impact this could have had on Mongolia. But even in Russia, and hence in Mongolia, the interests of government officials and the interests of business, especially large ones, coincide. And if MB, appointed to his position by representatives of such a large Mongolian supplier of oil products as Petrovis, did not lie to us about the constant excellent support from the government, then the company wouldn't have and couldn't have any problems. But in reality is that such problems existed, but the leadership of the PM and this crook did not even mention them and began to do so when it became impossible to hide. And this is the true double-deceitful face of MB.
The "cheating" was when they did the cash raise at 3.5p !!!
I'm still very dubious any workover is going to be performed this year but there are still a couple of months to change that but yes very frustrating tho. GLA
It might hurt the company if there are 'business sensitive' contractual negotiations taking place? It is very frustrating and we all want to know what is happening I admit.
