I would tend to agree that with so many sizeable LTH's in at way above current SP there's a decent chunk of the shares that are in sticky hands until we start to ( or should we ) push close to the 50p mark
I’m getting ready to start buying. Thanks for the input guys. I think we will get an operational update this month. Obviously this week is notoriously quiet on the markets, being half term. Having done a little more research I certainly don’t expect DC to be posting a £500k earnings into these forthcoming accounts. Nice try Shearclass ...obviously you are looking to buy too. Single figures no way pal. I think once the buying starts back here again we should move fast and anywhere around here with the SP provides a good entry level to start scaling in.
I echo your summary MB i think if i recall you were also at the event at Wembley on the 17th January 2020. It was supposed to be the start of a whirlwind year with the RNS kicking months of sp decline. Sadly the moronic Nomad saw fit to ignore the triumphant manner in which LVCG had turned and EBITDA negative into a very healthy EBITDA positive and the headline all investors wanted to hear was muted by the lazy manner in which the Nomad insisted the RNS be written.
That aside you cannot ignore the very strong fundamentals driving LVCG, the sp is where it is purely on sentiment and not due to operational disasters. This, as an investor, give me great hope for the future and adding to my holding more shares at reduced rates means that i can enjoy investment at these low levels. This will rise and rise quick and steady when the sentiment is repaired and we get a few rainbow chasers latching on to the rise. Revenue is strong and there are whispers that this year is particularly strong to date. I expect we will be getting an update very soon and i am quite optimistic that it will put LVCG firmly back on the map. Let's face it, operationally and as a young business they smash other stocks of popularity out of the water, revenue is better, EBITDA is better and no doubt this will translate in to a confidence boosting maiden profit. Having spoke to DC, like many other investors recently, i can confidently say that his commitment and drive to building this lucrative brand is impressive. More so impressive is young Andy who gave birth, to coin a phrase, to the lucrative and very unique IP concepts. Buying in sub 20p is a very low risk once the niggles have been ironed out and you are left with a well governed, profitable and highly generative cash machine!
The philosophy to build, build and build is a tough call because it does take finance, however, once this phase is done with and they have increased models, sets and so on, the cash generation will boost LVCG hugely on the path to paying maiden dividends or possibly even share buy backs, this alone will give huge shareholder value, around 79m shares will likely give way to good dividends in the future as revenues and profits grow considerably. Sadly, the weak will always spoil a great investment and present an amazing opportunity to new investors and existing ones who are fortunate enough to capitalise on this very low sp with additional top ups and purchases.
I truly think the market is missing a trick here and a day will come when the realisation sets in and we see a return in strong sentiment and a much needed move north. The icing on the cake when it materialises too is the potential for a buy out, LVCG will well and truly be highly featured on the agenda of some larger companies in this sector!
Patience, bravery and courage for existing holders will pay off hugely in the coming months and low risk investing at what has to be the very basement level, will absolutely pay off for any new inv
Good summary Specky - I am looking to invest here but not sure how much further the SP will decline. I would also like to see an update re any impact of the Corona Virus and I would also like to see DC align his large salary with SP performance (maybe take shares as a part salary sacrifice??) I doubt I will get all of my wish list - I will contact the Company for an update about current trading.
MB10 - I can't disagree with your post, but I would add that it's clear that the SP is being sentiment driven, and unless you are already a LVCG holder there is enough negativity to dissuade new investors. A lot of this IMHO come down to the lack of clarity & simplicity of the comms from the company. As an example look at how the profitability of the company is dampened by the head line of missing a target set by a third party in the last RNS ?
From the numbers released it's difficult to ascertain the real potential. Existing SH's are licking their wounds after listening to DC's initial exit plan & timeline, from memory it was £3 TO by Qtr1 2019 ? as well as sitting on a loss, then to have your face rubbed in it wit what people perceive DC is earning.
DC had a number of calls after the numbers where released & to some extent listened, but so far we've seen little change in what has been communicated / delivered.
I also think that if you look at how much DC played the scale of the Chinese opportunity that there must be a question mark about what the impact of that is on LVCG - personally I would like to see an operational update on that alone, either reassuring us that there is no material impact and the tour has been moved elsewhere or what the impact is as its far better to be released now rather than should we see a rise in SP ?
Another all time low today I see, when the final results show a whopping adjusted loss & DC taking 500k in salary this should be closer to single figures IMO
Ragnar: This has been a main concern for me regarding LVCG. But DC bought a good chunk of stock at 65p and as Specky says, has a lot of skin in the game. DC is working hard developing relationships, doing plenty of deals and building out the business. But I would like to see DC's salary show sensitivity to the profits recently delivered, which fell short of stated targets. We must remember that huge progress has been made in a short period and the company's footprint is already global. I'd also like to see the questionable financing partners used swapped out for more respected institutional names as the business evolves.
The subject of DC's wages have been mentioned a few times, I would hope that moving forward this has been addressed & his earnings are closer aligned to company performance including the SP / EPS - like you say we will find out at easter.
The backdrop of him trying to put the cost of his flat through did cause ripples & to be fair to him he does hold significant stock & took at the higher placing so its not just a 1 way street like many other CEO's of AIM
I’m looking to maybe take a position here. Last proper placing at 65p ...that’s if you ignore RF steal. That’s a couple of bags. My only issue is DC wages...does that cause a problem for anybody else ? Accounts around Easter time will be interesting... perhaps I will wait til then
