I'd like to think you are correct, but that was the logic I applied when they recruited the likes of Lewis Sherlock, who as the Chief Revenue Officer is accountable for the revenues we produce ?
I am amazed at the level of the drop here today, it's so disproportionate to other stocks, for me this presents a great buying opportunity as the correction could be swift & aggressive if kick started by any decent news, and from earlier posts we know that there is plenty being discussed.
so have many others ?
there are some significant things taking place on a global scale
At least with the horses you get to watch something, NUOG have done nothing irrespective of who's milking it
make that 3 RNS's !!!!
Tide really is turning, shame its just marginally reducing my losses
Waite is a special case.
His narrative is purely based on his own holding, and his podcasts reflect this, as if you applied his logic on ESL today you would then argue against BIDS which is one that he pushed hard & then sold into.
When will people wake up & see how manipulative he is, I can't believe he has got away with it for so long & not had the FCA all over him
Interesting to see a buy of 1.2m shares just go through
JTP won't see any of that as he can't see past his own ego & greed, now add a bucket load of incompetence and you get the root cause of the debacle we see here, oh while JTP is lining his own pocket either directly or indirectly
OK, so this chap is clearly building a big old stake here & investing serious money, that said we've seen this before with LT taking a serious amount under the old guise, and be seen as the font of all knowledge just because he was able to buy in more than most - just be careful it's not always the way ?
That said I have no idea who he is or his background so it could also be a master stroke
pure speculation, nobody knows what the asset will be or if there is one ?
They're still paying Simple Simon - which is madness as can anyone tell me what he actually does ?
I would tend to agree that with so many sizeable LTH's in at way above current SP there's a decent chunk of the shares that are in sticky hands until we start to ( or should we ) push close to the 50p mark
I do hope the Simpleton is paid per comms & not by the day
interesting that despite being pushed by Andrew about over promising for last year & James really struggles to accept he got it wrong, as he just wheels out the " oh we were so close " " if only ..... " well sorry but that's just excuses ?
Despite that my overall view is that this is positive, although the cynic in me can't help think that is it a coincidence that after JW declares he's out of BIDS JD switches to proactive
MB10 - I can't disagree with your post, but I would add that it's clear that the SP is being sentiment driven, and unless you are already a LVCG holder there is enough negativity to dissuade new investors. A lot of this IMHO come down to the lack of clarity & simplicity of the comms from the company. As an example look at how the profitability of the company is dampened by the head line of missing a target set by a third party in the last RNS ?
From the numbers released it's difficult to ascertain the real potential. Existing SH's are licking their wounds after listening to DC's initial exit plan & timeline, from memory it was £3 TO by Qtr1 2019 ? as well as sitting on a loss, then to have your face rubbed in it wit what people perceive DC is earning.
DC had a number of calls after the numbers where released & to some extent listened, but so far we've seen little change in what has been communicated / delivered.
I also think that if you look at how much DC played the scale of the Chinese opportunity that there must be a question mark about what the impact of that is on LVCG - personally I would like to see an operational update on that alone, either reassuring us that there is no material impact and the tour has been moved elsewhere or what the impact is as its far better to be released now rather than should we see a rise in SP ?
The subject of DC's wages have been mentioned a few times, I would hope that moving forward this has been addressed & his earnings are closer aligned to company performance including the SP / EPS - like you say we will find out at easter.
The backdrop of him trying to put the cost of his flat through did cause ripples & to be fair to him he does hold significant stock & took at the higher placing so its not just a 1 way street like many other CEO's of AIM
I know it's great isn't it, means the usual heard are yet to be aware, lets hope e get a few more days under the radar to get north of 2p before we get news. Would be just rewards for the LTH's
It's funny how the Investor Relations & Communications contact has his bio not listed ?
Personally Simon's been stealing a living & went along with the deceit from the Mintys so can't understand why he has been retained, really should have got rid of him when taken over, also have to ask what the hell does he actually do & does the business really need at PR bod on full time ????
By all accounts the company has an advisory board that reaches far into the gamer community, a development team in Riga doing fantastic work & a sales team across the UK & the US, so sounds like there is depth to the team, I'd ask the question what does James now offer BIDS ?
My view is that he's done well to get BIDS to where it is, he now needs to stand back and bring someone in to take over the day to day running that has the required experience in business to actually make it become reality
Girdz, it's conjecture unless you've spoken to Andrew as to why he joined & I doubt you've done that ? I'd also add that if the Advisory Board members really believed in BIDS then they would have invested as well as joining the Advisory Board ? after all Andrew has considerable wealth ? imagine the impact if that happened - can James convince just one of the advisory board to do that ?
Have you listened to the Podcast in full ? JD is blaming uneducated investors for not understanding, sorry he's deluded - the reason is that HE has failed to deliver on his promises, despite numerous reassurances, so why believe what he says now ? I doubt anybody has taken more out of BIDS than James in the last year ?
For me I've reached a level where I won't be adding to my position in BIDS until something fundamental is confirmed, and by that I mean revenue generating. My guess is that the majority of existing holders are of the same mind-set.
James really does need to understand the investor community, you might think that you have the best offering in the word but if the demand is not there then it fails to deliver it's potential. A classic case was the old VHS v Betamax battle that despite Betamax being far superior technically VHS prevailed to dominate the market
