Lots of stop losses today taking bid below 52wk low.
Rather oversold considering profit. Order book for future sales is lower but that could change any day.
Does anyone know the significance of a Price Monitoring?
Live buy price of £10,000 = £ 1.23978. Markets always worry about next 18months or so.
big drop considering record profits, cost reduction via automation, mitigating strategy regarding LED market strain and also dividend increase. Market over reaction I think
I would buy @ 120p
Slowly and steadily creeping north and hopefully reach new highs. Surprisingly unnoticed for such a promising well run company. Wouldn't be surprised if MMS have been trying to fill some larger buy orders but there would appear to be only a few small sellers around. TW's article should have attracted some more interest here. Bit more patience required.
LPA are tipped as a Buy today by the ************* web site...I'm not a subscriber, so don't have access: Https://www.*************.com/views/36067/lpa-group-a-buy "LPA Group - a buy By Tom Winnifrith & Steve Moore | Wednesday 16 May 2018 In January LPA Group (LPA) announced record results and in March updated that this year also “should present us with an excellent result. However, despite already being on a modest rating, the shares are down from 178.5p in February to a current 155p offer price and ..."
Mm's keeping this range bound. Will have to let it go at some stage but unfortunately little liquidity. Hold, accumulate and wait for eventual re-rate.
Next week (21st). Looking for a confident chairman's statement at the meeting.
Vox Markets recommends a buy today.
Agreed. Excellent results - looks like at 14.4p EPS they beat expectations nicely. Gearing is low, order books are well up and prospects are rosy: https://www.investegate.co.uk/lpa-group-plc--lpa-/rns/final-results/201801230700035878C/ "Outlook Our order book and prospects in our home and export markets are very positive indicators. The current financial year has started well. We look forward to our medium and longer term future with great confidence." "Sales output in the first quarter is significantly ahead of the same period last year confirming the continuing growth potential of the business."
LPA results get better and better-profits up 26% share price yet to reflect the prospects here.
Results out soon ( around 21 January should show higher profits and significant momentum forward as they increase turnover. This small cap is very well run and in a niche market and on results I expect it to reach new highs of 180p +. Could also be a bid target as Ceo and main shareholders past retirement age.
[Further to the Chairman's Statement issued with the interim results on 26 June 2017 which confirmed that the Group had established itself on a new trading level, output during the second half was at record levels and, given the volume of deliverable orders on hand, this is likely to be sustained during the new financial year. Margins, which had been depressed by an unfavourable product mix in the first half, responded well to higher volumes and manufacturing efficiencies have improved significantly. Expectations for the year just closed anticipated significant progress and the Board believes it has delivered on this.] 'aint going to help LPA'. Ain't too sure that's been the case!
aint going to help LPA
I bought a few of these and recently transferred them into my ISA, so it's great to see them now starting to rise. Hopefully back to 180p in reasonably quick time. Good luck all.
will rebuy c 1.10
to bounce...so where might this fall to? 7*EBIT would give EV of c7*£1.6m...so mcap below NAV ...and an sp well below £1
@126/8...pe close to 10 for growth...with seasoned management entrenched in nice little business thay should be a winner both through import substitution and competitive pricing in export markets
