I didn't say they only saw the positive sportbilly.. I said they chose to only talk about the positives in their posts, as a rule :-)
Generally, there are lots of very able posters here imho... and if this BB stays as balanced as it has more recently then I rate it highly..
No digs at anyone on this board in my last post btw. Always happy dropping in here, most contributions are great to read.
There's a difference between only seeing the positives and seeing a balance of views...which arguably one could also describe as "research".
The rns lays it out pretty plainly - "The Board believes the Strategic Review process is appropriate at this stage of the Company's development to help the Board achieve its objective in maximizing shareholder value."
They have been highlighting for some time the disparity between market value and asset value. This is their opportunity to close that gap. and as shareholders themselves one I expect them to take
Fair enough and thanks Samval..
You're a quality poster imho..
Indeed there are plenty here who are that.. also there are smart / well researched guys who towards 'never talking down their investments/bets' as a rule, disregard, more or less, completely the negatives and talk about positives only..or put a positive spin on a negative when they can't ignore it any more .. etc..
eg no chance of a placement soon here..
or
a sale event is of course imminent here, as some very capable posters have been saying for plenty of the many years i've been here....
etc... :-)
I think they're more decent-good than ok-decent.
Trouble on these bulletin boards is often decent means bad, good means decent, very good means good etc as the superlative inclined posters and tweeters have led our language to be seen. Though after writing this I realise I'm doing you a huge disservice mentioning you alongside those sorts of contributors..
I say: ...overall Gold grades so far being ok/decent more than good/very good
You say: Grades either high end of low grade or the bottom end of medium grade, depending how you'd like to look at it.
It seems to me that we are in agreement on this point too Samval?
With you on all this Michu bar the gold grade criticisms. Grades either high end of low grade or the bottom end of medium grade, depending how you'd like to look at it.
PEA alone shows NPV here over $200m for just over half the known resource. Can reasonably 1.75-2x that for the part not included; even at lower grade, due to that part not carrying the upfront costs.
A buyer should emerge, it's too good a project not to find someone interested. My only (small) concern is Bill + team perhaps overvaluing the project and negotiations not getting off the ground. He's the CEO though and I'm just someone commenting on a bulletin board. I believe in the team.
I'm slightly less bullish here after that May 9th PEA / Strategic review RNS than I was before it (and I was only semi decently bullish here more than majorly so before this RNS)
The detail on the gold resource is being made more clear as we go here, as eg'd by latest definition on what's open pittable versus underground minable. And including the overall Gold grades so far being ok/decent more than good/very good - imho- I'm pretty staunchly of the minorly more than majorly bullish orientation, around this time at least, here.
To avoid a placing later in summer we need effectively all o/s Warrants be converted, and with no caveats from large holders eg this for Nikel drilling only etc...imho...and, altogether, I still think there's a decent chance of a placing to come here after July warrants conversion/expiry.
Also my guess has now firmed up somewhat that there were no meaningful sale negotiations in play here in first 4 months of this year... and my further guess is that there will be no company or assets sales here in Q2 or Q3 2022... and, also, that further meaningful drilling campaign(s) will occur here from second half of year
Generally, I'm comfortable that this bet is currently less than 5% of my overall AIM portfolio. And I live considerably more in hope than expectation of a very big - per cent - win on my bet here in the end. That said I think the share price is far too low at early 20's p and while I may well not be adding around these levels, neither am I interested in selling any in the low to mid 20's p ....
Much chance involved in this game, no doubt .. so here's to 75p area company sale in q4 2022 or sometime in 2023 !!
wouldve thought potential buyers were already known to the company so you would imagine interest will already have been received so shouldnt have to wait to long before we get an offer
Will be somewhere between the 1 bag and 10 bags mentioned by some of our learned posters. Exciting to wait and see.
Think the warrants will keep us steady until then with a rise starting after this update unless we get an RNS before then about initial interest in buying the gold which can be discussed at the end of month update. Been a long wait since Q3 last year for me here but the clock is ticking on the INEVITABLE rerate …..gold is worth more than 50p on its own without all the battery materials so at least a bag from here on news of gold sale. Some are sale gold is with 75-100p based on 90 dollars an Oz sale price from recent sales of gold companies at the same stage as us. We have 1.5m Oz so really it’s anyones guess but I’m happy with a bag minimum from here - let’s see
