Okay you lot, hold your horses, I sat next to Oily at the Walsall event, he asked far too many intelligent questions for my liking.
Made me look like a fool (not difficult), but at least I had the good looks eh Mr Magnet? ;-)
Now, there was some idiot at that event who asked Mr Reeves about whether the Togo license Was imminent. Hmmm, wonder who that was?
At least I got a pint out of Reevesy, think he felt sorry for me.
I will certainly be raising a glass or two to Steve when this takes off. Top man. Rest his soul.
I think we could still let oily attend the party. He had been here quite a while and he doesn't seem a bad bloke....smiling emoji
Hah, I'm the reverse - about 15% down still. I stopped trying to average down on this some time ago. I've never made it to a shareholders meeting but will surely love to get all the LTH's together if this finally repays our faith! Be some party that I suspect ;-) Shame Steve is no longer with us and folks like Oily had to sell.
It’s been a long road indeed. I remember meeting a few of you at Walsall, not sure I recall exactly who. Honestly I’m about 15% up at the moment with CAI interest, and frankly I think that has a decent way to go yet. It does genuinely feel like we are nearly at payback time! GLA.
I feel your pain, Monty. I was in the same boat. I also recollect only once being in profit from my averaged down position (AA/Kumba deal time) when the sp went up to 2.2p - - -and of course the ar@e then fell out of the IO market :-(
Hopefully some divine force will ensure we are one day rewarded for our dogged (stupid?) holding in here. 9 years almost now, is it?
A few years ago, Pre-dilution x n times I had about 1.5% in KRS... not sold, and only bought, but nowhere near that now!
From speaking with DR in November, the Manganese play is of equal, if not greater value to DR than Calidus. From a division of responsibilities perspective, his time is better spent on Australian gold with RL focused on Manganese.
Don't get fooled into believing DR has 'moved on' from Keras.
DR shares have been suitably paid back by CAI and I suspect he bought them as a means to obtain more CAI other than direct buys on ASX.
Your joint positivity has made me smile - again.
That's just shares in the names of the directors. Their family and friends jointly hold another few percent
Ok had a bit of a laugh this morning!
But when you see how much “skin in the game” the board have in this!
Director Interest in Ordinary Shares % interest in Ordinary Shares
Dave Reeves 493,224,251 17.71
Russell Lamming 145,934,551 5.24
Brian Moritz 106,627,178 3.83
Total 745,785,980 26.78
So let’s keep focused, get through this current tough period, I cannot see the above letting this one slip through their fingers!

I truly get the despondency as a long term investor. I would not take the delay as an indicator of anything other than the impacts of the global pandemic.
I've said before, I'll say it again - we're dealing with a developing world country, led by a dictator. He is not going to be influenced by speed (and modern technological approaches) he is going to want a photo opportunity, with himself front and centre, shaking the hands of the company's 'main man' in the flesh.
We just need to be patient. As annoying and frustrating as that it. In the global sense, and against the backdrop of Covid 19 - we are irrelevant.
I don't know if you saw - Togo have extended their Covid-19 measures to mid-August.
It's looking more likely, by the day, that the permit will be received after the anniversary of the decree itself. Sorry, folks, for the despondency - but, to me, it seems as the Togolose govt contains little enthusiasm for our project: if it did, we would have been mining a long time ago - as it's evinced, throughout this saga, any tricky political situation demonstrates reason enough to delay final approval.
Be very interesting to watch......Andrew Neil interviewing!
AN
“Now tell me Mr Lamming, when was it you promised this so called mining license?”
RL
“It’s all in hand”
AN
“I hear that, but you’ve told us time and again it’s due......so when will it be signed?”
RL
“Soon”
AN
“That’s a bit of a non answer to my question, I’ll try again, when will the shareholders see progress in this project?”
RL
“They are very understanding and knowledgeable investors, they trust me to keep quiet and just bring the results”
AN
“So you think you can still deliver this project within this coming year?”
RL
“Everything being equal......yes!”
AN
“Well I cannot say how impressed I am at your enthusiasm!
Thank you for taking time out of your hectic day to give this interview!
We all wish you well with your efforts”
RL
“Thanks!”

At this rate, we will still be waiting a long time.
Just need Russell to be doing the same!
Brilliant interview!
