What a mess. All in the bottom drawer and early retirement plans well and truly shelved.
Concur with you both unhappy with both outfits but hopefully Calidus is in the home straight now but Keras who knows total lack of comms from Stacey.
Agree about Calidus djf and also with the really poor performance of my long term SIPP pf. Extra long term now, as in distant 😂. Calidus and KRS are by far the worst culprits. Recent performance of my investment a/c trading pot has been successful so far with an in and out on decent profit approach. Still risky though so always have spare cash in case of a crash. ATB. :o).
Gold hitting all-time highs and Calidus hitting own goals. Thought adding at 20c was a decent call. My portfolio having an annus horibilis. Crap fund-raise after crap fund-raise. Shall step back a bit.
Equity raise @ 11.5c 🙄😵💫🤬. :o).
Judging by the state of the Company, if the announcement is in any way positive, then Easter Sunday might be an appropriate time to release it.
DR is synonymous with drama - and incompetence and misleading statements.
An extension to voluntary suspension has been requested until an announcement on or before market opening on Friday 22nd. More drama. :o).
Well one thing I learned in all this. I'll never truste an AISC estimate from a DR company ever again!
Never trust DR again - look at Keras and Calidus.
I don't see the Aussie investors who bought in on the raise prior to the latest catastrophic (but ultimately necessary as a saviour) one @ 21C ever forgiving DR for his actions. As PC says we can wait for improvement as our initial KRS entitlement to Calidus shares aren't too bad. Could be better though, just like here!. :o).
I'm going to wait for the facts before casting my full opinion, but optically it looks like a cluster f*ck by management, even if the outcome is potentially positive.
A hypothesis I have is that it was broadly done and dusted, refinance agreed with a small share issue to Macquarie as additional compensation on making the deal, hence it being included (wrongfully) in a presentation pack.... Macmahon and Alkane got wind of the share issue and wanted in to maintain their positions, imposing a further delay - and were probably a little miffed that they hadn't been communicated with prior/during the refinance cycle.
Up until the suspension notice, sophisticated investors hadn't received a capital raising invite from Euroz Hartley, so I don't think it *was* a full, planned capital raise, initially, hence my hypothesis about existing major holders.
Hi Prop
We’ve had such a bumpy ride of late, that even if we can stretch out both hedge and debt, the market will likely react indifferently to the news!
And with a series of unseen events shattering Dave’s reputation, it’s going to take a long time to recover his credibility!
You could say we are the lucky ones, with the initial share allocation, so really it’s a free carry.
Although, expectations were very high in the early days!
However, I’m in for the long haul, just like here, expecting (hoping for) “any” news to move this one forward!
PC
PC, You don’t sound confident.
Last notification from the company states,at the latest, trading should be this Wednesday 20th!
Lots of issues to be resolved, it’s going to be tense!
Holding tight !
PC
And is it? Any ideas when trading might resume?
Anyone would think that Calidus is about to go to hell in a handcart if they read the Hotcopper board - quite depressing for investors.
I have been thinking the same - leaving us PIs with a nice loss.
To be honest, I'm not sure what it could look like. At these price levels, and given Grosso's location, it wouldn't surprise me if he did a full takeover and ultimately, after some time, IPO in the US.
Sounds about right for Keras, Markyess. When you say full control, do you mean ousting the current BoD and replacing them with his lieutenants?
With no progress from Togo and, based on the news in the public domain, limited PROFITABLE growth in sales from Diamond Creek, I think we'll be on a cash scramble - but it wouldn't surprise me if Grosso fills the gap ... what he wants in return will be interesting to see. Full control?
Will we have enough - or will we have to scramble for it elsewhere?
Morning jr nothing missed mate last info was joint venture and relocation to new premises and setting up plant, :)
Morning all.
Weren’t we meant to get guidance on production by now or have I missed it?
