A lot of contract wins were announced concurrently with both the previous annual and interim results. This will surely be repeated on Tuesday. Increasingly likely with the pathogen detector...
From annual results 2021;
“our revenue for the second half was 26% above the first half, with the strong momentum continuing post year end. In particular, we are seeing continued traction in the medical imaging segment as our customers increasingly roll out their products incorporating our technology,” the company’s CEO said.
“As a result, and with excellent visibility over full year forecasts, we are on track to deliver our highest ever annual revenue for the full year to 30 April 2022, representing significant growth over 2021. Consequently, and combined with the successful fundraising completed in the year under review, we are well-placed to capitalise on the substantial opportunities across our business and the board continues to look to the future with increased confidence," Basu added.

No RNS from Kromek for a longer than normal time and we’re in their stated timeframe now for commercialisation of the biological pathogen detector. I think there’s a good chance of some positive update on Tuesday regarding the biological pathogen detector.
Just had a quick read through last year’s interim results and noticed they saved the announcement of a £1.25m government grant to develop a covid only detector for interim results day.
Hopefully they’ll have saved a pleasant surprise for us at the interim results this year too!
Aqc.
The order value is pretty irrelevant. If you believe it can move the share price it must be released, I believe any sale deserves an rns.
"That's what they said they'd be doing", this is kmk - saying and delivering are not the same.
I think you're mixing me up on this one, much more to be irritated by with kmk.
Investor confidence needs to be Built on delivery and execution, words will just be discounted by the market.
Skid, I’m not so sure they would need an RNS for small sales of the covid specific detector. After all, that’s what they’ve already said they’d be doing. If I remember correctly a major irritation of yours was the failure to update the market regarding the reversal of a decision to manufacture a ventilator.
If I on the board I’d be very conscious of the need to kick start investor confidence in Kromek and I’d much prefer to give a blazing interim results statement, rather than drubs and drabs which sometimes even see the share price decline. I’d also be aware ST would be watching and that I was in the running for his 2022 edition, which would see a flood of new investors and share price rise beyond all his previous coverage
What was current year revenue target, £16m ?? Being on track is the key for the interims imho

I think you're wrong on real covid detector sales even at a small scale outside of the pilots. This would need an rns as it is so significant even at a small £ value, and kmk would be shouting from the rooftops.
Should be interesting, as always with kmk look at the small print and read the notes to the accounts. As a start kmk need to hit their promises on the "base" business with no surprises to restore some level of credibility.
Any positive news should hopefully see this heading towards the twenties. I think the ST effect lessens with seventh or eighth time, but is still there.
Less than nine days till interim results.
My prediction here is they will be around or slightly ahead of forecasts and that there will be some positive but vague news on the biological pathogen detector sales. Perhaps some very small covid detector sales will feature in the results, which since they weren’t in any forecasts might boost the results.
I think this will be enough for a small percentage increase on the day. However in this scenario I predict Simon Thompson will include his repeated ‘strong buy’ in his 2022 list in early feb which will see a 20-40% rise on the day. If the main business is not at a loss and there’s the promise of future biological pathogen detector sales in the near future, I see a strong possibility of Kromek making his list for 2022...
Two highlights from the previous year stood out .....
"New details of the terminal building’s multimillion-pound redevelopment were revealed, with new arrivals and check-in areas, state-of-the-art security scanners, new bars, cafes and shops plus luxury lounges created.".
Possibly KMK Scanners !
and
"Local firm Kromek trialled a groundbreaking coronavirus detector in the terminal. It can identify trace levels of Covid-19 within 30 minutes, helping protect passengers’ health and pilot the machine ahead of a wider rollout."
A small airport maybe but still positive.
