.... hmmm perhaps instead of Maddog it should be BULL dog - LoL
Bannor/ as you no l am to thick to do research l haven't got a clue " l am just a dog with no brain , lol and l can not read documents at all ,lol
Very good Dog .... in that case can you advise where all the profits went after costs of supporting the local economy & employment of Amapa & it's related businesses & infrastructure prior to the port collapse & the intervening events between then & hopefully where we'll get to eventually?
Bannor/ don't think l do not no how much the total investment is " l am well a were of the 130 million investment. which is peanuts to return . just wait and see you and others may be very surprised. as l said l hope all is well and we get a thumps up
I wouldn't be so sure that 30% spike was because of the Yangi news .... maybe some but I think the expectation of Amapa news is what's behind the bulk of any rise / spike, unfortunately if there is a significant rise on the back of any positive Amapa news I suspect there'll be a lot of selling into it .. but hey ho it should settle higher overall if the news is good....
We haven’t even got 20% yet let alone 27 or 49%
Where is this podcast? Has Kiran answered a question with some info that can’t be released yet I wonder - perhaps around the 20% -but he is aware hence why he used it in his answer. Is it all ready lined up to be released after confirmation from the courts - let’s hope so.
If news on Yangi can cause a 30% spike in the SP and that is 6 years away surely some positive news on Amapá must spike the SP by more than 50%?
100% spike and I’m out - 5 years of pain is enough for me :)
16% .of EMH obviously - but then you knew that.. ..
.......most likely I would .... the JV's are potentially much more valuable to us than a paltry $24M even if we do need to wait until LV & LV1 are no longer economically viable & HAS run out of their preferred 100% owned areas .... don't forget how much MEG & MEX cost us & also Kirans Yangi being worth 4p a share for us (pre consolidation so £4 now LoL) subsequently adjusted though to $200M.....
Although selling only the biddy bit of JV1 currently in the mine plan for $24M could work for me ...... or selling 16% & 3% of MMS for $24M works even better.
I just think it's about time we got the opportunity to partake in a placing especially when we know what it's for & what it will bring to the table .... it wouldnt be like anything needs to be hidden or done behind closed doors in this instance as its all in the public domain....plus If in any small way I can stop that narcissistic shyster Lenigas (my view obviously) getting his grubby paws on anything more than he's entitled to as a shareholder I'd do my level best.
That would be nice @Bannor. Though I can see various avenues which don't necessarily involve issuing new shares to take us from 27% to 49% should the opportunity arise. Though you may disapprove! LoL.
...I'm just hopeful that just for a change when additional financing is required to get us from 27% to 49% that we PI's get the opportunity to partake in a placing to do so (underwritten if necessary) rather than it all being done behind closed with the usual suspects & buddies leaving us locked out ..... again....
Maddog - This isn't a small investment though. From what I read Cadence needs to invest 30 million $ to get to 49%. There is a part that says if Cadence don't put in 30 million indo sino has a 12 month option to buy back the investment at 1.5 times the price paid.
Once this 30 million is invested, then there is also another 80 million to be invested (I am not sure fully by us or it will be part funding).
Of course there will be other costs to bare. It is a unique opportunity but not a small investment.
I can see your point of why other big players haven't touched it but sometimes luck favours the brave?? It does come with significant debt and litigation I guess.
But an encouraging sign is Jindal Group trying to get it. I belive they have significant assets and relatively large and to me it seems like they retain an interest.
Raising funds will be a challenge but if pulled off would be nice wouldn't it?
PMSL..... & joke post of the month goes to .... LoL
I would suggest others read & understand the projects legally formalised debt settlement, reinvestment & reinstatement plans
MRC/ l just cannot see the Brazilian letting a small company like ours that is in a JV with another company walk away with 130million$ per year profit for 14 years for so little input , mind you they are one of the most corrupt governments in Latin America ? but there again l hope they do,
That trade was dated yesterday so must have only just got filled...
Perhaps they shelled out for this recent report and decided to take the gamble?
