You have just reminded me that I did once notice DU over on the other forum, but I couldn't remember his screen name there.
That would explain why rbonnier, when responding to highlyunlikely, denied having any more than two other accounts, in particular being jtsouthern146 - which he is.
They will lose 90% of their members by kicking out the one, by the sounds of it :)
I thought DU stated yesterday though, that he posts as HighlyUnlikely on the ADVFN board.
Good to have you back on this board, don't let it all torment you in any way.
'Welcome back Longwait.. Where have you been?'
I informed the administrators some months ago that I would not post another comment until they removed TheShen, which they did very recently, after he had bombarded the PVR board with 700 crude, insulting, idiotic posts, including a link to a picture of dog excrement.
I then posted more than 10 comments on this board, all of which were removed just hours ago.
I suppose you didn't get a chance to read them.
Yes, MadCrann - I'm still spotting patterns.
I just took a look at our sister site and there has been a big spat between highlyunlikely and kakapo1, with personal insults flying and even accusations of having multiple accounts.
Highlyunlikely called kakapo1 a 'snowflake,' the same insult as TheShen directed at me, and kakapo1 accused highlyunlikely of being longwait.
rbonnier asked highlyunlikely to calm down, denying that he has multiple accounts - apart from vampirekitten and catswhiskers.
kakapo1 has used 'clowns' pejoratively, as have TheShen, ranger4, StanleyPro, catchingmice, catswhiskas and vampirekitten.
Most of the comments posted over there are posted by one and the same person, a situation which at times has also existed on the PVR forum here.
The administrators do nothing about it, possibly because they are afraid of losing most of their 'members'.
Welcome back Longwait.. Where have you been?
Nice to see you are still spotting patterns in people and trades, you spotted the 10,000 sells fairly well.
I don't know if JTS or Siggy reads this board but someone (vampire/RBonnier/catswhiskas?) might suggest to one or both they pick up the phone to JOG (details on the website) and see if common ground can be reached. If JTS is actually trying to help, then why would he not do this and let us know what transpires?
(DU)
I think I can help you out there, DU.
jtsouthern146 IS vampirekitten, catswhiskas, and rbonnier.
So you see that your suggestion is actually impossible - at least impossible for any normal person to do.
'Vk I have to say your way of calculation is a bit strange.'
Wouldn't you say having 25 plus accounts on two forums is a bit strange too?
For your information, I have posted a reply to rbonnier's post timed at 01:06 today, in which he alleged that I have a history of trying to discredit posters who don't agree with me.
The truth is that I have a history of exposing people with multiple accounts - in his case 10 plus on this forum alone.
Nicely explained, poortiming. Even vc should now be able to understand :-)
The two Jersey based directors (AB & RL) only sold enough shares to cover the cost of the new shares issued by JOG which they were entitled to buy @110p per share, so it would appear that the exercise of options is not a taxable event in Jersey. Another reason to want to live there. There's no CGT to pay on share sales either. Maybe that's why they decided to become residents of the holiday isle? Mind you, you need about a gazillion pounds to afford a house there, so no doubt they'll be holding out for top dollar when it comes to selling the Company. Sorry: "if".
Re the removal of posts, I'm not totally sure, but I think that if a post is removed by the administrators, the whole thread gets taken down. So non-controversial posts disappear as well as the one/s that "broke the law". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Va1oppIGs1E&ab_channel=BuddyHolly-Topic
And so the clock ticks on, as we all get older. I seem to have spent my life since first becoming involved with JOG in Aug 2015, wishing for tomorrow, next week, next month or next year. I don't think I'll look back on my period of ownership of shares in this company (assuming I get the chance to) with any great fondness. I hope I and all the others who've suffered - many in silence - as we keep getting told there's been an incredible increase in shareholder value (show me the money) - at least get to bank something worthwhile before we die. I'm a bit fed up with all the talk and could do with a bit more action - preferably action the rest of the world thinks is positive.
A thought occurred to me that many people appear to be convinced JTSouthern and Siggy on the other board are experts in the field of oil exploration and production and it has to be said the language they use and their familiarity with the subject supports the view they do indeed have a background in the industry and their views on how difficult it is going to be for JOG to find a farm-out partner should at least be considered. I'm lost on the technical detail as, I guess, are most others. I spoke with JOG about the subject recently and the comment I got was along the lines: "everyone is entitled to their own opinion. As we've made progress, we've set everything out as clearly as we can, made it clear what work has been done and by whom and the conclusions that have been reached. If someone has a different view and wants to discuss this with us we'll be happy to talk with them".
I think I need to give it a rest for a while...........
dyor
Many thanks poortiming
vk - Well I clearly don't understand then how it all works because how I see it is.
If I had 20000 options at £1.10 and the strike cash price is £1.40 I would benefit by 30P per share giving me a total of £6000 .If then I was to take all of that money in shares it would be 6000÷1.40 = 4285 not 2091.
Where am I going wrong ?
He sold 17909 shares @ £1.393. This covered the purchase of the 20000 options @ £1.10 as well as coving the tax implications of doing so. This left him with 2091 shares to add to his pot.
It's against the rules of this forum to open multiple accounts.
I have identified 11 accounts on LSE belonging to TheShen / vampirekitten, as well as 13 on the other forum.
He has now admitted that he has multiple accounts on the other forum.
It must be obvious to everyone, including the administrators, that he has multiple accounts on this forum.
Instead of removing them, the administrators have removed my posts pointing out the breaching of their own rules.
They allowed TheShen to pollute this forum with 700 posts before removing him, and now they are shooting down the person who is exposing his multiple accounts.
...and you have to concede VKs last(10:59) post is spot on in the first sentence. The last question is presumably rhetorical. There, now I can get deleted too.
LONGWAIT I'm certain you read VKs material. I am inclined to agree your analysis was probably largely correct. Even DUs repost of his post elsewhere was not typical of his tone here. I expect the moderators treat any posts engaging in the same debate that gets out of hand with an even hand and delete them all.
In my post last night, I reported that rbonnier admitted yesterday to being catswhiskas and vampirekitten, identifications which I had already made in my recent posts here.
Is this revelation more than the administrators can bear to read?
Yup, the intemperate language threshold appears to have triggered a few deletions last night. Keeping it civil is worthwhile even if there are those on here with agendas anda plentiful
(Cyril2)
What intemperate language?
I posted facts.
All my posts - more than ten - have been deleted, including an update last night.
Even my post yesterday about my views on the company - which was completely uncontroversial - has been removed.
Well I clearly don't understand then how it all works because how I see it is.

Agree re Moxon.
However, many employees did get cash from the company for the sale of the options as stated. [240,000 options and 19,074 shares.]
Your long post of last night suggested someone took c 3%, 500,000 is only just over 1.5%, but it disappeared along with Longwait's entertaining posts when the broom came out overnight.
Well it looks like you're talking nonsense vampirekitten, because Mr Moxon took up his full entitlement - as did all the other directors and the current and former staff. If you read (right to the end) what was set out in yesterday's RNS, hopefully the situation will become clear to you. The giveaway is where it says (in Mr Moxon's PDMR notifiation) that he exercised 20,000 options at 110p a share, which happens to be the same number of options he held following the 2016 award. Funny that. You must be very confused if you think a Company gives option holders cash instead of shares when options are exercised. That's not how it works I'm afraid. Not one of your better efforts from a cerebral perspective, vc/RBonnier/catswhiskas/whatever. Have you ever considered seeing a psychiatrist? All three of me is being serious - we think all of you might find it therapeutic :-)

Well it looks like one of the directors took some of his entitlement in cash rather than buying the full amount in shares .It would appear that Mr Moxon took half in cash and the other half in shares .
One of the non exec directors selling and taking 30P what a great vote of confidence that is !
