I think I would rather have them separately JLP. A spontaneous quarterly report, putting meat on the South African success. A copper update in November confirming Roan up and running, soon to be at full pelt, coupled with news on the elephants. Maybe dissected by a broker report and a new deal to boot. Followed by news on the riches in Cyprus. All I hope very likely. Throw in the end of year financials and hopefully we should have some good momentum.
I do expect an update. My only concern is that it isn't produced in October and rather November (possibly with the announcement of the AFS and AGM) to coincide with Roan being fully commissioned.
Time will tell
By the way JLPp, Great reminder of WB investing principles, especially on the AIM.
Mikie, I believe some sort of update should be due from the in-house broker.
JLPp, do you think Jubilee will issue a quarterly ops update? When I contacted inv relations in Mar/Apr, I was told ops updates were 6monthly. Is it likely we will get more specific updates?
Shiner, does this mean more news is imminent? On the back of recent news can’t believe they have not released an updated note. I believe this is a strong hint there’s more to come before an updated broker note is released. He has admitted to being silent before, due to being on the inside!
Hopefully a 1st quarter operations update in the next 2 weeks will be the spark that lights the fire.
Something I try to live by now are the ten tips for investing given by Warren Buffett:
1. “Rule No.1: Never lose money. Rule 2: Never forget rule No.1.”
2. “Price is what you PAY. VALUE is what you get.”
3. “Only buy something that you’d be perfectly happy to hold if the market shut down for 10 years.”
4. “We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful.”
5. “Risk comes from not knowing what you’re doing.”
6. “If you are not willing to own a stock for 10 years, do not even think about owning it for 10 minutes.”
7. “We don’t have to be smarter than the rest. We have to be more disciplined than the rest.”
8. “Cash combined with courage in a time of crisis is priceless.”
9. “If you have more than 120 or 130 I.Q. points, you can afford to give the rest away. You don’t need extraordinary intelligence to succeed as an investor.”
10. “Unless you can watch your stock holding decline by 50% without becoming panic-stricken, you should not be in the stock market.”
Doesn't that mean the company has to release more information for him to get a fuller understanding?
From 24 Aug. I wonder how long Paul Smith needs to have a 'fuller understanding '?
WH Ireland is presently keeping its forecasts under review, for the time being, until it has a fuller understanding of the final agreement. Nevertheless, the stockbroker believes it will be value-enhancing.
Smith described it as “a demonstration, once again, of how Jubilee can take unwanted assets (plants or tailings) and create a viable production, revenue and profit centre.”
“This is not the first time Jubilee has shown this level of sophisticated, low-capex, deal-making and we anticipate not the last.”
Morning NTD, yes I agree a strong share price run is due. I feel it will end up being a combination of news that does the trick. Quarterly news, followed by a broker note, followed by a cobalt and copper update! Cobalt being the very interesting one as I believe this could be the ace up our sleeve and really add to the bottom line. We start meaningful production in just 4 week ( approx). Couple the cobalt, copper and PGM updates and this could easily hit mid thirties by end of year. This has to be driven by Jubilee with regular updates, get the pen out Leon! I’m also hopeful of more deals in Zambia, don’t think we’re any where near finished there! Plus Leon has indicated more business in Eastern Limb. So much news flow to come, that share price run is coming, ridiculously cheap at this price, for such a profitable company, about to dramatically upscale profits!!
Hi Mikie
Agree there are a lot of potential triggers. I am hoping for the copper production update, a revised broker note and of course news on another deal in Cyprus - in the next week or so would be ideal.
We are due a strong share price run - its just what the trigger will be I think.
I think we can get to mid twenties price and still consider ourselves very cheap. I am relaxed as in I dont worry, but also impatient - bad passenger syndrome I suppose.

In my opinion investors have no idea as to the profits Jubilee will make from copper and cobalt. Also I am not pessimistic that PGM's will take time to recover so overall Jubilee will now have major profits from 3 sources.Add chrome perhaps Cypress and Zinc etc.
We can all relax the share price can only go up
Sumo, there are potentially a lot of triggers here! Personally I am hoping for a quarterly report, highlighting the performance of the expanded Inyoni plant and new chrome plant. Without the Windsor costs, the numbers could be surprisingly good. A recovery in PGMs, particularly Rhodium which seems to be on the up. An updated broker note could set the pulses racing, taking into account the new increased copper and cobalt production, combined with the new improved Inyoni.I think the wider market has not got to grips with the copper and cobalt potential here at all! More details of the new improved time line would be most welcome, especially the elephants. Is there now plans to fast forward the elephants. Is chrome now making a note worthy contribution to the bottom line, with the recent increases in prices and substantial increase in production. Timeline and agreed deal for Cyprus. More deals in Zambia, update on expanding Sable. News of expansion into the Eastern limb. Maybe news on Tjate! The reality of this situation leads me to believe most if not all of this is simmering away under the surface and is ready to boil over! Positive and regular news flow is now needed and this will explode.
Just wondering what it’s going to take to get some momentum back in the SP! Roan going live maybe?
