Hi EOB
I guess everyone is different, I am very passionate about ITX or I would not be invested here, think that they have huge opportunities with current/future ingredients to become very successful company and be an integral part in many products, as they phase out the petrochemical ingredients and replace them with ours, may take a bit of time, but I am sure we will get there. As you say my glass is 3/4 full and your is 3/4 empty lol
Have a good weekend

Faith might be putting it strongly after the last few weeks! I’m less confident about H2 than some but that is down to the mixed messages (putting it kindly) coming out of the company.
I have a feeling the next RNS will be a positive one concerning a new client or new product going to market. Otherwise it will be a bumpy H2.
Profitability seems some way off in 2022 (H2) or even later, so we’ll all have to be patient.
Cheers.
Thanks EOB
Good to see you have faith in this share too.

Yes I certainly am, fortunately from the 1.5p days mostly, but have topped up and sold off chunks in between with mixed results. You’ve already referred to my posts as “negative” whilst I would maybe tag you as “rose-tinted optimistic” with occasional bouts of not-so-subtle ramping.
There is quite a lot of uninformed crap on this forum but compared to the ADVFN one it is relatively sane. I will call out some of the nonsense, as do others as it needs to be done.
Bon weekend.
For me, volatility is my friend as a long term investor. I'm confident of making a good return with ITX but you all need to decide the long run SP trend its that simple. If you believe it's going up you buy.....and vice versa.
Hi EOB
Just out of curiosity, are you invested here?

Just shows again that pi myth that ii are 'in the know' and they wouldn't have invested otherwise. They are comprised of human beings, who make mistakes. The wording of the last 2 RNS, would have had me cancelling my w/e rounds of golf with John Shaw, were I one of those said ii managers - and that's a sure thing !
LG is absolutely correct about R&D costs being sunk. They don’t necessarily have any ongoing value whatsoever! In ITX’s case this is not the case as they have very strong IP as demonstrated by the patented formulations. But Elsol and others are wrong to attribute value to this “at cost”. IP might be worth £60m but currently the market values the entire business at half that.
IP have dropped a massive bo((ock investing at the price they did. This is an undeniable truth I’m afraid. Long term I really hope it pays off for them but at the moment it’s a balls up by them as they could’ve invested now at half the money they lashed out. Simple maths.
You'd think they might beat around the bush a bit, instead of coming straight in with badly worded and punctuated criticisms !
Maybe an embittered Revolymer investor. There is a bunch of hyenas appeared on the ADVFN board performing in a similar fashion. One has quoted from this board, so I wouldn't be surprised if LG isn't another one of her many aliases.
You just need to look at LawrenceGarfield and since joining all he's done is talk down ITX. Clearly has another agenda. They are the ones you need to watch out for. Sadly it's so obvious. Try harder next time.
Sounds like ITX isn't the one for you. Perhaps it's better for you to move on. You will just give yourself ulcers and sleep depravation with the worry.
To LawerenceGarfield or Qwerty0
You still have not answered the question.
Can you enlighten me as to when I refresh my page here that your name changes from LawerenceGarfield to Qwerty0 and back take you are the same person, is this because you are a paid deramper ?
Just so we know the kind of person we are dealing with and filter you if necessary.

dotcom was full of that. vc's ended up cd's worth 5p coz a new one was 10p. historic money, debt, r&d are sunk costs. unless one day the ip produces cashflow. good to talk valuation rather than velocity of money.

It's the nearest professional investor yardstick on value on the share eg 12p. Most of us here probably don't have the management expectations insights and possible view on the customer pipeline as do IP Group. That's my point!
The historic investment in terms of the prior cash invested in the business and R&D for one thing!
if thier are such forecasts itx should release them. at 16P this was still a 70m mkt loss making business. today it's 27m loss making business. at 6p those folks need way over 250% gain on their price for a company who's business hasn't fundamentally change since since june. b/e will also get pushed out as rampant inflation pushes up costs given 35% gp holds. I'm still at around 9m/10m b/even. i love the products and mkt just want to buy at a good valuation. this is too high for me & just because a company needs 1m quid doesn't mean it's worth 12p.
incredible discount to what?
lol Smartinvestment noticed that but at some point they will wither away , still invested at 1.7p.
If you have been monitoring the trades this week you will have seen multiple buys over £10k through the week amongst the numerous little sells from PIs. As usual it’s the little fish who get jumpy whilst the bigger fish gobble up the shares at an incredible discount. Shares are a long term investment that go up and down - something a lot of new Covid-era investors seem to struggle to comprehend!
Excellent post Elsol

Don't forget that a professional intellectual property specialist investor, the IP Group, invested very recently again at about 12p. They will have had additional forecast cashflow and commercial insights into ITX than an average minority private investor..so that's the nearest solid benchmark on value of a minority shareholding in my opinion. IP Group are no mugs so they will be expecting a decent risk weighted 20% low end VC return per year at least over the next 2 to 3 years. Also bear in mind the historic cost of ITX investments in R&D and market development /access must be more than GBP60m right now which probably aligns at least to the 12p investment price. Hence 12p+ by end of the year looks where we are headed in the short term is my expectation, albeit some investors clearly don't like the oscillations in SP they get freaked out but you don't crystallise until you sell....remember it's never a good time to sell your house at the bottom of the market but here the SP upsides come much more frequently!
