Nige you've always come across as a decent sort of chap so I'm surprised that you've chosen to reference the Goldfinger post. Yes it MIGHT turn out to be true but as we both know it PROBABLY won't its not really worth mentioning. Anyway good news about the ADRs, the World Cup is just round the corner and I've just heard ITV have been nominated for some media awards.
Oh please, not the bid rubbish again Nige, next you'll be telling us unicorns are real.....dream on Nige.
Nige is this like the time you claimed to have inside information that the ITV Board were preparing for a hostile take over?
Why do you repeatedly try to start false rumours here? I get you are down by close to £1 per share in ITV but propagating lies and mistruths?
For anyone that may be interested.....
A ITV shareholder over on ADVFN discussion board Goldfinger16 claims to have a contact that claims that ITV will receive a takeover bid before Christmas of around 200p per share. Also, that the bidder won't be Liberty Global. Obviously, I cannot vouch for this posters information, but if you want to read his comments I enclose the link below.
https://uk.advfn.com/cmn/fbb/thread.php3?id=45154546
Nige the person who claimed to know me made the small error of saying I was from North London. Glaringly obvious error seeing as I have been very open about my love of CPFC. The rest was of course 100% kosher.
Angry is always this angry? Well I took a look at his posting history and he is on RMG doing much the same thing. Abusive posting to multiple posters.
Buying ITV at £1.04 was hardly the smartest move. It is going to take a battering before the end of winter. The Christmas schedule is out and it is the same faces. Ant and Dec, Paul O Grady, the Chase, Bradley and Son. Mix that up with Harry POTTER on every night between boxing day and New Year and you have the reason why ITV is haemorrhaging market share.
No new ideas. No imaginative formats. Game shows and garbage.
AngerSharkz...... "Seeing as though I bought in here a few weeks back at 104p I’m happy to let it sit in my portfolio and forget about it. As I said a few days ago the only person that gets angry or emotional about ITV is you….and your not invested here. You’ve just got some weird obsession."
Sharkz, just to update you on Tom with many aliases, a poster on this ITV forum claims to know Tom personally who asked us all not to respond to him because he is mentally challenged, apparently Tom lost his family inheritance in a company that Carolyn McCall was involved in, who he blames for his financial loss, hence the reason for his obsession with her being ITV's CEO. The poster also told Tom to stop making things up regarding his luxury lifestyle and job. most posters including myself felt sorry for Tom and I tried to advise him to go and see his GP for help. Sadly Tom didn't listen and his behaviour got worse. You can lead a horse to water...
To my cost, I found out the hard way that it's best not to argue with an idiot he will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience. Soooo true.
So much anger.
You ITV holders are so bitter that you missed out over the last 18 months. My RDSB dividends payout on the 20th. Nice revenue earner during Covid and only looking to get better as oil and gas supply cannot meet increases in demand.
Yes the Naked trader has been mentioned 100x before. Still no bid.
Spamming the forum repeatedly with the same baseless conjecture week in, week out, ruins the experience for those of us not invested here. Serious investors who want quick returns. Not just an endless stream of gushing praise.
Please try to stay relevant. Not repeat yourselves endlessly and stop all the personal attacks. Act your age boys.
Nobody wants to silence Nigel. It is more the other way. The Nige fan club and stalwart holders want to silence the people who do not buy into their overly cautious way of investing. They resent the success of the smarter investors here.
All we ask is Nige keeps up with his good posts but restricts the amount of spam he posts. We do not need trades listed and silly speculation about bids, share price manipulation and Goldman Sachs . Stick to facts people. Not ludicrous conjecture. Thank you
Yes for goodness sake do not discourage Nige from posting . We have far few decent informative posters on this board .
AngerSharkz.... "Good to see decent people coming forwards here to support informative posters like Nige. Unfortunately in my brief time on the boards you realise they’re dominated by pathetic sad trolls like Tom, they’ve never achieved anything in their life so they spend their days living out a fantasy on an investment chat board, it’s the only thing that gives their life meaning….it’s sad really.
Keep up the informative posts Nige, you seem like a decent bloke to me. Always remember that the intelligent investors will be appreciating it."
Sharkz, I agree with all of your above comments. And thanks for your kind words. Cheers mate.
Is todays rise the Christmas rally?
P
I have no need to filter Nigel. Happy to read all comments here and shoot down the unrealistic claims of some of the less emotionally stable.
No way on earth Nige is getting his £1.70 purchase price here. Painful but true
BilesaBall..... "NigeCo, please don't let the bullies win. Keep posting your informative ITV articles, they save me time having to find them myself."
BielsaBall, thanks for your support mate, it's nice to see that there are some decent people posting comments. I have no intentions of not posting on topic comments about ITV mate. Troll comments are like water off a ducks back to me. Although, I've decided to not waste anymore of my time reading & replying to them as I've filtered them. I'm pleased to see that you've also found the filter option above, I hope that other posters follow suit. Thanks again and good luck.
@ WN2020 & Tom, reading recently the thought had crossed my mind that you are one and the same.
I also would have to agree Raky. Too many similarities not to be the same poster.
WM2020, Nige, now you think people posting on this board are aliases for Tom, you are showing all the classic symptoms of paranoia Nige, can't be good for your mental health. May I suggest you take some time away from posting on LSE and ADVFN, stop tracking every ITV trade/online article etc, in time you will see clearly again.
WM2020, your above comment would prove that you're the one stalking NigeCo on LSE and ADVFN. I find your comments insulting and disgusting, uncalled for bullying. Please don't reply to my comment I have filtered you and your alias BournemouthTom.
NigeCo, please don't let the bullies win. Keep posting your informative ITV articles, they save me time having to find them myself.
Hi, I don't post on the site normally just have a general read every now and again.
@ WN2020 & Tom, reading recently the thought had crossed my mind that you are one and the same.
Your asking Nige to stop posting but what about you guys, you don't provide any useful information and Tom is constantly trying to gloat about other investments he supposedly has. Honestly why are you here?
If you have no intrest in the company why don't you just give it up, this strange sort of kick you are getting from attempting to upset other investors is childish and weird. If you've got nothing good to say then don't, it is December and the season for joy, at least give it up for Christmas.

WM2020 aka TomTit......... FILTERED
Thanks for the concern WM. I woke up in the centre of Edinburgh this morning. Short 5 minute walk into work. Had a lovely game pie and glass of red wine last night at the Rose street Brewery. Living the Dream.
Nige remembering everyone's posting history, now that's being obsessed, you really need to get a life, maybe try gardening, golf etc, just a suggestion.
NigeCo, You quote my 2 valuations. We are all entitled to different opinions. My second "valuation" was in response to your good friend Tom saying the shares were not worth anything like £1. I was being ironic suggesting his valuation was rather off target Forgive my poor sense of humour. CONFIRM my opinion ITV are worth £1.20
Nige can remember every post here by every person????Slightly OCD.
I thought it was only me that he kept copious notes about (he knows my holdings better than I do).
Ironknut 11 Nov........."Latest good results for ITV seem to me to suggest fair value to be about 120"
Ironknut 30 Nov........."ITV is worth £1 lets be reasonable.."
SimplyWall.St..... Fair value 250p. https://simplywall.st/stocks/gb/media/lse-itv/itv-shares
My fair value 160p.
Come on Bournemouth Tom, ITV is worth £1 lets be reasonable.. That is almost exactly what it is worth. More if they ever improve yhe product they are selling. Think we both agree no sign of that happening.
