That's from 15th of August, but only reported to INFA today. Bit naughty.
Nobby is that you
Yep - guessing that's you Nobby :)?
New TR1.
One more for dinner JW. :)
I agree with Chris. The EU wouldn't act petulantly and hold back on funds. The EU are the grown-ups in the room. But then we don't want to be talking politics on a nice forum like this do we?
Chris,
Sorry mate but in my view that is exactly what the EU would do and will do despite your sources in Brussels.
My opinion is that we will leave on the 31 October unless the EU agrees to a deal which is still possible, there would be no reason to stay any longer and leave the UK economy in a state of limbo. This needs sorting now one way or the other, it cannot go on.
My view stands that the EU will not release the funds, certainly not before the 31st October, why would they!!!
I believe that Infa will receive the funds but it will not happen in the next few weeks.
I hope I am wrong and we receive before the end of October, there does not seem to be any plausable explanation of why we have not already received these monies, other than the EU dragging it's feet?
If you remember JW intimated that the funds would be heading our way after the holiday season, therefore September onwards, still no sign!! why not? how long does it take to sign off a grant for a piddly 1.6M £ tha should have been signed off mid 2019???
Ridiculous.
Mr T
I am sorry fella's but in know way would the EU hold back funds for political reasons. As someone who has dealt with EU organisations on a match funding basis we will receive any due funds when due process has taken place.I will also have to say that we will not be leaving on the 31st October there will be an extension my sources in Brussels tell me they have been thinking of making it 12 months. Finally in my opinion we will never be leaving the EU - sorry to disappoint !!!!!!
With regards the future for INFA the future is good.
Notification in today's pres regarding the UK leaving the eU on 31 October 2019.
EU Funding
The UK government has guaranteed that UK organisations will continue to receive funding over their projects lifetime if they have successfully bid into EU funded programmes up to the end of 2020. Payments can extend beyond 2020.
Seems to me the EU are deliberately holding back guaranteed funding to UK projects until after the 31 October 2019, if we then leave without a deal it will fall on the UK government to issue the funding.
Therefore I'm sure this will be the case and we won't see the 1.6M until at least November.
Any views?
Mr T
HI si i just checked my account i was lucky i got 250000 for .047 makes up a bit for my eariler 500000 buy at 0.51.7 strange i upped my but to 0.48.5 dont know what happened as i got 0.47 have a great night a first for me to get cheaper than i ask for
Did you place a limit order on or doing it live. You could have got just under .48 between 3 and 3:30 but it's pop up again now.
FWIW, I'm half expecting an RNS in the morning regarding the FSRU project. We had a minimum period of three months from the 9th of July with "extensions possible" under the terms of the Agreement. Even an RNS to say they are extending the period of the Exclusivity Agreement.
We shall see, I guess.
Si
HOPE SO STILL WANT 0.49 APPROX thanks si _derman
Watching the 5 min chart on investingdot com there are buys coming in @.48 so youy be in luck.
I see that seems like a afternoon thing of late here . Im trying to get 0.48 still waiting looks like the biggger buyers come first . At these prices a whiff of good news and we will fly
some nice buys after three o'clock.
VITOL do not have there own shipyard but they have a business partner close to home that does!
Risks are pretty mitigated as well with the H & W purchase as they have stated the IM project isn't necessary for it and JW has been a key player in turning around a shipyard before from about the same kind of number of employees to what he forecasted so even worst come worst there is 12m worth of assets at H & W on a mcap of 7.5m so still undervalued anyway
Hi tango agreed what you saying there . ALL i know if we get the go ahead we will have a multi bagger if not we wait . We all know what we are doing risk/reward etc . Safest way is to see if we get passed but you would lose thousands that way on any rises / happy to take my chances win - lose - or draw at this price
It is all about the risk reward, You buy in at the story stage for maximum potential or you wait untill it is all done and miss out on a few hundred/thousand %. IMO
You can't make an omelette without cracking eggs, we have gone from 1.1 bill to 1.5 bill shares in issue but due to this we have completed all milestones to date and got two more potential projects and a shipyard that will potentially finance future projects- We have 2 Key Milestones left Marine permit and FID in that order, and all the information to date shows the Marine licience should be given, with it looking increasingly likely we are leaving without a deal- the H&W and IM project is going to secure a lot of jobs in NI and will help local businesses. I understand there are other milestones but these are the 2 that will give the significant rises. IMHO
I read Olderandwiser's Sunday 20.58 post with great interest. More or less, he got it right. Huge dilution over the past year and a half or so and we still rest with very important matters to complete.
The facts are that no company has an irrevocable commitment to the Isalndmagee project. Vitol haven't committed to putting up any finance and ,although we've heard a lot of talk no debt or equity provider has been identified, much less shown us the colour of their money. The latest dreadful Riverfort finance deal is a very dilutive disappointment. It is all the more surprising when INFA is discussing the raising of hundreds of millions and it can only raise £700k on such awful terms!
What has been clear since the "stalwarts",(someone called them!), sold up in JAN -FEB with some advice from a broker and perhaps from "inside" is that the Marine Licence is key to every important facet of the Islandmagee project. No licence equals the" delay, delay, delay"that O &W refers to. In the meantime we have become involved with two more projects which demand extra millions of finance. I don't, in principle, have any problem with that but I would like to have seen the Islandmagee project much closer to FID first, although that may have been difficult to accommodate in realion to H&W.
We haven't had a RNS in the passt year that has had a substantial and sustained upward effect on the SP. Our BOD,(short for JW), looks to be proactive and hard working but it doesn't appear to understand the AIM market. AIM is for today. That's it! Any uncertainty and the holders of any particular share suffer.
What is likely to happen next? 1. INFA will declare a failure to meet due diligence in H&W by the end of the month thus putting the remaining 2019 finance back to the end of December. 2. The EU finance will marerialise before the end of this month. (And, more hopefully), thereafter the new Chairman will be named as the the Marine Licence is granted and the Debt and Equity , (a lot of that I think), step up to the plate. Well I hope so!
This post should be read with a reread of Olderandwiser's post of Sunday 20.58.
NICE sells lets get them out the way . Order in for last top up at 0.48 we see . if i dont get it im fine . i feel most of the shares they had is done here by tmw . Hopefully we will see a tick up lots of news to hit

Yes....some good tales...will tell you over a few beers one day maybe at an Infa presentation.
Hi tango think you find older and wiser has always been negative on most shares . Maybe thats the way he gets his shares to put doom in peoples heads so they sell and he buys cheaper . At the moment infa is hitting the right spots and with mr wood behind it we are going places . We have so much news coming up who would want to be out of it , Ok for longs its been a long journey and i hope they get there rewards . As i said im new here so my average is fine compared to some . But i had some shares years and newcomers come along and buy a lot cheaper than i did but thats all part of the game and hopefully my old shares will reward me well . I will add today half a block and keep some powder dry all the best all . Things are loooking up
