for all the continuing talk of dilution, if debts are manageable and flexible with a fast rising income then correcting the balance sheet will happen at a much more mature SP..
Story Time:
The donkey told the tiger, "The grass is blue."
The tiger replied, "No, the grass is green."
The discussion became heated, and the two decided to submit the issue to arbitration, so they approached the lion.
As they approached the lion on his throne, the donkey started screaming: ''Your Highness, isn't it true that the grass is blue?"
The lion replied: "If you believe it is true, the grass is blue."
The donkey rushed forward and continued: ''The tiger disagrees with me, contradicts me and annoys me. Please punish him."
The king then declared: ''The tiger will be punished with 3 days of silence."
The donkey jumped with joy and went on his way, content and repeating ''The grass is blue, the grass is blue..."
The tiger asked the lion, "Your Majesty, why have you punished me, after all, the grass is green?"
The lion replied, ''You've known and seen the grass is green."
The tiger asked, ''So why do you punish me?"
The lion replied, "That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is degrading for a brave, intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with an ass, and on top of that, you came and bothered me with that question just to validate something you already knew was true!"
The biggest waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who doesn't care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions. Never waste time on discussions that make no sense. There are people who, for all the evidence presented to them, do not have the ability to understand. Others who are blinded by ego, hatred and resentment, and the only thing that they want is to be right even if they aren’t.

"Fugazi so you don't own iag but bang on about how it will drop and another RI"
The market, brokers and even the CEO has warned of a RI. What more warnings do you need?
You a lil smpl thr wooden top? Lmfao
Instead of you lot getting wound up by Abbot and Costello just filter them and everyday is a green day
bb, your answer as expected. What you really mean is every post you put on here must be treated as unadulterated crap unless proved otherwise. Ready for another quiet weekend?
can't remember predicting 300, but I bet it was a while ago. There have been significant negative events since. It is really quite pathetic to transpose a prediction, what, 6 months ago, before the summer season, and send it forward as if still valid.
As did I...Thank Fragile...he brought us all down to his level
Hey woody, does it give you wood, you know the morning thing, afternoon or evening, wanting to know my status outwith the financial markets?
In fact, keep that answer to your self.
Theses no propaganda, everything I state is in the media, I just regurgitate it.
As for 24/7, you're getting me mixed up with Zelda and her neverendum 200p. Lol.
Ps, RI cometh and its going to dilute, quite a bit. Yo!!
Good stuff, 164 high. IAG one of the few risers on my minerals and petros watchlist. A week of v. slow rebulding after the sell offs due to inflation, int rates and covis stuff and the odd Grecian volcano. If we start for a higher low -above 156 tomorrow we may be on our way again. Strange how HBR/ Tullow dropped lots on good oil prices. One oilman told me the amount o new regs esp. environmental ones are strangling the industry; so maybe that's it. Interesting week ahead.
Off to Japanese restaurant to see my chef friend in Fulham. A master with fish. Lilt for afters and After Eight mints
Now bb is it possible you can give an approximate date when this sp will be in the 300’s? In an earlier post you said before the end of the year and knowing a date will enable me to plough in some serious money just prior. Thanks in anticipation.
The market knows? I think the boiler room here know too. There has been a noticeable abandonment trying to deny that further dilution is a strong possibility. Whether it is an RI, debt swap or YA death spiral, it is very difficult to see how money is going to be injected to cover the lost seasons and income without dilution. There could be an asset stripping exercise of course. I don't see the banks extending credit, there has been enough of that already. The budget might have an industry support package surprise!
Highly dilutive RI soon. The market knows.
Welcome to fugazi bull... all mouth no investment
Yes it’ll certainly go up, they’re literally investing money and ramping up operations left right and centre. Net loss is the only interesting one, we’ll see what it says on the 5th….
If you want to panic about cash burn a ftse 100 company isn’t a great place to start, a newly registered company might be though?
Ouch, burny burny.
Net debt also increased from €9.8 to €12.1 billion as it drew down €2.0 billion for BA from a UK Export Finance credit facility and €75 million for Aer Lingus from the Irish Strategic Investment Fund.
IAG’s weekly cash burn was €190 million in Q2 and is expected to rise to €270 million in Q3 as capacity resumes.
I'm wrong about the 150m€ cash burn per week
Apologies.
Its 195m€ pw and its been said it could actually be now 270m€ pw. Ouch.
Ah ok, so you don’t have one, I did give you a freebie by correcting cash gone to cash burn for you. By stating €150m gone, you imply €150m loss, when infact during Q2 the net loss was just under half of that weekly while operating at about 21% capacity (which is significantly less than it is at current). I’d hazard a guess at the moment the operating flights are averaging 60-70%. So your figures are probably way off. Almost definitely still a net loss though, I got one do welcome your alternative viewpoint to a degree, but please make sure you get your figures correct, or at least close to correct before posting.
Is that what (little ) Fugassin said in his green line??? ahahah..He has no sauce!!!
it does not look good in a short term. It probably will gown in the next few days
Can you not read the accounts?
Ask zelda, she will tell you 200p
Ps. € its €
Fugazi can you post your source for £150m/wk of cash burn?
£1.60 close. A rise is a rise after all! Not if you are a shorter, of course, in which case you would feel like crying and going to sleep early! :))
Zelda, you're another loser from the FRR collapse. Lmfao
Another week floating by, another 150m€ burning away.
Cash in bank reducing substantially. Finances have to be raised very soon. ii's won't lose like retail mp's
