gino - normally when i hear rumours like yours on these boards my BS detector starts sounding. however what you say is potentially feasible - especially given the delays in announcing finance and forward plan. there are also question marks as to why the bod have decimated the SP with very badly devised rns since trice left - and the worry was always a sneaky sell off
"Crystal Amber don't want to do workovers. Bond holders don't want to commit to potentially forking out $100M on kicking a sidetrack and water injection, CPR isn't as bad but not worth the risk"
the CA part would surprise me as they seem to still believe in the Fractured basement. the bond holder bit i could easily believe in. the bit about the CPR could well be true too - i am sure it will be an improvement but maybe not enough considering the two existing wells disappointing
water cut performance.
i could definitely see someone after the tax rebate - and i suppose a takeover company could just run the existing well to bubble point and then move the AM on to another well. hur has been leaky in past so could possibly account for the recent rises .
very interesting. fascinated to see if any truth in it all
If it’s 10.5p for a takeover my kids are going to Disney next year!! That would make me a very happy man and just shy of £21k :-)
Would be amazing to have 20p but in a buyers market its only worth what people are prepared to pay.
Ask the question why this has been kitchen sinking repeatedly and kept at these levels.
Ask why nothing solid has been put out for future plan.
I'm simply repeating what I heard. I put some more money in today, ontop of my free ride.....we will find out soon enough. I certainly believed the source.
Fact remains the board hasn't got agreement for the workovers to be done and current production is going down with increased watercut (not rumour - look at the graph for last 12 months). No workovers no point.
Crystal Amber don't want to do workovers. Bond holders don't want to commit to potentially forking out $100M on kicking a sidetrack and water injection, CPR isn't as bad but not worth the risk
CA get a 15-17% ROI and bondholders get paid.
Make complete sense if the financing is at stalemate.
HUR debt now only $100m as cash in bank of $120m so any buy out should be + 20p
so you've made up a rumour and now your trying to justify it lol
It covers the outstanding CB's. That's why it's not more
This would explain why share price has been kept so low! But Hur is worth double that and getting more and more valuable everyday.
A bid of £210m only on the basis of the tax losses doesn't sound plausible.
Wrong price! Should be higher than 10,5
