update
Rem Trader has been alongside the rig for about the last 6hrs.
The wind has moved around and is now coming from the SE at 8 knots.
Geo Ocean underway, destination Warwick Survey area.
adoubleuk
Just to clarify. it wasn't a changeover, we had two safety vessel to begin with one has left for the Brea Field so we still have the cover of one vessel.
Weather perfect at the moment wind from the NORTH 10 knots.
The TOL or any rig/platform will have 24/7 errv cover. When an ERRV is due to leave location whether to head to port for crew change/maintenance or even to relieve another vessel another ERRV will arrive on location to relieve the vessel leaving. There will not be a time when an installation is without cover from an ERRV unless it’s critical to the safety of the vessel or crew to leave location.
Cebo,
"KJB is a supply vessel I believe, not sure what the EERV requirement is when conducting the EWT in relation to ERRV's, PSVs and FRB etc. "
There will be a 'safety boat' on standby in the vicinity all the time, as you know. Nothing specifically related to EWT. Without wishing at all to take wind out of Slipanchor's sails, because he seems to have become 'shipwatcher #1', the changeover of one standby boat for another doesn't signify anything special.
However his observation that a supply boat is alongside the rig does tell us one thing: the weather must now be OK.
The only specific thing I know regarding supply boats and EWT / DST is that they stay away from the rig while the well is flowing and flaring is taking place, but if required, may come alongside during shutin periods. However there seems to be nothing to indicate that DST testing has commenced yet.
Cebo yes, KBJ is an Offshore Supply Vessel just returned from Aberdeen.
KJB is a supply vessel I believe, not sure what the EERV requirement is when conducting the EWT in relation to ERRV's, PSVs and FRB etc. If anyone knows or remembers what the TL had last time it may be useful

I would have thought it a critical time to leave but I suppose contracts are contracts and as you say, we have still got cover.
KBJ has now moved alongside TOL.
Thanks Slip. Noted, still 1 ERRV (Celina) on location though.
Before I’m corrected hopefully a visual signal
Hopefully we are on track for news, in the next few days.
Standby Safety Vessel Esvagt Claudine is Leaving Warwick West for the Brea Field.
