Pestilence
@Swamp
Famine by any chance? ha
The way inflation is going, we can probably only afford one horseman.
@Bonker Flippin' Heck ... that's really NOT good
What will it take for POG to wake up and shine ? 4 Horsemen ?

Come on Gold ...
Look at these numbers - Jesus wept ...

It's transitory lol
What makes me laugh is that they're all looking at Turkey and saying that's what you get for lowering interests rates and printing cash in an inflationary environment lol
Glass houses and such
EU Producer Price Index (October)

Evening.
The - possible - problem with Silver is if (when IMO) the industrial downturn narrative kicks in, it'll very likely be hurt in the same way Copper will. It was that thinking that made me rebalance a touch out of HOC (thanks God!)/FRES and put more into pure goldies, including HUM, although I do still of course have my money spread around fairly widely.
Looking forward to another US jobs release on Friday and CPI next Friday - time flies huh - soon be 2022 :)
Mmoney, I got a nice top up in here too, coincidently also motivated by missing the HOC sale. Although I happened to have another look at at both silver and HOC today and can't help but think there looks to a second bite at the HOC cherry lining up. Maybe depending on your short to medium term view of silver, which looks even trickier to read right now than gold.
For clarity:
Agree with you, on, "HUM will come good", (IMO also).
BW
Still averaging into our HUM shareholdings, & will be for awhile yet, ShaunBTM,....as I have said before, building Core HUM (ISA's) shareholdings, for the second half of 2022 forwards,....agree, & very happy to be buying at these levels (s/p@14p to 20p levels).
BW
Well done to those that topped up and those that stayed in.
Never thought I'd see 14p here but that's miners and the AIM market for you. Thankfully, I didn't miss the top up opportunity here like I did at HOC :)
Onwards and upwards from here.
I always seem to get on the wrong side of the trade, but its partly because I have to sell coin from the business and then take it out as a director loan so I am reactive when buying rather than having a set amount.
I do think this will come good in spite of the BOD rather than because of them. Happy to add and hold.
Took another 10,000 HUM share tranche (s/p@14.39p) myself earlier today, ShaunBTM,....before the RNS ( https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/HUM/yanfolila-mine-operational-update/15233427 ) release,....good to know, that we are "ramping back up to normalised production levels".
BW
Yanfolila is their cashcow as well as ours remember and we've just added a couple or three years to the LoM so, yes, they're motivated.
Good to know we have the backing of the Mali government - they do own 10% afterall.
I enjoy reading all the ESG tweets from Hum operating in the local areas and making a difference for all stakeholders.
Yanfolila Mine is now back in operation following the intervention by the national Mali Government clearing illegal roadblocks and restoring public order in the region. Mali Government personnel are to remain in place as Yanfolila Mine ramps up to normalised production levels.
The company will provide a more detailed assessment of the recent disruption in due course.
Id happily take a 50p buyout - dont get me wrong I certainly think there is more to be had but between now and April I have another 10k ish to dump in my isa. Currently estimations I should have c.130k shares.
Cash out at 50p would be a 65k value which I could reinvest tax free in passive income. 3k plus is nothing to be sniffed at a year :D
Fantastic news mine reopens ... all safe and secure!
SP 18+ soon then or a few more days of rollercoaster in case we get too comfortable :-))

Size isn't everything :)
What next then?
Tidal wave in Mali followed by 50p T/O offer for Xmas?
In for another 12531 shares. No doubt it will drop as it usually does after I buy.
Brings my up to c.82k shares, a humble amount for some no doubt
Define rollercoaster ;)
This share is crazier than watching Tiger King at times...
Good news. So all those that sold on the last RNS, you are welcome to buy back now!
