@art I’m not sure if your a bit out the loop or trying to deramp but this years campaign starting later in the year isn’t a shock.
The update today is positive & all is on course. Do some research!
ART123,
Pipe down you absolute waste of space, you've popped you head up to drive the price down because you've missed the boat. Thats 12% you'd have gained had you had the guts to buy in already.
Todays interview was everything I needed to hear after the 6 weeks of no news. Its taking time, iys complex but its happening and work is ongoing. All we needed to hear
Back to 8p - and then sub 8p until they have a rig contract signed and that will need to be in enough time to drill this year before the wet season.
Leonidas1
Last year the rig was already in Tanzoania. See this link:
https://www.investegate.co.uk/helium-one-group-ltd--he1-/rns/appointment-of-drilling-contractor/202103220700079410S/
Note: Accelerated mobilisation with rig already in country.
I’m not sure you can compare the timescales in regard of the rig to last year- last year the majority of the 3 months after contracting the rig was transporting it to Tanzania which was problematic. The advantage if they have located a rig near to site is that there will be a very limited transportation period.
Good to know orders out, but I noticed no actual dates provided. Still hedging his bets on this year.
yeah it's me DM - nice to meet you chief deramper. go oil up your muscles for the next short squeeze.
Still a lot of very sceptical people on HE1 and the MINCH CREW and I understand that - fair enough and that is why we have buyers and sellers of the stock. Personally Im pretty positive about it all, but I understand the scepticism of this project becoming a major success and that is what we call for Buyers the RISK PREMIUM. For if the scepticism is correctly placed then the Buyers and Holders today lose the lot. If not, and the positives are correctly placed with a Helium Discovery eventually being announced then the upside will be so big so its a RISKY BET. Thats why we have buyers and sellers, positive people and negative people - all fair play.
christ - here's another one full of the FUD. Literally just listen to the interview that's just been posted 'somethings not right here at all' lol what a fearmonger. Then banging on about cash raises when they had $10m in the bank at the start of this year. fml. If you're dumb enough to believe these types of shysters then you're deserving enough to lose your money.
I don't for a second believe muscles or fart123 actually holds HE1 shares.
HE1 are completing their thorough due diligence because they don't want a repeat of the 2021 non-discovery / inadequate sized rig. Drill is happening for 2022 DM literally said so yesterday. They have more than enough cash to complete.
In truth, it is just not possible for the management to make such a huge fuss about getting a suitable rig. This has now gone on for months. And there have been lots of silly posters on this site looking at rigs in the USA and other places when all along they are going to use a rig from Tanzania.
Something is not right here at all.
This drill will only go ahead now this year after they appoint a drill contractor and provided that is within a time period to allow them to acquire all of the necessary long-lead items, etc.
I will believe it when I see it.
I will believe that this drill is going to happen this year at the point that the management appoint a drill contractor and not one minute before.
So far the management have been dragging their feet for months on end and talking of doing this but not getting it done.
And they did a placing last year, between contracting the rig and the mobilisation of the rig ,so that is very likely again this year.
My point is that if they contracted the rig next week, which doesn't sound the least bit likely and at the speed the management have been operating now for the last few months, it is definitely not likely, it could still take them another three months to spud and by then they might decide they are too close to the wet season to proceed safely.
No, this is definitely not sorted yet.
Yes, maybe a nice little quick profit for a few here with this non-RNS'd news but in reality it doesn't sound like this is sorted out at all as yet.
Also I cannot remember all this fuss about getting a rig last year. They just got on and got one arranged. And at 3.11 minutes into the interview when DM says "Interestingly,......." he is already preparing an excuse if they don't get any drilling done this year by potentially blaming delays on getting the long-lead items, which in the real world cannot sensibly be ordered until the rig is contracted. And anyone who has followed other drills this year will know that things are not operating smoothly. It will only take one set of items to not be available to scupper the plans completely.
Last year the Rig was contracted on 22cnd March - https://www.investegate.co.uk/helium-one-group-ltd--he1-/rns/appointment-of-drilling-contractor/202103220700079410S/
and as DM said in the interview today there are a few steps to go before they can contract the rig.
Last year drilling didn't start until 16th June, so that's nearly three months between contracting the rig and the start of drilling and now we are more than three months behind last year's operations.
I just cannot see why they are making such a huge fuss about getting a suitable rig but they are certainly creating plenty of possible excuses if drilling doesn't get done this year.
Bugger, was looking forward to the "why no news post wahahaaaaaaa"
@Helx, Muscles does'nt actually push any points other than you cant trust what DM says..
Helex2 - Or look at the statement from a glass half full perspective. Today's 12% rise it nothing to get excited about. This time last year it was 24. What is something to get excited about is if the 24p comes again on drilling, and you get in at about 9-10p........need I say whooo?
It's a long way to go till Christmas Muscles - but it will still happen !
You big sour puss - be happy for days like these - if you are actually invested you should be mindful that the negativity you output can catch in to others - ie you influence the chances of others to sell and thereby impact your own investment. It’s why I get irritated by doubting posters and also why it’s a n employed strategy from those who want lower entries / those who are shorting shares.
looks like all engines go. sp is flying, as it should.
good luck and have fun all. lets not repeat our pain as per first round. I still remember the day the RNS came out (no discovery) and the pain, finger pointing, anger etc on this board - it was a sad day. hopefully no repeat this time round.
is seagullsfan still around?
Good to hear Mike Williams in there with David this morning, and the confirmation that the rig preparation for audit is moving along, and equally importantly, the ancillary gear is ordered and in process now, rather than when the rig is given the ok. Positive start to Q3
On cue, a timely update by DM of what is happening given we're now at the first day in Q3. Hopefully that's reassured some of the more twitchy investors that everything is still happening as planned for the drill this year... really glad to see the high levels of due diligence going into it this time around - nice for DM to have some internal support on these update interviews too. HE1 know they need to give themselves zero margin for error re a formal discovery this year. I'm more and more confident they'll succeed.
Short but interesting.
So their Drilling Superintendent is Mike Williams from Midak Engineering, confirming our earlier suspicions of their connection. He sounded pretty upbeat about the progress of the rig audit, also confirming it to be the Atlas Copco rig as had been suggested before, and it's already in East Africa so that's good news. Sounds like a good thorough overhaul and testing going on so there won't be any nasty surprises = downtime, when they start drilling.
And DM sounded much more relaxed/less stressed as evident with barely a stutter. Maybe he just doesn't like 'in person/on camera' but clearly much less stressed, that suggests to me that he is much happier with where HE1 is now than the last time we heard him and that can only be good news.
Still a way to go and anything could or couldn't happen but at least they appear very confident they will drill this year as intended.
Happy days, hopefully.
