Fantastic piece of work, thank you very much for this! Happy to be here, LTH for maximum gains !
...and your point Tymers?
TT. Most if not all understand the importance of Haverion to both Newcrest & more so GGP
As many will know, I've been stressing the issues at the Harmony Gold Mining & Newcrest Mining joint venture project, Wafi-Golpu in Papua New Guinea for well over a year now. Wafi-Golpu is one of Newcrest Mining's growth projects, just like Havieron.
Harmony's latest operational update today gives no better news on achieving the required Special Mining Lease.
https://www.harmony.co.za/invest/company-announcements/2021/item/1243-operational-update-for-the-nine-months-ended-31-march-2021
The company said in its update that an Environment Permit granted by the PNG Conservation and Environment Protection Authority in December would fall under National Court scrutiny. This was after the Governor of Morobe province in PNG and the Morobe Provincial Government lodged a judicial review of the permit. The Environment Permit is an important prerequisite for the all-important grant of a Special Mining Lease.
My point is, and has always been, that this continuing delay, which doesn't look like it's going to be resolved soon, does throw a bigger light on Havieron, since it's now even more necessary in Newcrest Minings's growth portfolio.
Havieron is vital for the growth plan at Newcrest, and, unlike Wafi-Golpu, Havieron is, of course, in one of the lowest risk and safest mining jurisdictions in the world.
@Sliotar
"I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what they have been brought in for. None whatsoever. But the market seems to know. And until we know for sure, regardless of what the current situation we believe the company to be, the market is going to price in a dilution."
1. The market knows nothing. It's all speculation just like on this board.
2. Why do you think appointment of this broker points to an equity raising, when the previous broker appointments didn't? There was no equity raising after H&P and Berenberg were added.
Here's what Shaun Day said as to why the new broker was added:
" We look forward to working with Canaccord, developing relationships with their clients and attracting new institutional shareholders to Greatland."
Here's what Gervaise Heddle said about adding H&P and Berenberg:
" and we look forward to working with both firms to further strengthen our relationships with new and existing institutional shareholders."
Sounds the same to me, and it didn't trigger an equity raising back then.
3. Why would we need a new broker to do an equity raising, anyway? I'm pretty sure that H&P could handle that easily, and if they couldn't, it's locked on that Berenberg could.
4. Why do we need a raising, anyway? We've financed Hav expenses with NCM, NCM is paying for PRE drilling right now, and GH just exercised 27 million options which put another half a million in, and we had cash on hand anyway.
No personal attacks but you really need to answer those questions if you want us to take your talk of a raising seriously.
Hi Hydro. I think $400/500/oz in ground is a slight conservative for such an advanced project but fair. ATB Speedy
Hi H2, Tropicana is a producing mine and has 7 years of life as i understand, so Rigis will take profit as soon as the deal is completed which is the main reason for such a higher figure. Ciao DM
it would be great if the projected figures talked about on here could be added to ggphelp, and with updates so we can see progress, and look bad to what was said as anouncements are made. On Paddy's latest it would be nice to see a table of what is extra to the MRE from the drill results so we can compare.
Yup fair point. But you can call it whatever you want.
I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what they have been brought in for. None whatsoever. But the market seems to know. And until we know for sure, regardless of what the current situation we believe the company to be, the market is going to price in a dilution.
Hi Tymers. Be interesting to see your projections on working capital needed to take us to production using figs assuming drill program and running costs stay as planned. ATB Speedy
Silotar. Your terminology should read Working Capital required rather than Fundraise. What Working Capital do we need?. I have my figures based on Cash Position, Establishment costs and ongoing own tenements, whats yours?
Hi Sliotar. The market (algos) look at all aspects, trends, valuations, market activity including discussions. Do not be afraid of a fund raise. If we have a fund raise it will be for asset purchase not life style funding and will add value. I trust the BODs to make the right decisions. The only people worried are short term traders not investors. ATB Speedy
What " queue" are to talking about? Or should it be " cue". And we are supposed to take you seriously.
What part of what I said do you disagree with?
We have 30% of millions of ounces. And any hint of a fundraise dilutes not only that 30% but the entire SP of GGP. That's all I am saying, and that is what the market has been pricing in.
Apologies. Spell had other ideas.
Sliotar. I disagree and whilst the majority of posts are to instil confidence or seek re assurance there are one or two posters who look at the Financials as much as the Geology, after all as many have stated we have millions of ounces, Pog is only going up as such I think we can move on from the Geology and yes discuss GGP's financials, ongoing strategy but as always this is not what Retail Investors want to read but Institutions certainly do!
The only personal attack I have is that I wish you would use the right word - I assume you meant to use the word Cue
So why ask the board your questions then. Why don't you ask GGP direct and tell us what they tell you. Cut out the middle man completely and stops you moaning.
P.S.
Queue personal attacks.
Every Broker we appoint risks a fundraise. More gold = higher share price. More shares = lower share price.
The ramping is back today like it has been since Jan, along with the excuses as to why we are falling (market in general is falling etc)
I asked questions and was told to shut up or that I was trying to drive the SP lower. This is going to become very painful until we know why this broker was appointed. Asking questions as a Shareholder is perfectly legitimate. I now want to know what is going on, and like I have been saying, the market has been telling us something that this board has not.
Brilliant imagery. Thanks PaddyBottle for putting that together. A really great overview of where GGP are at and what is coming.
Paddy, this is great and thank you so much for sharing. I learn so much from this board and I am grateful to so many that contribute constructively as it has given me the strength and understanding to hold for several years and be well on track to allow my 3 children to go to university. Please ignore all the negative posting and for those that are attacking others I hope that whatever is causing them to act in this manner is resolved soon as they cannot be happy. I have really enjoyed reading this board over the years but recently it is draining. Good luck to all and can’t wait for September!
I agree and admit I did get a bit shirty today, I put it down to the share price it affects us all, yes I know it's the future that counts and will bring huge returns for investors. But daily drip drip is like Chinese water torture, well done all those that can sit back and not be affected in anyway by this constant sp control !
Maybe not unselfish then mate but we all benefit from the work so a thank you isn't amiss , I definitely appreciate both of their very unique efforts on GGP.
Paddy provides so much research most of us miss somehow, Bottle really helps new investors out with the GGPhelp web site, admins the telegram groups and puts in so much effort on other content creation. They have really helped keep spirits up over the last few months.
I add my appreciation and thanks to both :-)
Spats and squabbles on here again.
Lots of filters added today.
I think of the filter button as a form of pain free colonic irrigation.
In other news I continue to be very appreciative of Paddy, Bamps inter alia and the info you bring. I think of your contributions as a kindly stroke of our furrowed brows.
