I only started trading recently and i have used up all my ISA allowance for this financial year ...so more for the tax man (as if i'm not already paying enough)
IALIS
I, like you, am an inexperienced trader.I have used IG trading as well and bought and sold Artemis twice -both at a profit (probably more by luck than judgement ) .It is relatively straightforward but if it is appropriate for you it may be worth putting it in an ISA to reduce any tax payable. Please don't take the last piece as formal /professional financial advice but it may be worth checking with a financial adviser about using an ISA Jonno
JET 47/ LENS....THANKS!! That's really useful
Hi, welcome, I don't know about HGL but you can buy and sell Artemis Resources, ARV, on II, Interactive Investor,
https://www.ii.co.uk/ii-accounts/trading-account
They are listed on the ASX, as you know, so when you search for the share on II remember to input ASX for the exchange search. You'd need to get your timings right if you want to buy or sell them live (best time I believe is 5 am UK time) and there are times when the ASX will be closed when II are open, and vice versa.

IALIS .. open an IG trading account ! Covers all Australian shares .
I sold most of my Artemis, last night, in at 2.8c sold at 14c, put it straight into Antipa, they have a few deals going on, and with NC. Sold all my WSBN at 8c from in at 2c, also having a DL deal on Artemis holdings. Considered the rises to be to quick & a little to much nearology.
hi, I'm relatively new to trading but have held shares with ggp for a while, I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction on how to buy shares in Artemis as my HGL account wont allow me to
If the Artemis drilling does find gold it will be at depth, so I think they will look to negotiate a GGP style farm in with Newcrest.
They do not have the funds to do a comprehensive drilling programme, so they they are probably just looking to put 1 deep hole into each target.
From a Newcrest point of view this would be excellent, as the Artemis deposits would be an extension to the Hav mine rather than a separate project needing it’s own decline.
My gut feel is that Artemis will get some good results.
Cheer Chart - nice to know you are keeping an eye on things and are prepared to jump in to put us in our place if we don't toe the line :-))
Enjoy the ride up to MRE and beyond - ATB Paddy
Hi just a quick question , does anyone know how we would invest in a stock such as Artemis on the Australian stock exchange, my HGL account doesnt allow me to
Is it likely that GGP would follow the same strategy as Artemis and drill themselves at Scallywag (if swag proves up of course), or, would it be more likely they would JV with NCM again?
Seems brave to me that Artemis would go it alone initially. Do you think they're playing hardball and looking for better terms with NCM?
I had a good look at what Artemis were doing on the last satellite a couple of days ago - they are still at their first hole in the east. They are due to be working on our northern boundary and southern boundary of their "box" that surrounds 3 sides of HAV. No sign of anything on either of these boundaries yet - does this mean they are going to 2,000m with their first hole having seen what HAV is delivering at these depths or just to the planned 800m? I suspect the former cos they have been there for weeks now, and if the cores glisten I guess they would just keep going.
As for their red blob "targets" shown in their reports there is one that NC have prodded with a drill a couple of times half way from HAV towards the northern boundary as Paddy notes. Artemis shows these targets as discontinuous - but if breccia doesn't have a magnetic signature (? - forgive me if I have been reading geological details incorrectly - it ain't my subject) then there may be a chance that there are bits of breccia following the underlying fault lines - one going all the way through Scallywag and a second split branch that goes north into Artemis' tenement.
GDay Paddy you legend!
Still here mate, own GGP and ARV. Boards too busy for my like but still have a look every once in a while.
No snippets other than this area is the biggest thing in world gold mining these days.
Cheers
CB
chartbuster - great to hear from you, where have you been?
All still looking rosy in the GGP / Havieron garden, are you hearing any juicy snippets down in Oz these days?
ATB - Paddy
Thanks for that info, CB, cool :))))
Thanks Lebugue, this overlapping is an interesting one to watch, isn't it just? :))))

ARV could be be good...but also more risky...AZY in my eyes is pretty much derisked in the Paterson at this point. 3 JVs with 3 different big boys and a piece of 100% owned land too. All four are being drilled/worked on right now too!!
Jet47 let me straightne things out mate
ARV sold their JV with Novo for $8m
ARV didnt buy Rincon back in 2018 cos they wanted $20m for it then Gunsynd bought 28% for a few hundred grand earlier this year.
ARV did not by the ground off NCM
ARV dont want to JV because they want to drill themselves and keep 100%. Have a squiz at their twitter.
ARV getting a lot of attention back here in Oz now.
cheers
CB
Jet47 it appears to have a similar footprint to the new NE breccia area shown on the latest GGP schematic plan, then extends north following the route of the post mineral dyke for c1km. GH seemed to be very exited about the NE breccia so that feels like there’s plenty of potential to expand the known footprint of Hav
Great read this morning...seems Havieron still holds a few secrets and has the potential to move the dial even further for investors.
Jet well spotted with the Star trek Discovery references... so that makes their ground the Delta quadrant.....Havieron must be the Alpha quadrant :)
Bamps21, what if there is something there could they not access it from the same box cut and decline.
Thanks Goldworm:)))
PR77, so they overlap?
@Paddy I’ve just tired to roughly scale off the NE gravity target shown on the Artemis image and that looks like it could extend up to 1km beyond the current outer edge of the Hav crescent. GH also states in the Proactive interview yesterday that there could be a need for a further 12 months drilling to define the extent of Hav. We might only just be seeing the very edge of that NE Breccia zone and it could extend some way north.
I think we are getting ahead of ourselves - they haven’t found anything yet - let’s wait and see :)
Artemis were going to buy Rincon but pulled out under share holder pressure. Gunsynd (GUN on LSE) bought 28% of Rincon and Rincon plan to list on ASX later this year
