s but if demand was allowed its effect on the markets by raising the bid/sp the orders may well be filled a lot sooner and by fairer means.
@pomiexpress. I am a PI and LTH, this is just a discussion. Like many say on these bb’s, be careful of putting in stop (losses), the same can be said about demand. Large orders are typically set with a limit price. For example, get me 5mm shares between 21-21.25p. If an MM works the order, and other MM’s are not raising the bid, then the order will sit there through the day or perhaps larger orders across many days even put on and taken off until filled in tranches say of 100k or 250k shares. This is not prizing shares from anyone, it is setting a limit and not being too upset if not met. Otherwise just quote and deal if adamant about filling a order quickly and the bid will go up.
Take an example, putting an offer on a house priced at £200k, but offering £190k. If the offer is not accepted or it is exceeded then £190k will never be filled and the bidder has to live with missing out. Put that in a shares market that is constantly changing and you get the volatility in a small range when news flow is short and volume turnover is low.
In quiet markets as it has been for GGP for weeks, the sellers do perhaps outstrip the buyers and perhaps the larger buyers are putting in lower limit orders. It’s a game if you are trading or accumulating or selling down in material amounts.
Let the sideshow continue whilst sitting on hands.

Bamps - thanks for a good reminder of the fundamentals; everyone can easily see the value in GGP now and moving forward for the future.
Stay patient, stay invested, stay safe.
You may be correct in your comments re major purchases but if demand was allowed its effect on the markets by raising the bid/sp the orders may well be filled a lot sooner and by fairer means.
Currently the system implies, no, tells us, that really large shareholders including institutions have no intention of selling a single share in GGP like us LTH's so the only way MM's can satisfy the many big buyers is to try to squeeze the ordinary PI shareholders out of the shares they own by sometimes unfair means.
The fundamental of a market is if demand is high prices rise. If demand is small prices fall. Should be automatic. Simple.
Aim does not do this automatically because other factors appear to have been maliciously incorporated into the arena/market due to lack of efficient regulation.
So successful this policy has been some are proposing an easing on London Stock Exchange Regulations which would devastate Pi investors on the Main London markets. Imagine the Footsie as an Aim type market. Heaven forbid.
Good luck with your investment anyway. We will get there.
The cost of cobalt is very high due to the production of the cobalt cathodes being very complex.
I will try and explain it simply as I can:-
There are 3 ways Havieron could get its cobalt.
Copper/cobalt sulphides the main source at Havieron.
You have to follow the process through to the electrolysis producing the copper cathode from the copper anode.
The anodes and sludge from that process are then turned back to a molten form and lime is added to increase the PH, the idea is to make copper cobaltite and further processing to remove the Nickel and Zinc sulphides to leave a cobalt hydroxide.
The cobalt hydroxide is then used in electrolysis to form a pure cobalt cathode.
The second way of gaining cobalt is from the Arsenic Sulphides which is another lengthy process .
After the roasting process the concentrate powders are leached with sulphuric acid and used to form the copper/cobalt anodes and used in the electrolysis again to form the cathodes.
As you can tell it's not an easy process and I've simplified it.
In copper oxides the cobalt content is about 5% of the copper so there won't be vast amounts at Havieron but in cobalt terms substantial
Where is Magictrades? We could really do with his input
This ability to partial buy/sell large orders is available to anyone who has an account with a global broker. The broker I use for the US has this Intelligent buy/sell option, it just costs a bit more on the deal.
Greatland Gold Fields £5
There's not a lot mentioned about this target and is overshadowed by Goliath.
If I was comparing the isosurface contours with a weather maps isobars I would say Goliath is like a large Atlantic Low and Los Diablos a very deep Low with storm force 10 winds.
This is how it compares to Goliath on the web site
Goliath: Originally identified as a very high amplitude, bulls-eye magnetic feature in Greatland’s recent aeromagnetic survey, new data shows a very large amplitude gravity anomaly semi-coincident with the magnetic anomaly.
Los Diablos: A bulls-eye, high intensity magnetic anomaly located in a structurally favourable position with a gravity response of moderate to high amplitude coincident with the magnetic feature."
So Goliath is semi coincident where the size of the 3D gravity model is far larger than the 3D magnetic model but both centralised.
Los Diablos is fully coincidence with both models fully converging, both high intensity .
Both models start 100m below ground and go below 1,000m and the Bulls eye shape is about 750 diameter.
One historic drill went in at an angle if it had been vertical it would have hit it.
I haven't come across any other target that has fully coincidence models, even Havieron was semi coincident.
There has been 2183 MMI geochemical samples taken over Paterson Range East and Goliath has similar geochemical Gold/copper signatures as Havieron.
I'm not going to speculate but it looks very promising for a Tier 1 candidate

Bamps hi..the volvo 540, upto 750 can be plated 180 tons..the merc can go upto 230 tons.. but normally in AUS the Volvo would be more popular
Bromus is a fairly long licence running NW to SE
A ground loop electromagnetic survey was carried out to the NW and picked out 4 high priority targets with strong conductances.
Some exploratory drills were done in 2016 and was followed up by a downhole EM survey. Br001,003 both missed the conductances but the model proved the high priority targets.
In the SE zone a geochemistry survey was carried out and found a very high nickel area of 2,690ppb.
The SE is very close to infrastructure i.e. road, rail, water, electric etc
It's a good prospect for the future but at the moment it's outside their planned target commodity and the Paterson is priority.
Someone really don't like us PI's knowing about big buys as they happen in trading hours-
@poniexpress - there does appear to be a lot of confusion and misdirection that could easily become transparent and clear with todays technology. However, on your point, if a large order is placed it may only get filled in small tranches across the day depending on availability of stock and any limits set on purchase. So you may not see it reported until after hours as it may be only full filled or partially filled at close else it could look like a set of small trades - this you can’t do much about imho.

Just watched a video of a Kenworth C510 road train 1000hp
It can carry 300 ton of coal but off road.
It's got 5 trailers, each trailer can be loaded in 3 minutes from a silo.
The video is in a Queensland mine.
Queensland have stricter laws on road trains only B doubles can use the road. The B indicates a fifth wheel, the double indicates 2 trailers .
B triples are the normal road trains
Max weight they can carry on Australian roads is 136t
Volvo Fh16 can carry 120tons
The road from Telfer to Havieron will presumably be private so a Kenworth 5 trailer could be used but the road surface will have to be good as they have a small wheel base.
A second hand one of these is not cheap a 2010 model truck only is A$80,000+
6m tons per year = 55 of these 300 ton trains every day to get it to Telfer
Bamptastic... Keep up the fantastic work.. it's much appreciated by everyone with even half a Brain Cell..

Someone really don't like us PI's knowing about big buys as they happen in trading hours- It obviously has positive effects on affects on SP. They seem to think its none of our business so apart from the usual confusion on trade identifications etc they don't let us know until after hours.
Its not a crooked market,of course, it matters not. We will have our day again but it makes you laugh at them.
Onwards and upwards.
now there's a real conspiracy for you ; )

ENOUGHT see ya, boards gone to pot. Better things to do :-(
No I don't know why either? Strange!
The entire thread got zapped. No idea why. All I asked was Size of the trade and he said 6 figures.
You silly people, I was referring to :- Got it !!!!! Just goes to show the DYOR before posting rubbish.

I seem to sense a bit of nervousness on the part of holders this morning, could be a bit of a tin hat day across the board today.

Hi Tom, Mush
I can't believe I've written so much, trying to find my old posts is hard so i'm trying to quell nerves by bringing forward relevant posts.
I had a file of stuff like this at Cerp, when the merger happened and I left, it all went in the compost :))
Mush I don't see myself as Doc but might be to others, shame we couldn't meet up in Stroud.
And where did Mercman's post disappear too or did I imagine it??
If you're there Merc, great decision and I am hoping it is a very large buy that you will hang on tight to!
The propblem is with the XRF instruments the focus is just a pin point so can miss plenty and doesnt see whats hidden just below the surface, so it really is a quick first look
