Forget MATD won’t be doing anything for 1 or 2 years missed the entire drilling season 2020 and likely to need a big placing. Keep well clearer
I am hoping to see more activity near the possible Havieron drill site, approximately 500m. North of the horseshoe, which Paddy has plotted on his overlay.
"if the plumbing that Alastair talks about does continue on then there must be a "good" chance that there will be other hits in the area. "
Thanks, Paddy.
Sorry hopefully, did you mean he hasn’t or he has? I’m blocked by GH lol
Good morning all. Checked GH twitter account and he hasn't retweeted Alistair Clayton Crux investors interview. As we know he follows Paddy so he would have seen it now. He's a cunning beaver. Read between the lines and keep the faith despite what the sp may do short term.
Pretty sure AC was at the ggp agm last year. Sat in front of me and they were all on first name terms...
Hg - Yes, those corporate connections (PRIM, GGP) surely must mean they know each other personally and that Clayton is expressing the views not of himself but of Heddle though that's my assertion!
thanks
@schlemiel Alistair is also on the board of Primorus Investments and had a reasonably large stake in Greatland a few years back and still holds few a shares now from what I recall. I wouldn't be surprised if they've had a few conversations. GH is usually retweets these type of interviews maybe this ones a bit too close to home especially when he was quoting 10-20 million ounces as a hard number?
@RA - yes you are correct if anything is found there it would be within the 12 blocks of the farm-in and therefore would be subject to the same terms as Havieron.
It would make the PFS, FS and the 5% FMV calculations very interesting indeed.
ATB - Paddy
@TMT - if the plumbing that Alastair talks about does continue on then there must be a "good" chance that there will be other hits in the area. I don't think the sulphide zone will continue all the way up to the boundary but there may well be other breccia pipes or folded sequences along that fault line.
I didn't buy into ARV in any sort of big way unfortunately as funds were limited at the time but I did get in about the 3.5c mark and I think with the sentiment as it is they will be testing the 10c mark tonight so very happy with the progress there also.
GGP is still my first and best love - Havieron, Scallywag, Black Hills Paterson Range East, Rudall, Panorama, Tasmania and even Ernest Giles - there is no other company to touch us for potential.
BTW - Richard Branson can bugger off and get his bail out somewhere else. LOL - Paddy
It's telling that DDH1 has been brought on board by Artemis to drill Paterson Central
@Paddy If the artemis find is 2km north of Hav and straddles into our tenement. I suspect that it will be within the 12 blocks covered by the JV. If so, then only partly ours. The mining activity in and around the Hav area could get quite interesting with multiple parties involved. Am I correct regarding coverage of JV?
Regards
RA
@Paddy "Imagine if Artemis hit at Kzinti which straddles our tenement over 2km to the north of Havieron - oh my"
Just to be clear, you're suggesting that if he's right and it is the same system, that the sulfide runs all the way to the border of the tenement (and beyond). Which would mean that your nice little calculation today and everyone else's fag packets have been the biggest waste of time ever. Is that right?
And that since you also bought into Artemis (if I remember correctly), Richard Branson is going to be coming to you next time he needs a bailout for his airline, LOL. Does that about cover it?
Yes as far as I'm aware AJ. You can have as many ISA's as you like but you can only pay into one in any particular tax year.
Please correct me if I'm wrong people but that is my understanding of it - Paddy
Hi Paddy well I hope it works out for him. He seems a nice guy but more Geologist than CEO imo. I think GH would have handled those questions far better although I can see where he was coming from saying each drill result will determine the next step but if they're hanging around waiting for assays I'm concerned they will burn into their money and not make the sort of progress that Newcrest have achieved at Havieron. I'm sure Callum would give guidance if asked. PS thanks for your satellite work. Even the girlfriends asking when the NW line of three drill results are so she can update our xl spreadsheet. :-)
No, only one ISA per person per tax year
@Hopefully, Paddy
That was my take, too. We have the cash for a lot of holes, especially once NCM pays for our 5% of Hav. (No one knows how long it will be before we begin to really know how big Hav is, after all).
If we get a major resource under so much less cover than at Hav... Even if it is all Cu and no gold at all....
In the discussion that RA started yesterday I suggested one scenario where we make Scal look like a pincushion. Not everyone thought that was possible, but at $20K AUD...
Anyone, does Alistair Clayton personally know Heddle and Baxter? Any ideas? It seems odd for Clayton to state so categorically what he believes Hav contains though whether that's a resource figure or proven and probable is anyone's guess
@ajbennett - I use IG Markets for my ISA and you can buy ASX listed stocks on there.
ajb - U need a broker who deals in ASX stocks assuming of course your residence is the UK
@hopefullygold - what did you make of the interview?
One hit for Artemis at Kzinti and boom - I've just been checking out the RC drilling situation and they seem to be good for up to 600m - $30AUD / metre seems very cheap although I did hear Alastair mention that figure also.
So a 600m hole would cost roughly $18,000 AUD - round that up to $20,000 and convert to £GBP - works out to about £11,000. We could put an awful lot of 600m holes in the ground with the money in the bank.
ATB - Paddy
@ TmT - I've caught up with the video. Someone was asking Hydrogen a few weeks back how many dollars to drill a hole. Alistair Clayton in this interview said under 30$ Aus per metre for a RC RIG so I'm sure mathematicians could estimate the number of holes we would get at Scallywag with 50-100 metres of cover minus cost of assays for let's say 1 million initial outlay and a guesstimate depth of 500 metres? It could be interesting to compare with Havieron and what we may expect over the coming months.
@Davielad just a short trip around the Gulf of Almeria, Spain. I'll sit down and watch it now. Hope it wasn't another duff post
Hey Paddy- indeed!! He knows his onions alright which makes it all even more exciting!! Oh my oh my oh my indeed! An expert's endorsement....cannot wait for the big reveal...however incrementally it seeps out in the news! Your initial measurement of the MRE is great and as we know you er on the side of caution...so even better!
I don't really understand the reserved SP at this point in all honesty.... but clearly so much more to come.
I feel closer to how GH felt when scratching his head and uttering those immortal words...'the market doesn't understand what we have got!'
ATB Panama
Hi panama - Alastair was talking about 20Moz of gold at Havieron over 12 months ago. He studied geology at Perth and did his thesis on Telfer style mineralisation so he knows the region very well.
Imagine if Artemis hit at Kzinti which straddles our tenement over 2km to the north of Havieron - oh my
