Get a life, strudel’s not here marking punctuation!
Cheers Redirons. No drama. I find that whenever people use the word "lol" in a comeback they can't articulate a proper argument, so the mud flinging that I'm a liar kind of confirms that. He's just got a really weird obsession with Bamps. Quite a sad life I would think.
“we can only hope they cannot get anymore into their deep pockets.”
Yes. One frequently wonders what the much-referred-to nefarious have achieved, or might yet seek to achieve in furtherance of their Ggp master plan.
Nah - not a love in Stebol just some mutual respect for the like-minded!! 👍👍
This has been going on for at least 5 years , it will not change , we can only hope they cannot get anymore into their deep pockets , as always , have A GOOD day
God forbid that this could turn in to a love in - but thanks for the comment Red - it's appreciated.
I'm rarely motivated enough to comment but a few ciders and The Stranglers 'Burning Up Time' sort of got me agitated enough. Burning up time is what it feels like right now but it will end.
Best Regards
Hi SAS - apologies for not responding to your post of last night sooner, but clearly with 32 tick ups on your post, we are not alone in our beliefs!! VGLA true Greatlanders, these have been the toughest 3 years (plus) that any of us could have truly expected, but this too must change imho - we need one of the catalysts to land to see a decent bounce back and then we are off to the races!!
Steb - a bit casual on the use of caps mate
Hi Chuff - I hope everyone reports Freddie for that - it is not acceptable!!
Love your post Stebol - love it!!
who cares?
sells v buys blah blah - its been done to death.
the only thing that matters is - do you believe we'll get it all or not? do you believe sd has assembled a board of this quality to do a bit of exploration or something more? do you believe he's sorted bank finance from 3 major banks just for a laugh? do you believe the bankers involved might have some confidence in the asset or do they habitually commit money to dead end projects? do you believe, seriously, that we sorted the 5% issue with newcrest and the diggers equity interest just for something to do? or spent nearly 3 years sorting access agreements for ernest giles because we were bored? do you wyloo took a stake because they thought we were on the road to nowhere?
i don't care about buys v sells - it's just a load of ****.
the only thing i care about is what the company is doing and for me, they're doing everything right.
it's tough at the moment but hey, we're well set.
regards to all the usual suspects, complete disdain for anyone in a box .
Been going on all week
Having the experience of the 5% valuation process, plus this is SD and the boards area of expertise, I am fairly confident of a positive outcome.
Just logged in and not read any comments but surely it's already been covered, the fact that we have 18 million buys v 4 million sells and we're up less than 1%! How can anyone defend this and say there's no corruption. Absolutely disgusting!!
You can disagree with me Freddie, but to call me a liar is defamatory
I feel similar that GGP is working on buying Telfer+Hav. Shaun has said as much during London TH visits. But there is a process involved and how long that takes........ how long is a piece of string. All GGP stakeholders are well incentivised to make this work and rerate GGPs valuation. Wyloo and Tribeca are cornerstone investors. The Board and Management Team have vested interests here too. Callum Baxter is a large shareholder.
It sucks balls waiting and watching the share price but a lot of the sector is also experiencing similar. There are some companies doing well right now, typically those with gold/copper revenue. We are in the development stage so not so lucky. Sentiment and volume will change this, as discussed previously.
We now know NEM are in Phase 1 of the sales processes and 3 teams set up for different geo's inc. Oz, also that they have activated a 'price discovery' phase and certainly they have at least one bidder for Hav/Telfer you'd presume with GGP. If akin to Aykem where opening bids are due by end of April, hopefully this means negotiations can commence in May for GGP too.
You'd think that GGP has worked at getting close to a funding framework for what all involved deem a fair value range agreed in principle to assist talks with existing and perhaps new members of current syndicate , alongside having performed as much Due Diligence as possible at this stage for all parties around their own perspectives and needs - GGP's aided by current involvement in Havieron as part owners with planned processing at Telfer.
So fingers crossed we could just be a few months away from a resolution, not saying it couldn't take far longer if perhaps some complications arose or there are other bidders where allowance has to be made for all parties to offer, so LROR can be actioned by GGP of course.
No one knows exactly what is going on but NEM have said they're looking to execute or decide all divestments by Q1 2025, and enough reasons to hope that GGP's negotiations move quickly. In terms of sequencing, both the CEO and their investor relations have articulated that they'd expect Oz assets and Aykem to probably be divested before the N.American assets to date.
Chuffchuff you want to read that back lol Bamps has never ramped or urged people to buy ?????? That must be the lie of the century lol , dont worry i’m not staying .
Who pays for the rest of the decline?
Why isn’t SD doing something about the SP?
How much longer do we wait?
I guess comments like this are to be expected on a free public forum. Takes all kinds.
Petejh- congrats on profiting from the spike a while back ( genuinely). But I think you’ll agree, it was with luck and a fair wind that was the case ( otherwise you’d have sold out completely at the time).
I notice you say you’ve been here 7-8 years. When GGP was just an idea on paper. Surely to speculate then - really was pure guesswork and a punt.
There are no certainties in life and gambling on the stock market is just that. However, minimising risk helps enormously:
Picking when to buy.
Researching the company to within an inch of its life.
Investing money you can afford to lose.
Holding your nerve.
I bought in Jan 2019 when I knew they were going to start digging.
I spent tens and tens of hours researching.
I invested money I could lose ( not easily but it wouldn’t cripple me).
I held my ground during covid and Ukraine.
The rest was/ is outside my control .
But when peeps come out with comments similar to the start of this post, one is reminded how easily a fool and his money are parted.
Close the laptop, go for a run/swim/beer I say…..👌
Let’s see what happens in H2/24.

Yes - maybe
Aim999 and various permutations thereof. It's uniquely the place of disrupters to continually bring Bamps name up when he very rarely mentions the SP (unless it is to say he would not sell for x price or whatever). He never urges people to buy and I've ever seen him speculate on SP or ramp the share in a traditional sense. In fact when all the froth is going on about SP he is normally pretty silent. What he does is ring a level of knowledge and expertise about the asset at Havieron and of geology and of other tenements and their potential prospectivity. What you and others do (Freddie does this often) is mention his name in a completely erroneous context, especially if he's not posted much. In fact your own posts might therefore be construed as "targeted harassment" because you aren't in a conversation with him, you are just baiting or b*tching. I can't quite work out if it's because you have lost so much on AIM or whether you are simply a nasty piece of work. Both of those of course may apply, they are not mutually exclusive.
Understand the quote, then understand "maybe" that I put
Expectations for the divestitures is that those will be executed within the next 12 months. Hence, the classification on the balance sheet is assets held for sale. So expectation is through first quarter of 2025 that we will have executed or made decisions around the divestitures. And so the timing is contingent upon that.
Hannah - both are pest posters from way back, wind up merchants.
Binned them several months ago.
Aim what is your obsession with bamps and paddy or are you just a complete W⚓ as you come across.Just asking x
Spy - What this tells everyone is that its going to drag out for maybe another year.
What makes you say that?
